Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an LPG fuel tank mounting structure for storing LPG gas for an LPG engine used in a truck vehicle or the like, and more particularly to an LPG fuel tank mounting structure for a truck that has a large mounting strength and can be fixed by a band. .
[0002]
[Prior art]
As shown in FIG. 9, in order to fix the fuel tank 30 for the diesel engine to the chassis frame 5 side, the outer surface of the tank body 31 of the fuel tank 30 is attached to the L-shaped bracket 6 fixed to the chassis frame 5 side. A method of abutting and fixing with the band 32 is employed. Examples of known techniques for fixing a fuel tank with a band include Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-32067, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-76843, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 6-45828, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 7-24622, and the like. It is done. In the case of this fuel tank 30, as shown in FIG. 8, a flexible piping structure such as a flexible hose 47 is used for the fuel piping 46 connected to the fuel tank 30.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of the LPG fuel tank 1a (FIG. 7) for storing LPG gas for the LPG engine, the piping structure uses a metal pipe 33 as shown in FIG. However, the flexible hose 47 (FIG. 8) used for connection in a gasoline or diesel vehicle is rarely used, the flexibility of piping is low, and the degree of freedom of installation is small. Therefore, the LPG fuel tank 1a needs to be accurately and reliably fixed to the chassis frame side, and the attachment structure by the band 32 used in the fuel tank 30 for gasoline cars and diesel cars shown in FIG. 9 is not used. Conventionally, a rigid mounting structure using bolts as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 has been adopted.
[0004]
FIG. 5 shows an outline of a truck chassis structure to which the LPG fuel tank 1a is attached. The LPG fuel tank 1a is attached to one side surface of the chassis frame 5 on which the LPG engine 34, the drive system 35, the cab 36 and the like are mounted. Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the LPG fuel tank 1a is attached via an L-shaped bracket 6a fixed to the chassis frame 5 side. The LPG fuel tank 1a includes a tank main body 2a for storing LPG gas, an upper bracket 3a fixed to the upper side of the tank main body 2a, a lower bracket 37 fixed to the lower side, and the like.
[0005]
As shown in FIG. 6, the L-shaped bracket 6a having a hat-shaped cross section has an upper mounting portion 8a formed on the upper side and a lower mounting portion 9a formed on the lower side. In the case of FIG. 6, the upper mounting portion 8 a is formed by a welding nut 38 into which the mounting plate 15 a and the bolt 39 are screwed, and the lower mounting portion 9 a is formed by a mounting hole 41 through which the bolt 40 is inserted. On the other hand, the upper bracket 3a includes a contact plate 19a that contacts the mounting plate 15a, a mounting hole 42 through which the bolt 39 is inserted, and a support plate 20a that connects the contact plate 19a and the tank body 2a. The lower bracket 37 includes a contact plate 43 that contacts the L-shaped bracket 6a, a welding nut 44, a support plate 45 that connects the contact plate 43 and the tank body 2a, and the like.
[0006]
In order to fix the LPG fuel tank 1a having the above structure to the L-shaped bracket 6a side, the LPG fuel tank 1a is suspended and supported by a suspension means (not shown), and the mounting hole 42 of the upper bracket 3a is attached to the upper side. The contact plate 19a of the upper bracket 3a is brought into contact with the mounting plate 15a of the upper mounting portion 8a while aligning the welding nut 38 of the portion 8a. At the same time, the welding nut 44 of the lower bracket 37 and the mounting hole 41 of the lower mounting portion 9a are aligned. In this state, the outer surface of the tank body 2a is first brought into contact with the L-shaped bracket 6a while fixing the upper bracket 3a and the upper mounting portion 8a of the L-shaped bracket 6a with the bolt 39. Next, the bolt 40 inserted through the attachment hole 41 of the lower attachment portion 9 a is tightened to the welding nut 44 of the lower bracket 37. Thus, the LPG fuel tank 1a is fixed to the side surface of the chassis frame 5.
