【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、送風機を組付けた本体枠の前面に装着した化粧グリルが開閉動する換気装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
前面の化粧グリルが停止時には本体枠の前面を覆い、運転時には本体枠から離れて通風路を形成する換気装置は、化粧グリルにより容易に意匠性を高めることができ、送風機等が隠れているためインテリア性にも富み広く用いられている。従来のこの種の換気装置としては、例えば特開平8―128690号公報や実開昭59―72433号公報に示されているようなものがある。前者は図19に示すように、送風機40を有する本体41の前面に、開閉動するパネル42を備えたグリル枠43が装着されている。グリル枠43は中央に本体41に連通する通気口を有し、この通気口に蓋状にパネル42が装着されている。パネル42はグリル枠43に前後方向へ平行移動できるように組付けられ、通常はグリル枠43に密着し通気口を塞ぐ位置にバネにより付勢されている。グリル枠43の内側には駆動機44とこれによって回動するアーム45が設けられ、駆動機44によりアーム45が回動することにより、アーム45に押されバネの付勢に抗してパネル42がグリル枠43から離反し、通気口が開放するものである。後者は、図20に示すようにグリル枠43の前面にパネル42が回動可能に装着され、駆動機によって閉止状態からドアのようにパネル42が大きく開くように構成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来の換気装置において、前者は運転時においても内装部品を隠すことができ、外観性能が優れているが、大風量の処理が困難であり、低騒音化も図りにくいといった問題点がある。即ち、壁面に取付けて排気を行う換気装置には、送風機40に圧力が殆どかからない施工条件が主であり、一般に軸流ファンや斜流ファンが多く用いられているが、軸流ファンは大風量が得られ低騒音でもあるが、圧力に弱く、送風羽根の全面をパネル42で覆う構造では送風羽根に圧力がかかり、送風性能が悪化する。そのため上記した従来の換気装置では、送風羽根に少し圧力がかかる条件で中風量が得られ、騒音レベルも中程度の斜流ファンが採用されている。一方、後者の換気装置においても送風性能を確保するにはパネル42を大きく開かせなくてはならず、運転時の外観性能が大きく損なわれるといった問題点がある。

本発明は、係る従来の問題点を解決するためになされたものであって、その課題とするところは、運転、停止時の外観性能に優れた換気装置を得ることであり、運転、停止時の外観性能が優れ、大風量の処理ができる低騒音の換気装置を得ることであり、その換気装置の機能の向上や安定性を推進することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を達成するために請求項1の発明は、送風機を組付けた本体枠の吸込側となる前面に化粧グリルを装着した換気装置であって、その化粧グリル前面に開放部分を有し前記本体枠に装着されるグリル枠部と、このグリル枠部に一端側において枢支され、通常においてはグリル枠部の前面を被覆し、駆動手段による回動によって前記グリル枠部の前面との間に前記本体枠の吸込口に連通する通風空間を形成する可動パネル部とにより構成され、そのグリル枠部、可動パネル部の枢支側の本体枠の前面に対する離反距離の方が反枢支側の本体枠の前面に対する離反距離より大きく構成され、前記グリル枠部の開放部分が前記本体枠内の送風機の羽根に対して反枢支側が枢支側より近づくように傾斜する手段を採用する。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1〜図18によって示す本実施の形態は、図1〜図3に示すように送風機1を組付けた風洞を構成する本体枠2の吸込側となる前面に化粧グリル3を着脱可能に装着した換気装置に関するものである。送風機1は電動機4に軸流式の送風羽根5を着脱可能に装着して構成され、本体枠2前面のベルマウスをなす吸込口6から本体枠2の後部の排気口へ向かう換気流を形成する。化粧グリル3は、本体枠2に着脱可能に装着される前面の開放したグリル枠部7と、グリル枠部7の下端側において枢支され、通常においてはグリル枠部7の前面を被覆し、駆動手段による回動によってグリル枠部7の外周部に図1に示すような略扇形の通風空間8を形成する可動パネル部9とにより構成され、本体枠2の前面全体を覆い換気装置の前面の意匠を構成している。

グリル枠部7は、本体枠2の周側に嵌合する立上り部10に続く前面部を備えたプラスチックよりなる枠構造体で、前面部の下縁部11は、図4に示すように部分的に前方に突出していてその段差部12に可動パネル部9を枢支するためのスリット状の挿入口13が間隔をもって下向きに形成されている。グリル枠部7の立上り部10は可動パネル部9を枢支する側の下部が最も高く構成され、反枢支側である上部に向かって円弧をなして高さが漸減している。従って、グリル枠部7の前面部と本体枠2の前面との離反距離は、可動パネル部9を枢支する枢支側が大きく反枢支側に向かって漸減している。グリル枠部7の下縁部11に続く立上り部10を除く他の立上り部10には可動パネル部9の周側部が外側から嵌る段差14が形成され、この段差14を持つ立上り部10に続く両側縁部15と上縁部16と下縁部11によりグリル枠部7の前面部が形成されている。この前面部に囲まれる開放部分は、本体枠2の送風羽根5の臨む吸込口6に連通し、その口縁は図5に示すように吸込み性能を向上させるべくR形状17に構成されている。

