tan(α)=R・E・U/S
tan(α)=(R1−R2)・E・U/S

[0043]
From the position H, as a position control after the approach, the
[0044]
Here, between the position I and the position H, as shown in FIG. 4, since the inclined portion b is generated on the processing surface by the oblique approach, the
[0045]
As an embodiment, as a result of performing an oblique approach using a pipe-shaped electrode having an outer diameter of 0.5 mm and an oblique approach start height of 0.015 mm and an oblique approach XY movement amount of 2 mm, in the case of the conventional vertical approach, 10 μm In contrast to the depth of the depression, only a negligible step having a depth of 2 μm or less was formed in the oblique approach.
[0046]
In the vicinity of the electrode approach position, a recess is likely to occur on the processed surface. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, the electrical condition of the discharge during the electrode descent in the approach (section from position F to position H) 14, it is possible to switch to the
[0047]
Thereby, the excessive machining in the depth direction of the workpiece due to the electrode lowering, in other words, the generation of a depression (step) on the machining bottom surface is further reliably reduced.
[0048]
In addition, as shown in FIG. 6, the oblique approach start height position may be changed to a position G ′ that is separated from the upper surface of the workpiece W by a distance h ′ in the Z-axis direction according to the electrical conditions. it can.
[0049]
This also further reliably reduces the occurrence of a depression (step) on the bottom surface of the workpiece due to excessive machining in the depth direction of the workpiece due to electrode lowering.
[0050]
It should be noted that the distances h and h ′ for determining the oblique approach start height positions G and G ′ may be set to be approximately the same as the discharge gap value determined by the electrical conditions, so that the discharge occurs for the first time in the section d. become.
[0051]
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the oblique approach XY movement amount can be changed to d ′ smaller than d according to the machining path or the like, and the steady machining start position of the
[0052]
As a result, an appropriate oblique approach can be performed even in the case of processing of a minute shape with respect to the used electrode diameter.
[0053]
【The invention's effect】
As understood from the above description, according to the electric discharge machining apparatus and the electric discharge machining method according to the present invention, the level difference of the machining bottom surface portion can be reduced, and electric discharge machining with high plane accuracy of the machining bottom surface is performed.
[0054]
According to the electric discharge machining apparatus and the electric discharge machining method according to the next invention, even when the machining path is short, an appropriate oblique approach can be performed, and electric discharge machining with high plane accuracy on the machining bottom surface is performed.
[0055]
According to the electrical discharge machining apparatus and electrical discharge machining method of the next invention, the electrical conditions for electrical discharge machining are optimally set individually at the time of approach and after approach, so that the step at the machining bottom surface portion can be further reduced, and the machining bottom surface can be further reduced. Further, the electrical discharge machining with higher planar accuracy is performed.
