BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a transmission terminal storage unit in which at least two transmission terminals, a TV transmission terminal capable of receiving TV signals and a bidirectional transmission terminal for connecting to a computer network, can be arranged on a wall surface.
Such a wall storage unit is useful for a cable TV receiver who can use the Internet, or a LAN (eg, Ethernet) user in an apartment house.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 16 and FIG. 17 are perspective views illustrating the usage state of a conventional transmission terminal wall surface arrangement unit (outlet). In these drawings, a TV signal receiving

Further, when the
[0005]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to realize a transmission terminal wall surface arrangement unit (outlet) that has a small protrusion width from the wall surface and is difficult to be “tampered”. It is.
A further object of the present invention is to facilitate the construction of a LAN in a residence, a building, a facility, an apartment house, etc. where a TV hearing system is constructed by improving the structure of the transmission terminal wall arrangement unit, or It is to make it cheaper.
[0006]
A further object of the present invention is to improve the physical or logical structure of the transmission terminal wall arrangement unit, so that the LAN in a residence, building, facility, apartment house, etc. in which the CATV system is constructed. (Ethernet etc.) and WAN (CATV Internet connection service etc.) should be provided easily, inexpensively, reliably, or with high quality.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problem, Action, and Effect of the Invention]
In order to solve the above problems, the following means are effective.
That is, the first means is a transmission terminal in-wall storage unit in which at least two transmission terminals of a TV transmission terminal capable of receiving a TV signal and a bidirectional transmission terminal for connecting to a computer network can be arranged on the wall surface. A TV terminal block for holding a TV transmission terminal and a computer connection unit having a bidirectional transmission terminal, and by connecting a portion of the computer connection unit obliquely from the wall surface when the bidirectional transmission terminal is connected. The transmission terminal can be connected to a computerThe
[0008]
However, the protrusion from the wall surface of a part of the computer connection unit may be a protrusion only when the connection operation of the bidirectional transmission terminal is performed, and is continuously continued during the period of using the bidirectional transmission terminal. It may be a continuous or intermittent protrusion. Alternatively, it may be a permanent protrusion fixed at the time of installation work of the above-mentioned transmission terminal wall surface arrangement unit. That is, a part of the computer connection unit protrudes from the wall surface at least during the connection operation of the bidirectional transmission terminal.
[0009]
The TV transmission terminal capable of receiving the TV signal may be a one-way transmission terminal or a bidirectional transmission terminal. For example, in a CATV contract household or the like, a set-top box or the like is installed in the TV receiver and may be used interactively. For example, in such a case, the downlink transmission path is used for, for example, “distribution of TV signals, data transmission such as the Internet to contract households”, and the uplink transmission path is, for example, “set-top box status information transmission”. And may be used for data transmission on the Internet or the like.
[0010]
Such first meansConfigurationAccording to the above, since the other part of the computer connection unit always remains arranged in the wall, it is possible to constitute an in-wall storage unit of the transmission terminal with a small amount of protrusion from the wall surface. Therefore, it is possible to configure an intra-wall storage unit that is less likely to collide with people or objects than in the past.
[0011]
In addition, when a part of the computer connection unit is protruded with an inclination from the wall surface, the front side (front surface) of the computer connection unit that is always exposed to the front surface of the in-wall storage unit is defined as the inclined surface of the above-mentioned inclination. By providing the bidirectional transmission terminal at a portion other than the inclined surface, the bidirectional transmission terminal can be disposed at a position where it is relatively difficult to see. As a result, it is possible to configure a wall storage unit that is not easily “mischievous”.
[0012]
In addition, if such a wall storage unit is used, a TV (TV) or CATV (cable TV) co-listening system can be used in an existing apartment house or the like by using an outlet for an existing TV terminal, and a simple facility. By construction, a LAN can be constructed at a low cost in a short time.
[0013]
Furthermore, it has a computer signal / TV signal separation device having a communication mode switching device and a termination device for selecting an upstream signal from a TV transmission terminal and a bidirectional transmission terminal. The computer signal / TV signal separating apparatus includes a first duplexer that demultiplexes into a high group side and a low group side, a branching device connected to the high group side of the first duplexer, and two branching devices. The high group side is connected to each of the two outputs, and has two second duplexers respectively connected to the TV transmission terminal and the bidirectional transmission terminal. The communication mode switching device switches and connects one of the low-group side of the first duplexer and the termination device to the low-group side of the two second duplexers. With this configuration and the switching device, a terminal capable of bidirectional transmission can be switched between the TV transmission terminal and the bidirectional transmission terminal.
[0014]
Furthermore,A rotating body having a rotating shaft substantially parallel to the wall surface in the vicinity of the wall surface and a support member that rotatably supports the rotating body are provided, and at least a part of the rotating body is configured by a computer connection unit. When the bidirectional transmission terminal is not connected, the entire rotating body is stored in the wall by rotating. The
[0015]
However, after the connection operation of the bidirectional transmission terminal is completed, the entire rotating body may be accommodated in the wall by the rotation. For example, such a configuration can be implemented by providing a hole or a gap through which a computer connection cable is passed on the inclined surface (front side) of the computer connection unit.
[0016]
According to these configurations, at least when the computer (bidirectional transmission terminal) is not used, the computer connection unit can hardly protrude from the wall surface, so that the computer connection unit may collide with a person or an object. It can be reduced sufficiently.
