【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
In the present invention, in order to perpetuate the collection performance of a filter that collects particulates (particulate matter) contained in exhaust gas discharged from a diesel engine (internal combustion engine), the particulates collected by the filter are used. The present invention relates to a filter regeneration device for an internal combustion engine that removes by heating and combustion and regenerates the collection performance of the filter, and more specifically, relates to a configuration for purifying exhaust gas generated during regeneration of the filter.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Diesel engines have the characteristics of higher combustion efficiency and superior durability than gasoline engines, but have the disadvantage of discharging a lot of air pollutants. Exhaust gas emitted by diesel engines contains nitrogen oxides and particulates that are considered to be the main cause of respiratory diseases, and exhaust gas regulations are being strengthened. Particulates mainly consist of three types: SOF (Soluble Organic Fraction), soot, and sulfur compounds. As a method of treating this particulate in the exhaust system, a method of collecting particulates using a filter is also available. As a method of regenerating the trapping performance, a method of burning and removing particulates in a filter has become the mainstream.
[0003]
It is known that the particulates burn from about 600 ° C., and a microwave heating method or the like is considered as an energy generating means for raising the temperature of the particulates to this high temperature range.
[0004]
The region where the particulates are strongly dielectrically heated is on the exhaust gas inflow side of the filter, but the air in the vicinity of the filter end surface is difficult to be heated with respect to the temperature inside the filter. It is difficult to raise the temperature of the accumulated particulates to a temperature range in which the particulates can shift to the combustion state. This suggests that it is difficult to burn and remove particulates accumulated on the exhaust gas inflow side of the filter, and this causes accumulation of particulates on the upstream side of the exhaust gas of the filter. As a result, the exhaust gas flow may be hindered and the engine may malfunction.
[0005]
For this reason, a regenerator that burns and removes particulates collected by a filter in a direction opposite to the exhaust gas flow direction by a microwave heating method has become known.
[0006]
As the reproducing apparatus, there is, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-353207, and FIG. In FIG. 6, 4 is a heating space, 5 is a filter, 28 is a microwave generation means, and 32 is a gas supply means.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the regenerator in the above-mentioned known example is mainly composed of means for effectively removing particulates accumulated on the upstream end face of the exhaust gas. Naturally, the exhaust gas generated during the regeneration of the filter, so-called white smoke or There was no disclosure of secondary pollution measures such as odor.
[0008]
The present invention provides a configuration for purifying exhaust gas generated during regeneration of a filter, in addition to the above-described known example, that is, a regeneration device that burns and removes particulates collected by a filter in a direction opposite to the exhaust gas flow direction. For the purpose.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a filter regeneration device for an internal combustion engine of the present invention has the following configuration.
[0010]
That is, in an apparatus for combusting and regenerating a filter collecting particulates in a direction opposite to the exhaust gas flow direction, a heating space having an exhaust inlet pipe connecting an exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine is formed upstream of the filter. An annular waveguide having an exhaust outlet pipe that opens an outlet to the atmosphere is formed on the downstream side of the filter, and the exhaust branch pipe bypassing the exhaust outlet pipe is connected to the exhaust branch. Exhaust gas purification means for filter regeneration is arranged on the exhaust inlet pipe side of the pipe .
[0011]
Further, the exhaust gas purification means is arranged in the space around the exhaust inlet pipe, and the inlet side of the purification case holding the exhaust gas purification means is directly connected to the exhaust inlet pipe.
[0012]
Further, the exhaust gas purifying means is arranged in a plane substantially in the projection plane of the heating space.
[0013]
[Action]
The present invention has the following effects by the above-described configuration.
[0014]
That is, the filter regeneration device for an internal combustion engine of the present invention has an exhaust gas purifying means in a part of an exhaust gas exhaust path that bypasses an exhaust inlet pipe and an exhaust outlet pipe, in other words, an exhaust gas exhaust path that is generated when the filter is regenerated. By disposing the exhaust gas, the exhaust gas can be purified, and the effect can be exerted particularly on a forklift used in a factory where the exhaust gas is easily filled.
[0015]
In addition, the exhaust gas purifying means is arranged near the exhaust inlet pipe of the exhaust branch pipe, so that it quickly responds to the preheating and combustion heat of the filter at the time of regeneration and has an immediately stable purification performance. Can be obtained.
[0016]
Further, the exhaust gas purifying means is disposed in the space around the exhaust inlet pipe, and further, the temperature rise responsiveness is further improved by directly connecting the inlet side of the purification case holding the exhaust gas purifying means to the exhaust inlet pipe. Can be improved.
[0017]
Further, the exhaust gas purification means is disposed in a plane substantially in the projection plane of the heating space, so that the heat shield cover that covers the high temperature part of the regenerator is also minimized without being influenced by the exhaust gas purification means. Can be covered by size.

[0038]
(1) By disposing the exhaust gas purification means on the exhaust inlet pipe side of the exhaust branch pipe that bypasses the exhaust inlet pipe and the exhaust outlet pipe, that is, the exhaust branch pipe of the exhaust gas generated when the filter is regenerated, The exhaust gas can be purified, and the effect can be exerted particularly on a forklift used in a factory where the exhaust gas is easily filled.
