【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、カメラ一体型記録装置やカメラ一体型記録装置と写真機とを一体化した撮影装置に用いられる照明装置に関し、さらに詳しくは、静止画撮影時のストロボと動画撮影時のビデオライトとを1つのストロボライトで兼用し、撮影装置の簡素化を図るとともに、消費電力の低減を図り、安全性を向上させることが可能な照明装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、ビデオカメラと写真機を一体化した撮影装置において、写真撮影用のストロボをビデオカメラ撮影に対しても有効に活用することが提案されている。その一例が特開平6−233180号公報に開示されており、図5,図6に基づき概略を説明する。
図5は同公報にて開示された、ビデオカメラ(カメラ一体型記録装置)と写真機を一体化した撮影装置の外観を示す図であり、図6は撮影装置に内蔵したストロボのストロボ発光動作を説明する図である。

前述したストロボライト39は、図6のオートストロボ回路の発光動作にて、発光される。
図6において、45は被写体、46はストロボライト39で発光した光を受光するための受光センサ、47は受光センサ46からの光強度信号を積分して光量に換算したものと所定の値とを比較し、所定の値に達したらストロボ発光停止信号を発生する比較回路、48は比較回路47からのストロボ発光停止信号と、図示しないシステムコントローラからの信号とにより、ストロボライト39を発光させる発光回路である。

次に動作説明をする。ストロボライト39は被写体45に対し、ストロボ閃光を発光する。発光された光は受光センサ46にて受光され、受光された光は比較回路47に出力される。
比較回路47は、受光センサ46からの光強度信号を積分して光量に換算し、換算した光量と内部に備えた所定の値との比較を行う。そして、所定の受光量になるまではストロボ発光信号を出力し、所定の受光量になるとストロボ発光停止信号を出力する動作を行う。こうすることで、被写体45に対し常に一定の光量がストロボから発光されるよう制御する。ストロボ発光信号あるいはストロボ発光停止信号は次段の発光回路48へ出力される。

発光回路48には、図示しないシステムコントローラからの信号が入力され、前述したストロボ発光信号あるいはストロボ発光停止信号に応じて発光動作を行う。なお、システムコントローラからの信号は、ビデオ垂直同期信号と同じ周波数または、整数倍の周波数の信号であり、ストロボ発光は、ビデオ垂直同期信号またはビデオ垂直同期信号の整数倍の周波数に同期して連続発光される。こうして、ビデオライトと同じ効果がストロボで得られる。

以上のように、1つのストロボライトで写真撮影時のストロボと、動画撮影時のビデオライトを兼用した、ビデオカメラと写真機を一体化した撮影装置がある。なお、ストロボの単発発光の説明は省略する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の装置においては、1つのストロボライトで写真撮影時のストロボと、動画撮影時のビデオライトを兼用することで、別々にストロボライト及びビデオライトを備える必要がなくなり、装置の簡略化を図ることができる。
また、ビデオライトとしての使用時、ビデオ信号の垂直同期信号または垂直同期信号の整数倍の周波数に同期して連続発光させることで、消費電力の低減を図ることができる。

しかしながら、ビデオ信号の垂直同期信号または垂直同期信号の整数倍の周波数に同期して連続発光させ、消費電力の低減を図るだけでは、まだ、十分満足できる消費電力の低減といえず、電力消費によるバッテリ切れが発生するという問題があった。
また、連続発光によるストロボライト放電管の温度上昇については、対処されていなく、放電管の温度上昇により、ストロボライト放電管が溶解するという問題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、電荷を充放電する蓄電器と、該蓄電器の放電電荷にて発光し、被写体にストロボ閃光を照射するストロボライトと、前記蓄電器を充電する充電手段と、前記ストロボライトをビデオ信号の垂直同期信号または該垂直同期信号の整数倍の周波数信号に同期して単発光または連続発光させる制御部とを備え、静止画撮影時のストロボと動画撮影時のビデオライトとを兼用する照明装置であって、前記静止画撮影時の放電電荷量と、前記動画撮影時の放電電荷量とが異なる電荷量で放電することを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の一実施形態について、図1乃至図4に基づき以下説明する。
図1は、本発明のカメラ一体型記録装置やカメラ一体型記録装置と写真機とを一体化した撮影装置等に用いられる照明装置の第1実施例の構成を示す図、図2は、本発明の第2実施例の構成を示す図、図3は、本発明の第1実施例に関連する異なる実施例の構成を示す図、図4は、本発明の第2実施例に関連する異なる実施例の構成を示す図である。

図1において、本発明の第1実施例の照明装置は、暗雰囲気の撮影時、被写体に対しストロボ閃光を照射するストロボライト1(なお、ストロボライト1は放熱フィン1aを備える反射板1b及びストロボ放電管1cを備える。)、ストロボライト1近辺の周囲の温度を検出する温度センサ2、温度センサ2からの出力信号,ビデオ信号の垂直同期信号(V同期信号),モード信号,発光信号/停止信号が入力され後述する発光回路やスイッチに制御信号を出力する制御部3、制御部3からの制御信号にて切換えられるスイッチ4,スイッチ5、制御部3からの制御信号にて制御される充電手段となる発光回路6、発光回路6からの出力電圧にて充電されスイッチ4にて放電する蓄電器であるコンデンサ7、発光回路6からの出力電圧にて充電されスイッチ5にて放電する蓄電器であるコンデンサ8、及びコンデンサ7,8の充電状態を検出する充電検出回路9を備える。

次に動作説明をする。まず、電源スイッチ(図示せず)がオンされると、発光回路6には電源回路より例えば7.2Vの低電圧が入力され、昇圧トランス6aの一次側及び駆動回路6bに入力される。また、制御部3より制御信号C1が出力され、スイッチ6c,スイッチ6dはオンとなる。
昇圧トランス6aは駆動回路6bにて駆動され、2次側の出力に昇圧した電圧V1を出力する。出力された電圧は、スイッチ6c,スイッチ6dへ出力されるとともに、駆動回路6bにフィードバックされる。

次に、撮影時における暗雰囲気での照明装置の発光動作を説明する。まず、制御部3には、静止画撮影モードや動画撮影モードの撮影モードを示すモード信号及び垂直同期信号(V同期信号)が入力される。なお、モード信号は動画撮影モードを優先とし、撮影モードとした場合は、自動的に動画撮影モードのモード信号が入力される。

本発明のストロボライト1の反射板1bは、放熱フィン1aを有する反射板1bとし、放熱フィン1aにて放熱することで、ストロボ放電管1cの温度上昇を抑えている。更に、ストロボライト1の近辺には、例えばサーミスタ等を用いた温度センサ2が設けられている。