[0007]
As described above, the LPG fuel tank 1a is fixed to the chassis frame 5 side. However, as is apparent from the above description, this mounting operation is extremely complicated, and the L-shaped bracket 6a and the like are also deformed. It is extremely difficult to align the attaching portion between the 1a side and the L-shaped bracket 6a, and the hand cannot be released from the tank body 2a or the like until the attachment is completed. Therefore, at least several workers are required, and the work of pressing down the tank body 2a and the like is required during the assembly, which increases the burden on the workers and the number of work steps. Further, the LPG fuel tank 1a is a heavy object, and much labor is required for its alignment, and there is a question about safety. In addition, there is a tendency to damage the bolts 39 and 40 and the screw threads of the welding nuts 38 and 44 during the mounting operation. When installing a small number of LPG fuel tanks 1a as a special order, the above problems are not particularly serious problems. However, at least when the LPG fuel tanks 1a are installed in a mass production line, the above problems are also in terms of improving work efficiency. It becomes a problem.
[0008]
The present invention was devised in view of the above circumstances, can be easily aligned and adjusted in posture, can improve work efficiency and safety, can be fixed by a band, and can be used in an existing diesel vehicle. An object of the present invention is to provide an LPG fuel tank mounting structure for trucks which can be unified with the fuel tank mounting structure and can improve mass productivity and assembly quality.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an outer surface of a tank body of a cylindrical LPG fuel tank on a contact surface of at least two L-shaped brackets fixed to a side surface of a chassis frame with an appropriate interval. The upper bracket fixed to the tank main body is engaged with the upper mounting portion provided at the upper end of the L-shaped bracket to support the tank main body, and the tank main body is fixed to the L-shaped An LPG fuel tank mounting structure that is fixed to a bracket side with a band, wherein a positioning pin is fixed to the upper mounting portion, and a positioning pin that fits to the positioning pin is mounted to an upper bracket of the tank body. A guide plate that abuts the hole and the abutment surface of the L-shaped bracket is provided, and the band has an upper end side of the L-shaped bracket that abuts the guide plate. And engaged with the portion of the contact surface is a bottom side constitutes a track for LPG fuel tank mounting structure for coupling fixed to the lower side of the L-shaped bracket. More specifically, the upper mounting portion is provided with a flat mounting plate that projects and fixes the positioning pin, and the upper bracket penetrates the positioning hole and contacts the mounting plate. A plate is fixed, and the guide plate is formed to abut and engage with the abutting surface of the L-shaped bracket in a state where the upper bracket is supported by the upper mounting portion via a positioning pin. It is characterized by that.
[0010]
Insert the positioning hole of the upper bracket of the LPG fuel tank into the positioning pin of the upper mounting portion of the L-shaped bracket, and position the guide plate of the upper bracket against the contact surface of the L-shaped bracket. regulate. Thus, the tank body is positioned and held on the L-shaped bracket side. In this state, the tank body is pushed to the L-shaped bracket side by engaging the upper end side of the band to the L-shaped bracket side and fastening the band by connecting and fixing the lower end side of the band to the L-shaped bracket side. The LPG fuel tank is simply and accurately fixed to the chassis frame side accurately and reliably.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a through hole 22 is formed in the guide plate 18, and a portion of the contact surface 14 of the bracket body 7 of the L-shaped bracket 6 that is opposite to the through hole 22 is formed. A large-diameter hole 23 and a long hole 24 connected to the large-diameter hole 23 are formed. The large-diameter hole 23 has a dimension that allows the head 28 of the locking means of the band 4 described later to be loosely inserted, and the width dimension of the long hole 24 is a shaft 29 having a smaller diameter than the head 28 of the locking means. It is almost equal to the dimension.
[0015]
The band 4 is made of a flexible member shown in FIG. 1 and the like, and includes a flexible plate portion 25 that comes into contact with the outer surface of the tank body 2, a bolt 26 that is one of the locking means fixed to the one end side, It consists of a screw part 27 and the like fixed to the other end side of the flexible plate part 25. The bolt 26 includes a head portion 28 and a shaft portion 29. As described above, the head portion 28 has a size to be inserted into the large-diameter hole 23 formed in the contact surface 14 of the bracket body 7. The shaft portion 29 is smaller in diameter than the head portion 28 and the large-diameter hole 23 and has a dimension substantially equal to the width dimension of the long hole 24. On the other hand, the threaded portion 27 has a size that can be inserted into the insertion hole 17 of the fastening plate 10 of the lower mounting portion 9, and a nut 27 </ b> A is screwed after insertion.
