この発明は、盛土等に適用可能な大型の土嚢袋に関するものであり、全体として高い強度を持っているとともに、内部に投入する用土の状態を問わず使用することができるようにしたものである。なお、本出願で用土と称するものは、浚渫土砂,ヘドロ,建設残土など及びその用土を含むものである。さらに、この発明に係る土嚢袋を使用した土嚢の設置方法と盛土工法に関するものである。

すなわち、大型土嚢袋を盛土に適用するためには、袋全体として十分な強度を有するとともに、用土の水分が速やかに排出されるように袋の素材について配慮し、また設置後の転倒や崩壊を防ぐために隣接する土嚢どうしを簡単に結合することができるようにする必要がある。さらに、土嚢敷設時に隙間なく敷きつめられるようにするために、袋が中に入れた用土により膨らんだりせずに円筒形状を極力保つような構造にしておく必要がある。

【発明の実施の態様】
次に、この発明にかかる土嚢袋の一実施例を図1〜図3に基づいて述べる。
1は有底円筒状の袋体であり、底面中央部2及び側面下方部3は所望面積透水性を有する素材で形成してある。そして袋体1の他の部分4は非透水性の素材で形成してある。非透水性の素材としては例えば網地の材料などが使用できるが、その他袋体1全体をポリプロピレン製として底面中央部2と側面下方部3には防水処理をせず、他の部分4には防水処理をして非透水性となるようにしておいてもよい。また、非透水性素材で形成する箇所は図示した面積や箇所に限定されるものではなく、袋体1の下側から水分が外に速やかに排出できればよい。

次に、本発明の土嚢袋を利用した土嚢設置方法を図4及び図5に基づいて述べる。
上記した土嚢袋の投入口15を開いて中に適当な用土を入れる。土嚢袋内の排水についても考慮してあるので、含水率が高い場合も利用することができる。そして、土嚢袋内に土砂を入れ終ったら、絞り紐17を絞って投入口15を狭める。ここまでの作業は土嚢設置箇所において行ってもよいし、あるいはその他の場所で行ってもよい。

なお、図示した例では簡易壁として矢板21を打ち込む例を示したが、簡易壁は積んだ土嚢の外側の化粧的な意味もあり、上記したように土圧としては裏込め土22の土圧だけを受け止めることができればよいので、矢板のように地盤に打ち込んで構築するもののほか、例えば建築用コンクリート積ブロック等のようなものを積み上げて構築してもよい。なお、図6に示すように支柱19は使用しないで盛土することも可能である。
