BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for performing radio wave monitoring in a certain area, and more particularly, to a wide-area radio wave monitoring method and apparatus for identifying a position of a radio wave emission source such as an illegal radio station and monitoring a radio wave use environment.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when locating radio emission sources such as illegal radio stations in a certain area, sensor stations (monitoring stations) are arranged at multiple points, and each sensor station has a Yagi / Uda antenna, goniometer, etc. The direction of arrival of radio waves from the radio wave emission source was observed, and the direction of arrival at each sensor station was plotted on a map, and the position of the radio wave emission source was estimated from the position of the intersection.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The conventional method described above assumes that the radio wave from the radio wave emission source to be monitored propagates straight through the single path to the sensor station. However, radio waves from a radio wave emission source are actually diffracted and reflected by features such as topography and buildings, and therefore may propagate without going straight. In addition, radio waves from a radio wave emission source may arrive at the sensor station through a plurality of propagation paths (multipaths) due to the influence of topography and features. When the position of the radio wave emission source to be monitored is estimated by the conventional method, there is a problem that the radio wave is bent and propagated through a plurality of paths, thereby deteriorating the estimation accuracy of the position of the radio wave emission source. .
[0004]
The purpose of radio wave monitoring is not only to find illegal radio stations, but also to investigate the presence or absence of interference and interference, and to provide a better radio wave environment. In order to investigate the cause of interference and interference, it is effective to know the propagation path and electric field intensity distribution from the radio wave emission source. However, the above-described conventional method is intended only for specifying the position of the radio wave emission source to be monitored, and whether the radio wave emission source is a legitimately operating radio station or an illegal radio station. Regardless of whether the radio wave from the radio wave emission source propagates to the sensor station or the electric field intensity distribution of the radio wave from the radio wave emission source cannot be obtained. .
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide a wide-area radio wave monitoring method and apparatus that can accurately estimate the position of a radio wave emission source to be monitored in consideration of the influence of topography and features. It is another object of the present invention to provide a wide-area radio wave monitoring method and apparatus that can estimate the directivity of a transmission antenna at a radio wave emission source and that can easily show the distribution of power of the radio wave from the radio wave emission source.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The wide area radio wave monitoring method of the present invention is a wide area radio wave monitoring method for monitoring radio waves from a radio wave emission source in a certain area, wherein one or more sensor stations are arranged, and each of a plurality of points in the area, The direction of arrival of the radio wave at the sensor station when there is a radio wave emission source at the point is calculated by computer simulation using map information. In the sensor station, the radio wave from the radio wave emission source is separated for each propagation path. The direction of arrival of the radio wave is observed, the direction of arrival of the observed radio wave is compared with the result of the computer simulation, and the result of the computer simulation is searched for the one with the highest similarity to the direction of arrival of the observed radio wave The corresponding point is determined as a candidate position, and computer simulation is performed while adjusting the position of the radio wave emission source assuming that there is a radio wave emission source around the candidate position. Line to determine the position of the radio wave source is.
[0007]
A wide-area radio wave monitoring apparatus according to the present invention is a wide-area radio wave monitoring apparatus that monitors radio waves from a radio wave emission source in a certain area, a simulation apparatus that executes a computer simulation of radio wave propagation based on map information, and a radio wave emission One or more sensor stations that observe the direction of arrival of radio waves from the source, and the radio wave emission source so that the direction of arrival at the sensor station by computer simulation has the maximum similarity to the direction of arrival at the sensor station by observation A direction detection trace diagram creating means for causing the simulation apparatus to execute a computer simulation while changing the position of the radio wave, determining the position of the radio wave emission source, and tracing the propagation path of the radio wave by the computer simulation in the simulation apparatus.
[0008]
According to the present invention, by performing a computer simulation using map information, it is possible to estimate an arrival path including propagation of radio waves in consideration of the influence of topography and features. In addition, by observing the direction and intensity of radio waves separately for each propagation path at each sensor station, it is possible to estimate the antenna directivity, transmission power, and reflection / diffraction points on the terrain. Furthermore, a radio wave power map can be created by calculating and synthesizing the radio wave intensity distribution. In order to separate and observe the components for each propagation path, it is preferable to perform radio wave hologram observation at each sensor station and obtain the arrival direction and intensity from the radio wave reproduction image obtained by radio wave hologram observation.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. It is a flowchart which shows the execution procedure of the used wide area radio wave monitoring.