可動パネル部9は、グリル枠部7の下縁部11を除く前面部全体を被覆する形状を備え、グリル枠部7に倣って図1,2に示すように円弧状に形成されている。可動パネル部9の下端縁には、図6に示すようにグリル枠部7の挿入口13に遊嵌できる支持突縁18が突出して形成され、この支持突縁18を挿入口13に差込むことにより、支持突縁18を支点として可動パネル部9が図7,8に示すように回動可能に枢支される。支持突縁18の端には挿入口13の口縁に掛止まるフック部19を備えた回動規定突起20が形成されていて、可動パネル部9の挿入口13からの抜止めと、挿入口13口縁への当接により可動パネル部9の回動範囲が限定されている(図7,8参照)。可動パネル部9の背面とグリル枠部7の前面との間には弾性部材としてのバネ21が掛け渡され、このバネ21によって可動パネル部9はグリル枠部7の前面部に密着する状態に付勢されている。グリル枠部7に密着した状態の可動パネル部9の前面とグリル枠部7の下縁部11とは図2に示すように段差なく連続した曲面を構成し、停止時の換気装置の前面意匠を構成している。このような可動パネル部9の枢支構造を採用することにより、ピン等による構造より製造が容易であり、破損も少なく機能の安定性を確保することができ、万が一、バネ21の掛着部等の破損が生じても、回動規定突起20のフック部19により可動パネル部9がグリル枠部7から外れ落下してしまうようなこともない。

駆動手段は、駆動機22と、伝達機構とクランク23とにより構成され何れもグリル枠部7の可動パネル部9の枢支側に配設されている。駆動機22は図3に示すようにグリル枠部7の下部一側寄りに取付けられ、備え付けられている伝達機構を構成するワイヤ24を巻き取り、また繰り出すことができる。クランク23は略M型に構成され、グリル枠部7の前面における開放部の中央直下に両端が支持構造25により回動可能に支持されている(図9,10,11参照)。支持構造にはクランク23の必要以上の回動を規制する回動規制突起26が図10,11に示すように形成されている。この回動規制突起26により、清掃時等に化粧グリル3を本体枠2から外し、可動パネル部9を外してもクランク23は回動規制突起26により自由回動が拘束され、化粧グリル3の再組付け時には必ず元の状態に戻ることになり、メンテナンス性が向上する。

クランク23の中央の凹状部分には図9に示すように駆動機22からのワイヤ24の端が連結具27により連結されている。ワイヤ24はクランク23の下方に設けられたプーリ28に掛装され、巻き取りによる引っ張り方向がプーリ28によって略90度変えられるようになっている。クランク23には板状の整流板29が図9に示すように嵌め装着されている。この整流板29はクランク23の両端縁を差込み固定する係合片30と差込み深さを規定するストッパ31と中央にワイヤ24のクランク23との連結部の連結具27を係合させる係合孔32とを備えていて、ワイヤ24の連結部の移動を規制する機能も果たしている。

クランク23と整流板29とは、可動パネル部9を閉じ状態に付勢しているバネ21の力を可動パネル部9の背面を介して受け、通常においては起立状態になっている。このクランク23の当る可動パネル部9の背面には、図11に示すように枢支側に下傾する傾斜面33付きのクランク摺動部34が設けられている。そして、クランク摺動部34を除く可動パネル部9の背面には、クッション材35が貼設され、結露の防止と可動パネル部9の閉止時のグリル枠部7への衝突音の発生が防止されている。可動パネル部9の回動量は、クランク23の回動量に寄与するため駆動機22の誤差や部品組立て時の誤差により可動パネル部9の回動量にばらつきが生じ易いが、クランク摺動部34に傾斜面33を構成することにより、クランク23の回動量が変化しても可動パネル部9の回動量を略一定にすることができ、品質の安定性を高めることができる。

