本発明の掛け布団は、キルティングの縫い縮みを利用して製造された掛け布団であって、えり元には掛け布団の中央に向かって円弧状の複数のキルティングがされてその縫い縮みにより使用者の首が収まるＵ形の凹部が形成され、足元部分には横方向の複数のキルティングがされてこれにより足元部分は使用者のつま先から垂れ下がりやすく形成され、身体に相当する部分にはえり元のキルティングと足元部分のキルティングとの間で縦縁に沿って縦方向にのみキルティングがされてその縫い縮みにより掛け布団の両縦縁が中央に寄せられる力を作用させ、四隅部分には掛け布団の中央側からコーナー部に向けて斜め方向にキルティングがされてこれにより掛け布団がピラミッド型の箱状になるようにしていることを特徴とする。掛け布団内には寝汗を吸湿するための吸湿シートを入れてもよい。吸湿シートとしては、竹炭シートが好ましい。

【発明の実施の形態】
