本発明は、巻取ドラムへの、ハンドルの組付構造を改良した、散水ホース等用のホース巻取器に関する。

【従来の技術】
巻取ドラムを回転させるハンドル部分は、ドラムに対して嵌着式に組付けられる様にして置けば、保管・輸送に便利である。
そこで、例えば、図6,7に示した従来のホース巻取器は、ドラム51の軸心部に設けた円筒形の挿嵌孔52と、この孔に挿嵌させるハンドル61の回転軸62との夫々の摺接面に、複数条の係合用凹条53及び係合突条63を設けて、ハンドル61の空転を防いでいる。64は回転アームである。
そして、回転軸62を抜止するには、その先端に先拡がり状に設けた弾性変形可能な係止爪65が、回転軸62を挿嵌し終えた段階で、挿嵌孔52の奧端に設けた段差箇所54に引っ掛かる様にしている。
合成樹脂製のこのホース巻取器は、ハンドル61と、回転軸62とを個別に製作し、後で組合わせている。55はフレーム、55aは軸孔である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
然しながら、上記従来のホース巻取器は、ハンドル61の空転防止の為の係合構造が複雑な為、その分、部材の肉厚を増す必要がある。その結果、成形性が悪くなって寸法精度を出し難くなり、回転軸62の嵌合状態にガタが生じ勝ちになる。その上、製作費も嵩む。然も、挿嵌孔52に回転軸62を挿嵌する際に、先広がり状の係止爪65がスムーズな挿嵌操作を妨げて手こずる難点があった。更には、先端部に係止爪65を形成させる為の切欠部分が、成形寸法精度を出し難くするので、回転軸62の嵌合状態がキツ過ぎたり、逆に弱過ぎたりし勝ちになる。又、ハンドル61は、回転アーム64と回転軸62とを別体に作っているので、両者を廻り止め状態で組付ける等の為に、更に製作費が嵩むことになる。そこで、本発明は、購入者が簡便確実かつ安全に巻取ドラムにハンドルを組付けることができる経済的な合成樹脂製のホース巻取器を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するため、請求項1の発明のホース巻取器は次の手段を採った。すなわち、巻取ドラムの軸心部に設けた軸孔へ、回転アームを備えたハンドルの回転軸を購入者が組付けるようにしたホース巻取器において、該巻取ドラムの軸孔を多角形にするとともに奥部に段差状の凹入部5aを設け、該ハンドルの回転軸は、該多角形の軸孔に挿嵌可能な多角筒状で、その外周面の少なくとも1面における先端から幾分隔てた箇所に、該凹入部5aに係合して抜止する係合突部7を設け、先端部に切欠部を設けずに該係合突部7を設けた部分が撓み変形して該軸孔に挿嵌できるように、該係合突部7のある先端側部分を基端側部分より薄肉に形成したことを特徴としている。
また、請求項2の発明のホース巻取器は、巻取ドラムの軸心部に設けた軸孔へ、回転アームを備えたハンドルの回転軸を購入者が組付けるようにしたホース巻取器において、該巻取ドラムの軸孔を多角形にするとともに奥部に段差状の凹入部5aを設け、該ハンドルの回転軸は、該多角形の軸孔に挿嵌可能な多角筒状で、その外周面の少なくとも1面における先端から幾分隔てた箇所に、該凹入部5aに係合して抜止する係合突部7を設け、該係合突部7を設けた部分が撓み変形して該軸孔に挿嵌できるように、先端部に切欠部を設けずに該係合突部7を挟むようにして、2条の平行スリットを軸方向に設けたことを特徴としている。

