DS-CDMA(Direct Sequence−Code Division Multiple Access)通信方式は、異なる拡散符号を用いて複数の受信機が同一の周波数で通信を行なう方式である。
【0031】
A1={Σ|R1(t)|}/N
A2={Σ|R2(t)|}/N
A3={Σ|R3(t)|}/N
【0032】
【0033】
B1=Σ{|R1(t)|−A1}2/N
B2=Σ{|R2(t)|−A2}2/N
B3=Σ{|R3(t)|−A3}2/N
【0034】
【0035】
D12=Σ{(|R1(t)|−A1)(|R2(t)|−A2)}/N
D13=Σ{(|R1(t)|−A1)(|R3(t)|−A3)}/N
D23=Σ{(|R2(t)|−A2)(|R3(t)|−A3)}/N
【0036】
【0037】
C12=D12/√(B1×B2)
C13=D13/√(B1×B3)
C23=D23/√(B2×B3)
【0038】
【0040】
P1={Σ|R1(t)|2}/N
P2={Σ|R2(t)|2}/N
P3={Σ|R3(t)|2}/N
【0041】
【0044】
C12=Σ{r1(t)×r2(t)*}/N
C13=Σ{r1(t)×r3(t)*}/N
C23=Σ{r2(t)×r3(t)*}/N
【0045】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a receiving apparatus such as a mobile phone system that employs a direct spread spectrum communication system, and more particularly to a path search system for multipath finger assignment in a mobile radio system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The DS-CDMA (Direct Sequence-Code Division Multiple Access) communication system is a system in which a plurality of receivers communicate at the same frequency using different spreading codes. In mobile communication, a multi-wave propagation path (multipath) is formed due to the influence of buildings and topography between a base station and a receiver. In the multi-wave propagation path, waves interfere with each other and cause quality degradation in the receiver. However, in the DS-CDMA system, reception quality can be improved by separating these multi-waves and combining them with RAKE. The process of separating each path from the multiple wave propagation path is a path search. Each path separated by the path search is assigned to each RAKE finger, and a wave of each path is extracted and synthesized.
[0003]
In the receiving apparatus, when a path is selected, a delay profile is first created. In general, a delay profile is generated by calculating a correlation power value between a known common pilot signal included in a received signal and a spreading code (scramble code) while slightly shifting the delay time. A plurality of path search fingers used for performing path searches in parallel with different delay times and a plurality of detected paths are allocated to the receiving apparatus, and a plurality of RAKEs used for RAKE combining are assigned. Fingers are provided. In the receiving apparatus, a delay profile is periodically generated by a path search finger, paths corresponding to the number of RAKE fingers are selected from the delay profile, and each of these paths is assigned to the RAKE finger. As a method for selecting this path, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-237739, a method of first detecting a local maximum point from a delay profile and then selecting a path in descending order of power value from these local maximum points is known. It has been.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In mobile communication, for example, a roll-off filter is used for the purpose of removing noise components outside the transmission band such as overshoot and ringing from a received signal. The impulse response of the roll-off filter has a waveform as shown in FIG. 12, for example, when 4 times oversampling is performed. When this is converted into a power value, a waveform as shown in FIG. 13 is obtained. That is, power is leaking in addition to the sampling point having the maximum power (leakage power is zero every four samples from the maximum sampling point). When a delay profile is created in the receiving apparatus, if the number of multipaths is 1, the shape of the delay profile has the same waveform as this impulse response. When selecting a path from this delay profile, simply selecting a maximum point as in the method disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-237739, a total of three sample points,
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of these points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a receiver for direct spread spectrum communication that can always obtain good reception characteristics without being affected by the impulse response component of the filter. And
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a first receiving apparatus according to the present invention includes a receiving unit that directly receives a spread spectrum signal, a filter that removes noise components outside the transmission band from the received direct spread spectrum signal, A correlation power value for each delay time between the direct spread spectrum signal output from the filter and the spread code is obtained to generate a delay profile, a first path is detected from the delay profile, and the first profile is detected from the delay profile. After removing an impulse response component based on the transfer function of the filter based on one path, a plurality of paths are determined while performing a process of detecting a second path from the delay profile from which the impulse response component has been removed. A path search means and a direct spectrum received for each of the plurality of paths determined by the path search means. Calculating a correlation electric power value of the ram spread signal and the spread code, and RAKE combining means for RAKE combining the calculated correlation power valuesBlock error rate detection means for detecting the block error rate of the RAKE synthesized output;WithWhen the detected block error rate is lower than a predetermined value, the path search means is obtained from the correlation power value for each delay time of the direct spread spectrum signal and the spread code output from the filter. The plurality of paths are determined based on a delay profile, and when the detected block error rate exceeds a predetermined value, a first path is detected from the generated delay profile, and the first path is detected from the delay profile. After removing an impulse response component based on the transfer function of the filter based on one path, a plurality of paths are determined while performing a process of detecting a second path from the delay profile from which the impulse response component has been removed. Is a thingIt is characterized by that.
