When the direction changeover switch 5 is turned on, the driving direction of the traveling drive motor M is reversed, the rotation direction of the wheels is reversed, and the traveling direction is switched back and forth. The wheel is driven from the travel drive motor M via the chain C1, the power is transmitted from the wheel to the torque keeper 4 via the chain C2, and the hose reel 7 is driven from the torque keeper 4 via the chain C4. The rotational speed of the hose reel 7 is changed by the torque keeper 4 according to the amount of the hose wound on the hose reel 7, An electric circuit for motor is provided with a motor current detection circuit Ca. When the detected current of the motor current detection circuit Ca exceeds a set value, an alarm is issued. Since it is configured to stop , the following effects can be obtained.
First, a motor current detection circuit Ca for the travel drive motor M is provided, and when the detected current is equal to or higher than a set value, an overload of the motor is quickly detected, and an alarm is issued based on the detected motor overload. It is possible to immediately perform operations such as deceleration control, and even if the operator cannot immediately perform such operations, the state where the detected current is higher than the set value continues for a certain period of time. For example, regardless of the quality of the fuse, the motor drive is stopped, the motor overload condition is eliminated, the worst motor seizure is avoided, and the motor is protected.
Second, in a self-propelled traveling device that is equipped with a power supply, such as an irrigation robot, and that is self-propelled by its driving force, the hose can be caught or tangled while the robot is unmanned, and the vehicle body can move. The direction change switch does not switch for some reason at the front and rear ends of the rail on which the wheel travels, and the vehicle body cannot move, and the drive motor continues to rotate under overload and seize. Often occurs.
The present invention makes it possible to prevent seizure due to overload of the travel drive motor.