【作用】
ホース巻取器のハンドルは購入者が巻取ドラムの軸心部に設けた軸孔に嵌着させるが、ハンドルの回転軸を多角形の軸孔に挿嵌可能な多角筒状としたので、ハンドルの空廻りを防ぐ係止手段を別個に設ける必要がなくなる。又、軸孔の奥部に設けた凹入部5aに係合する係合突部7は、回転軸の先端から幾分隔たった箇所に設けてあるので、回転軸の先端に膨出部を設けた従来のものとは異なって、軸孔への回転軸の挿嵌操作を、手こずること無く極めてスムーズに行える。そして、回転軸は、その先端部に切欠部を設けずに、請求項1では係合突部7を設けた先端側部分を基端側部分より薄肉にし、また、請求項2では、係合突部7を挟んで2条の平行スリットを設けることによって、回転軸4の挿嵌途中で係合突部7を設けた部分が撓み変形し易くなり、スムーズな挿嵌を行える。
すなわち、回転軸の先端部分に切欠部がなく、係合突部7が回転軸の先端から幾分隔たった箇所に設けてあるので、この先端部は、軸孔夫々の周面が全面接触した状態となり、挿嵌をガイドする。回転軸を押し込んで行くと係合突部7が、軸孔の孔縁部と干渉するが、このとき押込力を幾分強めることにより、係合突部7を設けた部分が撓んで容易に押し込むことができる。そして、係合突部7が凹入部5aに嵌まり込むと抜止状態になる。

以下に、図1,2及び図4,5を参照しながら本発明の一実施例を説明する。
図1に於いて、1はホース(図示略)を巻き取る巻取ドラムで、そのドラム軸2には、ハンドル3の回転軸4を挿嵌させる軸孔5を設けている。
この軸孔5の横断面は、正六角形に形成されており、軸孔5の奧端には、段差状の凹入部5aを周設している。

ハンドル3の回転アーム6は、複数列の縦リブ6aと複数列の横リブ6bとを、格子状に組合わせたハニカム様構造にすることによって、必要強度を確保しながら大幅に軽量化させている。

次に、上記構成の作用を説明する。
ホース巻取器は、その出荷時には、なるべく嵩張らない様に、ハンドル3は、巻取ドラム1から取外した状態で梱包される。
そこで、ホース巻取器の購入者は、梱包を解いたうえ、巻取ドラム1にハンドル3を組付ける必要がある。

これを行うには、ハンドル3の回転軸4を、巻取ドラム1の軸孔5に挿嵌させればよいが、その際、この先端部には、図6,7に示した従来技術のものとは異なって、挿嵌を妨げる突起部が全く存在しないし、切欠部も設けていないので、回転軸4と軸孔5との夫々の周面が全面接触した安定な状態で、極めてスムーズに挿嵌させることが出来る。

そして、回転軸4を軸孔5に更に押し込んで行くと、図1から理解される様に、係合突部7が、軸孔5の孔縁部と干渉することになる。

しかし、筒状の回転軸4は、係合突部7を設けた部分をかなり薄肉にしてあり、然も、係合突部7は楔形に形成してあるので、押込力を幾分強めるだけで、係合突部7を設けた部分が撓み変形し、引き続いて容易に押し込み続けることができる。そして、係合突部7が軸孔5の奥端近くに設けた凹入部5aに達すると、軸孔5の内壁面による押圧を解かれた係合突部7が凹入部5aに嵌まり込んで、回転軸4は巻取ドラム1に対して抜止された状態になる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明のホース巻取器は、巻取ドラムの軸孔を多角形にしてハンドルの回転軸を挿嵌可能な多角筒状とするとともに、先端から幾分隔てた箇所に抜止用の係合突部7を設け、先端部は切欠部のないものとして回転軸の先端側部分を薄肉に形成するか、或いは、係合突部7を挟む2条の平行スリットを軸方向に設けたので、冒頭で述べた従来技術のものに比べて、次のような優れた効果がある。
(a)巻取ドラムの軸孔に、ハンドルの回転軸を挿嵌させる際に、回転軸の先端部には、挿嵌を妨げる膨出部分や切欠部分が無いので、組付けが不慣れな購入者でも、容易に安全に組付けることができる。
(b) 巻取ドラムの軸孔に対する、ハンドルの回転軸の廻り止め構造は、互いに挿嵌される多角筒状の軸孔と回転軸との組合わせによっているので、構造の簡素化に加えて、構造強度を顕著に高められる。
