Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a film forming mask apparatus for forming an electrode material on a crystal piece, a ceramic piece or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, when physical vapor deposition of a metal material for an electrode is performed in an electrode forming process of a crystal resonator, an electrode is formed on a necessary part of a crystal piece by a vacuum vapor deposition method or a sputtering method using a mechanical mask device. . In this vapor deposition method using a mechanical mask device, a plurality of masks such as spacers for storing crystal pieces, upper and lower mask plates, and other auxiliary jigs are stacked and integrated by screwing or magnetic force. It was common to use.
[0003]
The reason why the mask plate or the like is used in such a state that it can be divided is that it is necessary to peel and remove the deposited electrode material (silver, gold, aluminum, etc.) adhered between the upper and lower mask plates and the spacer. is there. This peeling and removing operation is performed by immersing in a specific cleaning solution. And before performing the said electrode formation process, plate bodies, such as a plurality of masks, such as the said spacer, an upper and lower mask board, and another auxiliary jig, are piled up and integrated again.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the configuration in which the three elements of the spacer, the upper mask, and the lower mask are assembled, a gap is formed between the mask and the spacer. For this reason, when a thin crystal piece for high frequency is used, the crystal piece may enter the gap and mask displacement may occur. For example, taking an AT-cut crystal piece as an example, a crystal piece with a fundamental wave oscillation of 45 MHz or more (frequency (KHz) = 1660 / crystal plate thickness (mm) is calculated based on a crystal piece of about 0.036 mm or less, In the case of a crystal piece with a fundamental frequency of 100 MHz, a large number of problems such as entering the gap between the mask and the spacer occurred at 0.0166 mm).
[0005]
Then, due to the mask displacement, the electrode deposited on the crystal piece is displaced, which causes a defect in electrical characteristics such as an appearance defect, insulation defect and disconnection defect of the crystal piece.
[0006]
Conventionally, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application No. 10-376877, a housing recess and a lower mask are formed by half etching or the like, and a lower mask and a spacer are integrally formed as a configuration for solving these problems. Things have been proposed. However, even such a configuration has the following problems.
[0007]
When the quartz recess is packed into the storage recess with tweezers or the like, in the storage recess formed by half etching, the corner of the edge of the opening of the storage recess and the corner of the edge of the bottom of the storage recess are rounded. It is often formed in a tinged state (R portion), and the storage state of the film formation target is difficult to recognize. That is, even if the crystal piece is housed deeply in the R portion, it may be erroneously recognized as being contained in the housing recess. In particular, in the housing recess of a mask used for a high-frequency thin crystal piece, the bottom of the recess is shallow and the recognizability is extremely low. Accordingly, the crystal piece is easily squeezed from the storage recess, and mask displacement may occur.
[0008]
The present invention prevents the thin film-formed product from entering the gap between the mask and the spacer, enhances the recognition of the state of the film-formed product to be stored in the film-formation mask device, and causes poor insulation due to mask misalignment. Another object of the present invention is to provide a film forming mask apparatus with high workability and high reliability, which can eliminate the disconnection failure and can perform accurate mask alignment.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a film forming mask apparatus according to the present invention is arranged in close contact with a spacer having a storage hole portion for storing a plurality of film formation target bodies, and a lower surface of the spacer, and the storage hole A lower mask in which a lower mask pattern for film formation is formed in a portion corresponding to the portion, and an upper mask pattern for film formation is formed in a portion corresponding to the storage hole, and is closely arranged on the upper surface of the spacer A film forming mask apparatus comprising at least a formed upper mask, wherein the lower mask and the upper mask correspond to a formation position of an accommodation hole portion of the spacer, and the film formation target body And a convex portion formed by positioning toward the center of the storage hole.
[0010]
With the above configuration, each mask is provided with a convex portion that corresponds to the formation position of the storage hole portion of the spacer and that positions the film formation target toward the center of the storage hole portion. As a result, the edge of the film formation target body does not come into contact with the gap formed by the spacer and each mask. In addition, the film formation target is positioned near the center of the storage hole by the convex portions of the upper and lower masks, and the film formation target is kept inside the storage hole. There is no need to move to a gap formed by each mask. Therefore, the film formation target does not enter the gap.
