BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an idling engine speed adjusting device for an internal combustion engine. More specifically, the present invention has a main bypass passage and an auxiliary bypass passage that bypass a throttle valve, and an idle speed control valve is provided in the middle of the main bypass passage. The present invention relates to an idle speed adjusting device in an internal combustion engine having an adjusting mechanism in the middle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, in an engine idle speed control system, an idle speed control valve (ISCV) is provided in the middle of a bypass passage that is provided to bypass a throttle valve separately from an intake passage. Then, by adjusting the opening of this ISCV, the intake air amount of the internal combustion engine is controlled independently of the throttle valve, and the idle speed is controlled.
[0003]
In an idling engine speed control system using this type of technology, a target engine speed is set during idling, and the learning opening of the ISCV is calculated according to the operating state of the engine. Then, the opening degree of the ISCV is feedback-controlled so that the actual engine speed becomes the target speed. As a result, the flow rate of air passing through the bypass passage is controlled, and thus the engine speed during idling is controlled.
[0004]
In the above technique, the idle speed is adjusted as appropriate. That is, an auxiliary bypass passage is separately provided in parallel with the bypass passage, and an idle adjusting screw is provided in the auxiliary bypass passage. Then, by separately adjusting the adjusting screw by hand, the air flow rate in the auxiliary bypass passage is adjusted, so that the idle rotation speed is adjusted.
[0005]
By the way, in the technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 63-16578, for example, the ISCV is fixed at a predetermined opening when adjusting the adjusting screw. As described above, by fixing the ISCV at a predetermined opening degree, the workability in the adjustment work can be improved.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above prior art, sludge can accumulate in the bypass passage over time due to EGR gas, gas blowback from the combustion chamber, blow-by gas, or the like. When sludge accumulates in this way, when adjusting the adjusting screw, the ISCV opening is fixed to a predetermined opening, so that the amount of air required for idle operation is sufficient. There was a risk that it could not be secured. As a result, inconvenience such as engine stall may occur.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and an object thereof is to have a main bypass passage and an auxiliary bypass passage that bypass the throttle valve, and an idle speed control valve is provided in the middle of the main bypass passage. To provide an idling engine speed adjusting device for an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing the occurrence of engine stall due to insufficient air amount when adjusting the idling engine speed in an internal combustion engine having an adjusting mechanism in the middle of a passage. is there.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, the throttle valve M3 provided in the middle of the intake passage M2 of the internal combustion engine M1 is provided so as to bypass the throttle valve M3. A main bypass passage M4, an auxiliary bypass passage M5 provided so as to bypass the throttle valve M3, and an idle provided in the middle of the main bypass passage M4 to adjust the air flow rate in the passage M4 by opening and closing The idle speed control valve M6, the operating state detecting means M7 for detecting the operating state of the internal combustion engine M1, and the idle speed control valve based on the detection result of the operating state detecting means M7 at least when the internal combustion engine M1 is idling. The learning opening of M6 is calculated, and based on the learning opening, the valve M Feedback control means M8 for feedback control of the opening of the engine, and provided in the middle of the auxiliary bypass passage M5, and when adjusting the rotational speed at the time of idling of the internal combustion engine M1, the auxiliary bypass is adjusted. An adjustment mechanism M9 for adjusting the air flow rate in the passage M5, and an adjustment for fixedly controlling the idle speed control valve M6 at a predetermined opening when adjusting the rotational speed at the time of idling of the internal combustion engine M1 by the adjustment mechanism M9. In an idling engine speed adjusting device for an internal combustion engine comprising a time fixing control means M10,
A predetermined opening of the idle speed control valve M6 that can be fixedly controlled by the adjustment-time fixing control means M10 during the adjustment of the adjustment mechanism M9 is calculated by the feedback control means M8 before the adjustment of the adjustment mechanism M9. The gist is that the predetermined opening setting means M11 for setting based on the learned value is provided.
[0009]
According to the above configuration, the intake air amount during the operation of the internal combustion engine M1 is adjusted by opening and closing the throttle valve M3 provided in the intake passage M2 of the internal combustion engine M1. This adjustment basically adjusts the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine M1. An idle speed control valve M6 for adjusting the air flow rate in the passage M4 by opening and closing is provided in the middle of the main bypass passage M4 provided so as to bypass the throttle valve M3. Is adjusted, the amount of intake air at the time of idling and thus the rotational speed is adjusted. That is, the operating state of the internal combustion engine M1 is detected by the operating state detection means M7, and at least when the internal combustion engine M1 is idling, the learning opening degree of the idle speed control valve M6 is determined in the feedback control means M8 based on the detection result. The opening degree of the valve M6 is feedback controlled based on the calculated opening degree.
[0010]
An adjusting mechanism M9 is provided in the middle of the auxiliary bypass passage M5 provided so as to bypass the throttle valve M3. When adjusting the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine M1 during idling, the adjusting mechanism M9 is externally connected. Adjusted from. By this adjustment, the air flow rate of the auxiliary bypass passage M5 is adjusted, and consequently the rotational speed during idling is adjusted. Here, when the number of revolutions during idling of the internal combustion engine M1 is adjusted by the adjusting mechanism M9, the idle speed control valve M6 is fixedly controlled at a predetermined opening degree by the adjusting fixing control means M10. With this fixed control, a predetermined amount of air is introduced into the internal combustion engine M1, so that the workability of the adjustment work is improved.
[0011]
In the present invention, when the adjustment mechanism M9 is adjusted, the idle control that can be fixedly controlled by the adjustment-time fixed control means M10 based on the learning value calculated by the feedback control means M8 before the adjustment mechanism M9 is adjusted. The predetermined opening degree of the speed control valve M6 is set by the predetermined opening degree setting means M11. For this reason, even if sludge accumulates in the main bypass passage M4, the predetermined opening degree is set based on the learned value at the time of feedback control in consideration of the air flow, considering the accumulation. Therefore, a sufficient air flow rate is ensured when adjusting the adjusting mechanism M9.