[0017]
In addition, if a hole or gap for passing a cable as described above is provided on the inclined surface of the computer connection unit, almost the entire rotating body can be accommodated in the wall by rotation, so the computer (bidirectional transmission terminal) It is possible to eliminate the protrusion of the computer connection unit during use.
[0018]
Further, if a communication mode switching device is provided in the wall storage unit, it is possible to switch the setting (communication mode) as to what information device is connected to which transmission terminal.
Therefore, by these means, it is possible or easy to make the transmission terminal in-wall storage unit and the home network multifunctional.
[0019]
Also,The function of the protector can be added to the wall storage unit of the transmission terminal, or the noise on the computer network can be reduced.
[0020]
If a branching device or a distributor is provided, it becomes easy to arrange (wire) the storage units in the wall of the transmission terminal in series or in parallel, particularly in an apartment house or a building.
[0021]
Also,Second meansIsWith amplifierPower input connectorIs provided.
If a power input connector is provided, a device that consumes electric power, such as a booster, can be built in the wall storage unit of the transmission terminal.
[0022]
Also,Third meansIn the first means, the computer connection unit mutually converts or modulates / modulates a baseband signal of a network and a signal of a predetermined broadband communication format.Cable modemOr a hub is provided. That is, the above computer connection unit may include not only the bidirectional transmission terminal but also these devices.
[0023]
It is sufficient that these devices are provided in the above-described wall storage unit, and it is not always necessary to mount them inside the computer connection unit.Third meansAccording to FIG. 16, for example, there is no device installed later on the wall as illustrated in FIG.
[0024]
Also, the frequency converter is useful when demodulating a signal such as a cable broadcast signal that has been “wideband frequency converted” and distributed to each household and inputting the signal to a dedicated tuner (eg, cable broadcast tuner). Become.
[0025]
That is, according to such means, it is possible to relatively easily implement the multifunction and modularization of the apparatus.
[0026]
Also,The fourth means isaboveEach meansThe computer connection unit is temporarily moved by a convex portion or a concave portion provided on the surface thereof.InIt is to fix.
[0027]
This eliminates the need for tools when assembling the computer connection unit to the above-mentioned wall storage unit. Therefore, the computer connection unit can be easily assembled to the intra-wall storage unit, or can be temporarily or permanently fixed.
[0028]
Also,UpOfEach meansIn this case, when the entire rotating body is housed in the wall by the above rotation, the bidirectional transmission terminal is substantially completely hidden in the wall by the rotating body. And good.
[0029]
thisAs a result, the bidirectional transmission terminal becomes almost invisible or completely invisible, so that “mischief” such as insertion of a foreign substance into the bidirectional transmission terminal can be greatly prevented.
[0030]
Also, aboveEach meansIn, the storage unit in the wall of the transmission terminal is stored in a switch box or outlet box of a predetermined standard size. And good.
[0031]
This makes it possible not only to use commercially available switch boxes, outlet boxes, mounting frames, etc. as parts, but also to change the size of the holes in the wall when outlets are already installed. It is possible to enjoy a whole range of merits related to conventional industrial standards such as elimination.
[0032]
Also,5th meansThe aboveEach meansInComputer signal / TV signal separatorAnd the computer connection unit are separated. At least between theseAn insertion / removal type connection interface capable of bidirectional transmission of computer signals is provided.
[0033]
ThisComputer signal / TV signal separatorElectrical connection and removal between the unit and the computer connection unit become extremely easy, and work efficiency during assembly work is greatly improved.
Further, in a rented house or the like, a usage form such as whether or not to use a computer is often changed by a user. However, according to the above means, the computer connection unit can be easily attached and detached even in such a case.
[0034]
Also, TwinProvide a dummy mounting interface that can mount a blank panel or a blank case instead of a computer connection unit with a bidirectional transmission terminal when the direction transmission terminal is permanently disconnected. And good.
[0035]
thisIf the computer (bidirectional transmission terminal) is not used permanently, install a blank panel instead of the computer connection unit and leave only the TV terminal on the wall of the wall storage unit. it can. In other words, since portions other than the TV terminal can be made substantially flat, there is no risk of “mischief” or collision.
[0036]
Also,UpOfEach meansBy combining with, there is a better synergistic effect. That is, when the computer (bidirectional transmission terminal) starts to be used again in the vicinity of the above wall storage unit where the blank panel is mounted instead of the computer connection unit having the bidirectional transmission terminal, Remove the computer connection unit using the above insertion / removable connection interface.Computer signal / TV signal separatorFurther, the outlet (wall storage unit) to which the computer can be connected can be easily completed simply by electrically connecting the computer connection unit to the wall storage unit.
That is, according to such means, no special electrical work is required, so that LAN construction or LAN connection can be performed in a short time, and no special construction cost is required.
[0037]
Also,Connect the TV transmission terminal to a broadband transmission system distribution network that has a cable TV station at the headend, etc.And good.
[0038]
According to such a configuration, it is easy to provide an Internet service to a cable TV subscriber by connecting a cable TV TV station to the Internet network.
[0039]
Also, depending on the size and form of the cable television distribution network, noise may be easily mixed. However, if this means is used in combination with the above-mentioned means for reducing noise on the computer network, the quality (reliability) is improved. Communication) can reliably provide Internet service to cable TV subscribers.
By the above means, the above-mentioned problems can be effectively solved.
