【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、配線基板をケース内に収容し、かつ、レール部材に装着される検出器アンプユニットに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年、工場の生産ラインや検査ライン等においては、図9のように、多数の検出器100を用いている。各検出器100は、たとえば光ファイバ101と、該光ファイバ101からの光信号を光電変換して信号の処理を行うアンプ部102とから構成されている。各アンプ部102は、図示しない配線基板と、これを収容する樹脂製のケース105を備えており、該ケース105が制御盤103内のレール部材104に装着されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、前記制御盤103は小型化される傾向にあり、そのため、アンプ部102同士は互いに近接ないし接触した状態でレール部材104に装着され、また、アンプ部102の薄型化の要請が強い。一方、工場の生産ライン等では、湿気や油・粉塵を含んだ悪環境下に曝される場合があるので、アンプ部102は略密閉された防塵・防滴構造が採用されている。したがって、アンプ部102内で発生した熱が逃げにくいので、効率の良い放熱の手段を講じる必要がある。

本発明は前記従来の問題に鑑みてなされたもので、かかる検出器アンプユニットにおいて、効率の良い放熱手段を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、配線基板と、前記配線基板を収容する樹脂製のケースと、前記ケースの底部に設けられ、前記ケースを二つの爪部によりレール部材を挟持する装着部とを備え、複数台が前記レール部材に装着される際に、互いに近接ないし接触した状態で装着される検出器アンプユニットにおいて、前記ケースには、金属板で形成された放熱部材が取り付けられ、前記放熱部材は、前記ケースにおける配線基板に沿い互いに対向するケース側壁の外側面に接触する一対の板からなる第1板部と、前記第1板部に連なり前記二つの爪部の間に設けられると共に前記レール部材の上面に接触する第2板部とが断面コ字状に一体形成され、前記検出器アンプユニットの第1板部は、前記レール部材に装着された状態で隣り合う他の検出器アンプユニットの第1板部と近接ないし接触可能であることを特徴とする。

配線基板等で発生した熱は、ケースを介して放熱部材の第1板部から第2板部に伝わり、更に、レール部材に伝熱される。ここで、ケースにおける比較的大きな面積を有する側壁に第1板部が接触しているので、樹脂製のケースから金属製の第1板部に熱が効率良く伝わり、第1板部と一体の第2板部を介して、金属製のレール部材に熱が効率良く伝わる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施形態を図面にしたがって説明する。
図1において、断面凹字状の金属製のレール部材1には一対のレール部10が形成され、このレール部10には、複数の検出器アンプユニット2が互いに近接ないし接触した状態で装着されている。

図2に示すように、検出器アンプユニット2は、箱状のケース3内に破線で示すプリント基板(配線基板)4が収容されている。前記ケース3は樹脂製で、プリント基板4に沿って薄く形成されている。ケース3の底部30には、図3に示すように、ケース3をレール部材1に装着する装着部31が設けられている。なお、装着部31は、底部30の凹所30aの両端部に設けた固定爪31aおよび可動爪31bによって構成されている。

前記ケース3には、図2に示す断面略コ字状の放熱部材5が装着される。放熱部材5は、一対の第1板部50と、第2板部51とが金属板により一体に形成されている。

前記第1板部50は、ケース3におけるプリント基板4に沿った一対の側壁32の外側面32aに図4のように接触しており、該第1板部50には、ケース3を介して、プリント基板4(図2)などで発生した熱が伝熱される。図2の前記第1板部50は、第2板部51から遠ざかる程互いの間隔が狭く設定されており、放熱部材5がバネ性を有する金属(たとえば銅合金)で形成されていることにより、第1板部50と外側面32aとの接触圧力の増大を図っている。

前記第2板部51は、一対の第1板部50に連なり、図3のように、装着部31によりレール部材1のレール部10に接触した状態が保持されている。図2に示すように、前記ケース3の側壁32には凹所からなる被係合部(係合要素)32bが設けられ、一方、前記第1板部50には突起からなる係合部(係合要素)50aが設けられており、係合部50aが被係合部32bに嵌り込んで係合していることによって、第2板部51がケース3の底部30に接触した状態が保持される。

なお、放熱部材5には、ニッケルメッキが施されている。また、6はコネクタで、検出器アンプユニット2同士を電気的に接続している。

前記構成においては、図1の検出器アンプユニット2が互いに近接ないし接触しているので、検出器アンプユニット2の間に挟まれた検出器アンプユニット2は、特に、熱が逃げにくい。これに対し、本検出器アンプユニット2は、比較的大きな表面積を有する一対の側壁32に金属からなる第1板部50が接触している。そのため、側壁32から第1板部50に熱が伝わり易く、更に、第1板部50と一体の第2板部51を介して、金属製のレール部材1に伝熱される。したがって、検出器アンプユニット2で発生した熱を効率良く逃がすことができる。

特に、本実施形態では、放熱部材5の第1板部50がバネ性を有し、第1板部50と側壁32との接触圧力が大きいので、熱伝達の効率が良い。

また、図3のように、第2板部51も底部30に接触しているので、底部30からも第2板部51に熱が伝わる。そのため、ケース3から放熱部材5に熱伝達される面積が大きくなるので、熱を効率良く逃がすことができる。

また、本実施形態では、係合部50aと被係合部32bとを設けているので、第2板部51がケース3の底部30に接触した状態を良好に保持することができる。

なお、ケース3は防塵および防滴構造となっているが、本発明では、ケース3の外部に放熱手段を設けたので、ケース3の防塵性および防滴性を損なうおそれもない。

ところで、係合部50aと被係合部32bは必ずしも必要ではなく、また、係合部50aの形状も、図5のように、種々の形状とすることができる。さらに、係合部50aを貫通孔で形成し、被係合部32b(図2)を凸部で形成してもよい。

また、第2板部51の裏面には、図6のように、冷却フィン51aを設けてもよい。また、第2板部51はレール部材1のレール部10に接触している必要はなく、図7のように、レール部材1におけるレール部10以外の部分に接触していてもよい。

さらに、図8のように、レール部10(図7)に接触する接触部51bを斜め下方に若干折り曲げて、バネ性を持たせ、接触部51bとレール部10との接触圧力の増大を図ってもよい。

また、図2のケース3と放熱部材5とが接触する面には、熱伝導率の高い部材を介挿してもよい。たとえば、ケース3の底部30および側壁32に金属膜を蒸着したり、あるいは、ケース3と放熱部材5との間に熱伝導率の良いグリースを介挿してもよい。また、ケース3の表面に導電性塗料を塗布して、塗料によってケース3に放熱部材5を接着してもよい。

また、前記実施形態では、光ファイバ式の検出器について説明したが、本発明は、近接スイッチや超音波センサなどの他の検出器についても採用することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明によれば、金属製の放熱部材を設け、比較的広い面積を有するケースの側壁に第1板部を接触させ、第1板部から第2板部を介して金属製のレール部材に熱を逃がすので、薄い箱状のケースから熱を効率良く逃がすことができる。