[0016]
Next, a method of attaching the LPG fuel tank 1 of the present invention to the L-shaped bracket 6 side will be described with reference to FIG. First, as shown in FIG. 4, an L-shaped bracket 6 is fixed to the chassis frame 5 in advance. The LPG fuel tank 1 is hung down by using a lifting tool (not shown), and the contact plate 19 of the upper bracket 3 is mounted on the mounting plate 15 of the upper mounting portion 8 of the L-shaped bracket 6 while positioning pins A positioning hole 21 is inserted into 16. Since the positioning pin 16 is formed with a taper 16 </ b> A, the positioning hole 21 is smoothly fitted into the positioning pin 16, and the contact plate 19 contacts the mounting plate 15. In this state, the guide plate 18 of the upper bracket 3 contacts the contact surface 14 of the U-shaped portion 13 of the L-shaped bracket 6. At the same time, a part of the outer surface of the tank main body 2 substantially contacts the contact surface 14 of the L-shaped bracket 6. As described above, the fuel tank 1 is positioned by the L-shaped bracket 6 and supported in a state in which the posture is regulated. Therefore, the hanging tool may be removed from the LPG fuel tank 1, and the fuel tank 1 is held in a predetermined posture even if the operator releases the hand from the fuel tank 1.
[0017]
Next, the head portion 28 of the bolt 26 on one end side of the band 4 is inserted into the large-diameter hole 23 of the U-shaped portion 13 of the L-shaped bracket 6 as shown in FIG. When moved, the shaft portion 29 of the bolt 26 is inserted into the elongated hole 24. Since the width dimension of the long hole 24 is smaller than the outer diameter of the head part 28, the head part 28 cannot come out from the long hole 24. Therefore, one end side of the band 4 is engaged with the L-shaped bracket 6 side through the head portion 28 of the bolt 26. In this state, the flexible plate portion 25 of the band 4 is brought into contact with the outer surface of the tank body 2, and the screw portion 27 on the lower end side is inserted into the insertion hole 17 of the fastening plate 10. The band 27 is pressed against the tank main body 2 by screwing the nut 27 </ b> A onto the screw portion 27 and tightening the nut 27 </ b> A, and presses the tank main body 2 against the contact surface 14 side of the L-shaped bracket 6. As described above, the LPG fuel tank 1 is fixed to the L-shaped bracket 6 as shown in FIG.
[0018]
Although tightening of the LPG fuel tank 1 only with the band 4 is impossible for the LPG fuel tank 1 as described above, in the present invention, the LPG fuel tank 1 is positioned and mounted before tightening with the band 4. Since the band 4 is only supplemented to maintain its position and posture, the LPG fuel tank 1 can be accurately and reliably fixed by fastening using the band 4. Further, as described above, it is not necessary for the operator to press down the LPG fuel tank 1 during the mounting operation, and the mounting can be performed by one worker. Further, the present invention does not have a bolt mounting structure as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, but can be mounted by a band in the same manner as a fuel tank of a diesel vehicle. It can also be applied to lines.
[0019]
In the above description, the shape, the mounting position, and the number of the positioning pins 16 are specified, but the present invention is not limited to this. Further, the locking structure of the band 4 to the L-shaped bracket 6 side may not be based on the engagement of the large diameter hole 23 or the long hole 24 and the bolt 26. Moreover, although the case where two L-shaped brackets 6 are provided has been described, three or more may be used. Further, nothing is interposed between the outer surface of the tank main body 2 and the contact surface 14 of the L-shaped bracket 6 in the above description, but an elastic flexible material such as a crushed rubber may be interposed.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
1) According to the truck LPG fuel tank mounting structure of the first and second aspects of the present invention, the mounting position of the LPG fuel tank is automatically positioned by the positioning pin, and the mounting posture is regulated by the guide plate. Therefore, operations such as positioning and fixing the mounting position by bolt tightening are not required as in the prior art, and manpower and work man-hours can be greatly reduced. In addition, since an attachment structure that is fixed by a band is adopted, it is possible to unify with the installation work of a fuel tank of an existing diesel vehicle, thereby simplifying the installation work, improving mass productivity, and improving assembly quality.