The center station 11 prepares in advance several reproduced radio wave images that will be obtained at each sensor station by computer simulation based on topographical data and feature data, and is based on the radio wave reproduced images and simulations actually obtained at each sensor station. Since the processing described above can be applied not only to a single radio wave emission source but also to a plurality of radio wave emission sources, according to the wide area radio wave monitoring method described here, a plurality of radio wave emission sources (transmissions) The coverage area and interference status of each station can be monitored on a map.
[0024]
Next, details of the direction detection trace diagram will be described. FIG. 4 shows an example of a direction finding trace diagram.
[0025]
In this direction detection trace FIG. 13, there is a radio wave emission source (assumed transmission station) at point Q, and the propagation path of the radio wave from this radio wave emission source is indicated by an arrow. In the figure, triangle marks and contour lines indicate mountains, and hatching indicates features. From this direction detection trace FIG. 13, the radio wave from the radio wave emission source propagates to the sensor station A as a direct wave (P 1 ) and a reflected wave (P 2 ) by the mountain, and to the sensor station B a direct wave (P 5 ) and the reflected wave (P 6 ) by the feature, and the sensor station C propagates as a diffracted wave (P 3 ) by the mountain and a reflected wave (P 4 ) by the feature. Although the two-dimensional direction detection trace diagram has been described here, the radio wave propagation path may be traced three-dimensionally (three-dimensionally) to be displayed and output.
[0026]
Next, estimation of directivity of the transmitting antenna at the radio wave emission source will be described with reference to FIG.
[0027]
From the radio wave reproduction images observed at the sensor stations A to C, the arrival direction and the intensity of the radio wave for each propagation path are extracted. FIGS. 5A to 5C show the amplitudes of radio waves observed by the sensor stations A to C, respectively. The direction of the thick arrow indicates the arrival direction of the radio wave in the propagation path, and the length of the arrow indicates the amplitude of the radio wave. In the illustrated example, the amplitude for each propagation path is a 1 , a 2 , b 1 , b 2 , c 1 , c 2 . On the other hand, the simulator device 23 performs a radio wave propagation simulation on the assumption that there is an omnidirectional transmitting antenna at the position of the already determined radio wave emission source and the radio wave is emitted therefrom, and each sensor station The amplitude of the radio wave at A to C is obtained. FIGS. 5D to 5F show the amplitudes of radio waves obtained by simulations at the sensor stations A to C, respectively. The amplitude for each propagation path is a 1 ′, a 2 ′, b 1 ′, b 2. ', c 1 ', c 2 '. Then, for each of the propagation paths P 1 , P 2 , P 3 , P 4 , P 5 , and P 6 , the observed amplitude is divided by the simulation amplitude, so that the direction of each propagation path at the position of the radio wave emission source is increased. The directivity of the transmission antenna can be obtained. In FIG. 5 (g), black circles indicate directivity in the direction of each propagation path. Then, if the interpolation calculation is performed in consideration of the assumed antenna type and the like, the directivity characteristic in an arbitrary direction can be calculated. The broken line in FIG. 5 (g) indicates the directivity calculated in this way.

In the estimation of the directivity of the transmitting antenna described above, the omnidirectional antenna is not assumed in the simulation. For example, the directivity such as the dipole characteristic is assumed, and the assumption is based on the ratio of the observed amplitude and the amplitude by the simulation. As the deviation from the directivity, the directivity of the transmission antenna may be estimated. In FIG. 5, the arrival direction and directivity of radio waves are handled in a plane (two dimensions), but it is possible to estimate the directivity in three dimensions by treating the arrival direction of radio waves in three dimensions. It is.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention separates and observes the direction of arrival of radio waves for each propagation path in a sensor station, and combines with the results of computer simulation of radio wave propagation taking into account topography and features, thereby improving the straightness of radio waves. There is an effect that the position of the radio wave emission source can be accurately determined even when the assumption is not valid or there is diffraction / reflection. Also, by using computer simulation, it is possible to trace the propagation path of the radio wave from the radio wave emission source to the sensor station, and to estimate the transmission antenna directivity of the radio wave emission source, from these, from the radio wave emission source There is an effect that the electric field strength distribution of the radio wave can be estimated, and the usage environment of the radio wave can be appropriately monitored.