上記のような構成の本実施の形態の換気装置は、通常は可動パネル部9がグリル枠部7の前面に密着して可動パネル部9の枢支側から可動側に向かって厚みが漸減する意匠を構成しており、壁面からの突出量も少なくインテリア性の高い外観性能を示している。勿論、本体枠2側は化粧グリル3で総て隠されており、クッション材35により可動パネル部9とグリル枠部7との間の気密も保持され、外気の侵入も防止されている。この状態では、枢支部分の挿入口13も支持突縁18が起立して塞いでおり、挿入口13からの外気の室内側への侵入も防止されている。このように可動パネル部9は外観性能を向上させるばかりでなく、停止時の外気(冷気)の侵入を防ぐシャッター機能も果たしている。

換気装置に電源が供給されると送風機1が運転し、これとともに駆動機22がワイヤ24を巻き取り始め、クランク23を回動させる。クランク23は可動パネル部9のクランク摺動部34を摺動していき、可動パネル部9の背面を押圧し、バネ21の付勢に抗して可動パネル部9を回動させ、図1に示すように大きくない所定の角度に開かせる。この時、クランク23の当り面はクランク摺動部34の傾斜面33であるため、回動によっても押圧力は安定して可動パネル部9に作用する。これにより、グリル枠部7の側部と可動パネル部9の側部との間に略扇形の通風空間8が形出され、ここから室内の空気が本体枠2に吸込まれていき、本体枠2の後端から室外へ排気される。この運転状態においても送風機1の送風羽根5等は可動パネル部9で隠されていて、斜めの状態にあった可動パネル部9が起立よりやや倒伏した状態に開くため、化粧グリル3のフラット感が得られインテリア性も外観性能も良好に維持される。運転状態において電源の供給が断たれると、送風機1は停止し駆動機22の巻き取り力もフリーになり、バネ21の付勢により可動パネル部9が回動し、初期の閉状態に戻る。この時、クッション材35においてグリル枠部7に当るので、衝突音も殆どしない。

化粧グリル3は可動パネル部9を回動させ開閉する構成であるため、換気装置の標準施工状態である可動パネル部9の枢支側を下、可動側を上にして施工してあれば、換気装置の運転停止時に外気(冷気)が可動パネル部9とグリル枠部7の合わせ面よりたとえ漏れたとしても、人が居る化粧グリル3の下の床側には外気が直接流れることはなく、天井側に流れるため外気侵入による不快感を低減できる。また、可動パネル部9を回動させる駆動機22やプーリ28、クランク23等を枢支側に集約して配設してあるため、可動側の厚さが最も薄くなり、インテリア性に優れ、略扇形の通風空間8も広い特性の良好な換気装置となる。

送風羽根5の中心位置は本体枠2の中心より可動パネル部9の可動側に偏心した位置になっているので、グリル枠部7の厚みが薄い部分から効率よく送風羽根5に空気を吸い込ませることができ、この点でも良好な特性を得ることができる。可動パネル部9の背面のクッション材35は衝突音を軽減する機能とともに、外気温度が低くなった場合の可動パネル部9表面での結露の発生を防止する機能も果たす。

図12〜図15によって本実施の形態の換気装置Aと、他の代表的な構成と思われる可動パネル構造36を備えた換気装置B,Cを例示して特性について説明する。図12は本実施の形態の換気装置Aであり、図13は化粧グリル枠の厚みが一定厚で、フラットな可動パネル構造36を備えた換気装置Bであり、図14は化粧グリル枠の厚みが一定厚で、可動パネル構造36が平行移動する換気装置Cである。図12,13,14における二本の矢印は、いずれも送風羽根5に対する直線的な吸込流の範囲を示している。換気装置Cでは、送風羽根5に効率良く空気が吸込まれないため、排気風量が確保できなくなる圧力点が非常に低い。換気装置Bでは、換気装置Cよりも特性は良いものの、送風羽根5の正面から吸込める極一般的な換気装置と比較すると特性は劣る。換気装置Aでは、吸込流が広範囲に確保でき、送風羽根5に対する抵抗(圧力)が低くなり優れた特性が得られる。換気装置Aと換気装置Bとの通風空間8である側面開口面積を比較しても、図12,13の図中に付随して示すように前者の方が1.5倍ほど広く確保することができる。送風特性を示した図15でもわかるように換気装置Aは、正面から吸込める換気装置(図15にDで示す)に近い特性が得られており、非常に効率良く送風羽根5に吸込まれることになる。

次に、可動パネル部9の枢支側にある整流板29について説明する。整流板29がないと、流速の高い空気が送風羽根5に吸込まれず、図16に示すように可動パネル部9の枢支側に渦が発生し、騒音値が高くなる。整流板29があると渦の発生が抑制され図17に示すように空気を効率良く送風羽根5に吸込ませることができ、換気装置の低騒音化が推進できる。開放風量60m3 /h程度を処理する場合、騒音値を約1デシベル程は低下できる。