[0011]
In addition, since the storage hole portion of the spacer is processed as a through-hole portion that does not have a bottom surface, the corner of the edge portion of the opening portion of the storage hole portion is easily rounded. In addition, it can be formed thicker than the thickness of the film formation target. Therefore, the recognizability of the storage state is remarkably improved when the film forming object is packed with tweezers or the like. For this reason, it is possible to prevent the film formation target from being packed and to eliminate the mask displacement.
[0012]
As described above, mask displacement does not occur, and the film deposited on the film formation target body is not displaced. In particular, in a film forming mask apparatus used for forming electrodes such as a crystal resonator, an electrode formed on a crystal piece is not displaced, thereby causing no insulation failure or disconnection failure.
[0013]
In addition, the lower mask and a part of the convex part of the upper mask are configured to contact each other at a part of the edge of the storage hole of the spacer.
[0014]
According to the above configuration, in addition to the above-described effects, a portion of the convex portion of the upper mask is configured to come into contact with a portion of the edge of the storage concave portion of the lower mask. The housing recess functions as positioning of the upper mask and the lower mask.
[0015]
Therefore, since the mask pattern of the lower mask and the mask pattern of the upper mask can be easily overlapped without shifting, the assembling work of the film forming mask apparatus is facilitated, and the upper and lower mask patterns are shifted. There is no deviation of the film deposited on the film forming body. In particular, in a film forming mask apparatus used for forming electrodes such as a crystal resonator, an electrode formed on a crystal piece is not displaced, thereby causing no insulation failure or disconnection failure.
[0016]
Moreover, the convex part of the said lower mask and the said upper mask is comprised by forming thin thickness except the convex part of the said mask by half etching, It is characterized by the above-mentioned.
[0017]
According to the said structure, in addition to the said effect, the said convex part can be comprised with an inexpensive and high precision.
[0018]

Then, by performing physical vapor deposition with such a film formation mask device by a vacuum vapor deposition method, a sputtering method or the like, a film formation body (crystal piece) having a desired film formation pattern can be obtained.
[0033]
In addition, the depth dimension of the accommodation hole part of the spacer in the said Example is substantially equal to the sum of the thickness dimension of the said crystal piece (film-forming formation object), and the height dimension of the convex part of each said mask, or the said dimension Slightly smaller than the sum of these is preferable in terms of preventing displacement in the thickness direction of the crystal piece. In each of the above embodiments, the film formation target is a crystal piece, and a crystal resonator and a crystal filter are described as examples. However, a piezoelectric resonator using ceramic or the like may be used, and an electrode of an electronic component The present invention can also be applied to various film forming bodies such as forming.
[0034]
【The invention's effect】
According to
[0035]
In addition, since the storage hole portion of the spacer is processed as a through-hole portion that does not have a bottom surface, the corner of the edge portion of the opening portion of the storage hole portion is easily rounded. In addition, it can be formed thicker than the thickness of the film formation target. Therefore, the recognizability of the storage state is remarkably improved when the film forming object is packed with tweezers or the like. For this reason, it is possible to prevent the film formation target from being packed and to eliminate the mask displacement.
[0036]
As described above, mask displacement does not occur, and the film deposited on the film formation target body is not displaced. In particular, in a film forming mask apparatus used for forming electrodes such as a crystal resonator, an electrode formed on a crystal piece is not displaced, thereby causing no insulation failure or disconnection failure.
[0037]
According to
[0038]
Therefore, since the mask pattern of the lower mask and the mask pattern of the upper mask can be easily overlapped without shifting, the assembling work of the film forming mask apparatus is facilitated, and the upper and lower mask patterns are shifted. There is no deviation of the film deposited on the film forming body. In particular, in a film forming mask apparatus used for forming electrodes such as a crystal resonator, an electrode formed on a crystal piece is not displaced, thereby causing no insulation failure or disconnection failure.
[0039]
According to the third aspect, in addition to the above-described effects, the convex portion can be configured with low accuracy and high accuracy.
[0040]
As described above, according to the present invention, the thin film formation object can be prevented from entering the gap between the mask and the spacer, and the film formation mask device can be more easily recognized in the film formation mask device. It is possible to provide a film forming mask apparatus with high workability and high reliability, which eliminates defects in electrical characteristics such as appearance defects, insulation defects and disconnection defects due to displacement, and enables accurate mask alignment. .