[0007]
According to the first receiving apparatus of the present invention, the first path is determined from the delay profile obtained by the path search unit, and then the impulse response component based on the transfer function of the filter based on the first path Since the plurality of paths are determined by determining the next path after removing the signal, the determined path includes only the
[0008]
The second receiving apparatus according to the present invention includes a receiving means for directly receiving a spread spectrum signal, a filter for removing noise components outside the transmission band from the received direct spread spectrum signal, and a direct spectrum output from the filter. A path search unit that obtains a correlation power value for each delay time between the spread signal and the spread code, generates a delay profile, and determines a plurality of paths from the delay profile, and a plurality of paths determined by the path search unit When the correlation power value between the received direct spread spectrum signal and the spread code is calculated and the calculated correlation value between each path is calculated, and the calculated correlation value is smaller than a predetermined threshold value RAKE-combining each path, and RAKE-combining only one path when the calculated correlation value is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value And KE synthesis meansBlock error rate detecting means for detecting a block error rate of the output of the RAKE combining, and the RAKE combining means is determined by a path search means when the detected block error rate is below a predetermined value. The correlation power value between the received direct spread spectrum signal and the spreading code is calculated for each of the plurality of paths, and the calculated correlation power value is RAKE-combined, and the detected block error rate becomes a predetermined value or more. When the calculated correlation value is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, each path is RAKE synthesized, and the calculated correlation value is calculated. Is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold, only one of the paths is RAKE combined.It is characterized by that.
[0009]
According to the second receiving apparatus of the present invention, when RAKE combining is performed, a correlation value between each detected path is calculated, and when the calculated correlation value is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, The two paths are RAKE-combined as being separate paths, and when the calculated correlation value is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold, both paths are the same path and the influence of the impulse response of the filter It is assumed that there is a relationship between
[0010]
AlsoThe receiving apparatus also includes block error rate detection means for detecting the block error rate of the RAKE-combined output, and is based on the above-described processing for removing the impulse response component of the filter from the delay profile or the correlation value between the paths. The RAKE synthesis path selection process is performed only when the block error rate exceeds a predetermined threshold value.BecauseIt is possible to reduce the processing load and reduce power consumption.

Next, a method for calculating the correlation value Cij and a specific example of the threshold will be described.
Since the correlation value Cij is a numerical value in the range of −1 to 1, for example, a numerical value in the range of 0 <TH <1 is selected as the predetermined threshold value TH described above.
[0030]
(Correlation value calculation method 1)
If the average amplitudes of
[0031]
[Expression 1]
A1 = {Σ | R1 (t) |} / N
A2 = {Σ | R2 (t) |} / N
A3 = {Σ | R3 (t) |} / N
[0032]
It can be expressed as. However, t = 1, 2,..., N. Distributions B1, B2, and B3 of
[0033]
[Expression 2]
B1 = Σ {| R1 (t) | −A1}2/ N
B2 = Σ {| R2 (t) | −A2}2/ N
B3 = Σ {| R3 (t) | −A3}2/ N
[0034]
Further, the covariance Dij between the path i and the path j is as shown in
[0035]
[Equation 3]
D12 = Σ {(| R1 (t) | −A1) (| R2 (t) | −A2)} / N
D13 = Σ {(| R1 (t) | −A1) (| R3 (t) | −A3)} / N
D23 = Σ {(| R2 (t) | −A2) (| R3 (t) | −A3)} / N
[0036]
Accordingly, the correlation value Cij between the path i and the path j is as shown in
[0037]
[Expression 4]
C12 = D12 / √ (B1 × B2)
C13 = D13 / √ (B1 × B3)
C23 = D23 / √ (B2 × B3)
[0038]
At this time, for example, if Cij> 0.5, it is determined that there is a correlation, and only one path (the path with the smaller average power) is cut off.
[0039]
(Correlation value calculation method 2)
Assuming that the average powers of
[0040]
[Equation 5]
P1 = {Σ | R1 (t) |2} / N
P2 = {Σ | R2 (t) |2} / N
P3 = {Σ | R3 (t) |2} / N
[0041]
Here, the output signals R1, R2, and R3 of the
[0042]
[Formula 6]
r1 (t) = R1 (t) / √P1
r2 (t) = R2 (t) / √P2
r3 (t) = R3 (t) / √P3
[0043]
The correlation value Cij between the path i and the path j is calculated as follows.
[0044]
[Expression 7]
C12 = Σ {r1 (t) × r2 (t) *} / N
C13 = Σ {r1 (t) × r3 (t) *} / N
C23 = Σ {r2 (t) × r3 (t) *} / N
[0045]
However, * is a conjugate complex number. At this time, for example, if Cij> 0.5, it is determined that there is a correlation, and only one path (the path with the smaller average power) is cut off.
[0046]
Also in this embodiment, it is possible to effectively prevent RAKE synthesis of a path due to the impulse response component of the filter by mistake.
Also in this embodiment, the
