Description
【0001】
200≦M≦258
の範囲D1(図1参照)に設定されている。
の範囲D2(図1参照)に設定されている。
M≦2370T−340
の範囲D3(図1参照)に設定されている。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an easy-to-swing golf club that can always maintain a stable swing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, in order to increase the flight distance, the length of a golf club tends to gradually increase.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a golf club, only the point of increasing the length is considered, and since the ease of swinging is not sufficiently considered, there is a problem in terms of swing stability. .
[0004]
Specifically, to make it easier to swing, static considerations such as reducing the weight of the club were made, but the moment of inertia around the grip end of the golf club and the vibration cycle with the grip held are adjusted. There was no dynamic consideration. For this reason, during swinging (for example, when turning at the top), the player's fingers, wrists, arms, shoulders, back, waist, etc. are subjected to a large (instantaneous) load, and as a result, the swing is greatly disturbed. The rate was high.
[0005]
The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a golf club that is easy to swing and can always maintain a stable swing.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, the golf club of the present invention is a golf club includes a shaft, a grip provided at the proximal end of the shaft, and a head provided at the distal end of the shaft ,
The club length is 45 inches or more,
The moment of inertia M (g · m 2 ) around the grip end and the bending vibration period T (sec) are set in a range of 200 ≦ M ≦ 300 and 0.340 ≧ T ≧ 0.2650. It is characterized by that.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The golf club of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0008]
The golf club of the present invention is defined as a superordinate concept of wood type clubs and iron type clubs including male golf clubs and female golf clubs unless otherwise specified.
[0009]
As shown in FIGS. 1, 2 (a), and 2 (b), the golf club of the present invention is provided with a
[0010]
First, as a first setting range, in the golf club of the present invention, the moment of inertia M (g · m 2 ) around the grip end is:
200 ≦ M ≦ 258
Range D1 (see FIG. 1).
Specifically, in the male golf club, the moment of inertia M around the grip end is set in the range of 220 ≦ M ≦ 258, preferably in the range of 230 ≦ M ≦ 250. On the other hand, in the golf club for women, the moment of inertia M around the grip end is set in the range of 200 ≦ M ≦ 238, preferably in the range of 210 ≦ M ≦ 230. If the moment of inertia M around the grip end is made smaller than the above range, it is easy to raise using a wrist during the backswing, and as a result, the swing tends not to turn sufficiently.
[0011]
As a second setting range, in the golf club of the present invention, the moment of inertia M (g · m 2 ) around the grip end and the period T (sec) of bending vibration are:
M ≦ 300 and T ≧ 0.2650
Range D2 (see FIG. 1).
Specifically, in the male golf club, the range is set to M ≦ 300 and T ≧ 0.2650, preferably, M ≦ 295 and T ≧ 0.2700. On the other hand, in the golf club for women, it is set to the range of M ≦ 250 and T ≧ 0.2850, preferably in the range of M ≦ 240 and T ≧ 0.3150.
[0012]
Furthermore, as a third setting range, in the golf club of the present invention, the moment of inertia M (g · m 2 ) around the grip end and the period T (sec) of bending vibration are:
M ≦ 2370T-340
Range D3 (see FIG. 1).
Specifically, in the male golf club, the range is set to M ≦ 2370T-340, preferably, M ≦ 2370T-355. On the other hand, in the golf club for women, it is set in the range of M ≦ 2370T-430, preferably in the range of M ≦ 2370T-510.
[0013]
As a fourth setting range, in the golf club of the present invention, the moment of inertia M (g · m 2 ) around the grip end and the period T (sec) of bending vibration are:
M / T ≦ 1030
(Not shown).
Specifically, in the golf club for men, the range is set to M / T ≦ 1030, preferably in the range of M / T ≦ 1020. On the other hand, in the golf club for women, it is set in the range of M / T ≦ 800, preferably in the range of M / T ≦ 780.
[0014]
The first to fourth setting ranges can be appropriately selected and combined. With this combination, a golf club according to the purpose of use and the player's ability (a swing that can always maintain a stable swing is easy to swing. Golf club) can be realized.
[0015]
Here, a method of setting the moment of inertia around the grip end of the golf club of the present invention and the period of bending vibration will be described.
[0016]
First, for the moment of inertia around the grip end, for example, the weight of the
[0017]
The bending vibration period can be set to a desired value by using a golf club bending vibrometer 8 (for example, a product name “GOLF CLUB TIMING HARMONIZER” (manufacturer: Fujikura Rubber Industrial Co., Ltd.)) as shown in FIG. The actual setting method is that a part of the grip 4 (L = 7 inches (= 178 mm) from the grip end) is clamped by the
[0018]
According to the present invention, by setting the moment of inertia around the grip end within the above-described range, the inertial force (applied to the golf club by the backswing) is reduced during the swing (especially when turning at the top). Therefore, it is possible to reduce the load on the finger, wrist, arm, shoulder, back, waist, etc. of the player. As a result, a stable swing can be maintained.
[0019]
Furthermore, according to the present invention, by setting the period of the bending vibration within the above-described range, it is possible to distribute the load at the time of swing (particularly at the time of turning back at the top). That is, when switching at the top, the load on the player can be reduced over a long period of time. As a result, it is possible to reduce the load on the player's fingers, wrists, arms, shoulders, back, hips, etc., and maintain a stable swing.
[0020]
In addition, even if the moment of inertia around the grip end is increased with respect to the first setting range, the effect of maintaining a stable swing can be obtained, so the head weight can be increased, and the flight distance and sweet area can be increased. It is possible to provide a golf club that is also considered in the expansion of the golf club.
[0021]
According to the present invention, it is possible to always maintain a stable swing by appropriately combining the moment of inertia around the grip end and the bending vibration period as appropriate in the first to fourth setting ranges described above. A golf club that is easy to swing can be provided.
[0022]
In particular, the present invention is effective for a long golf club. Specifically, it is effective for a golf club for men of 45 inches or more (preferably 46 inches or more, more preferably 47 inches or more), while 44 inches or more (preferably 45 inches or more, more preferably 46 inches or more) is effective for a golf club for women.
[0023]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an easy-to-swing golf club that can always maintain a stable swing.
