本発明は、2つの熱交換器を連結してなる一体型熱交換器に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近時、冷房用のコンデンサをラジエータの前面に連結したいわゆる一体型熱交換器が考案されるようになってきており、このような一体型熱交換器では、例えば、特開平1−224163号公報等に開示されるような一体型熱交換器用タンクが開示されている。

図6は、特開平1−247990号公報に開示される一体型熱交換器を示すもので、この一体型熱交換器は、ラジエータとして使用する第一熱交換器1と冷房用のコンデンサとして使用される第二熱交換器3を並列に配置している。
第一熱交換器1は、一定間隔をおいて対向配置される一対のアルミニウム製の上側タンク5と下側タンク7とをアルミニウム製のチューブ9で連結し、第二熱交換器3は、一定間隔をおいて対向配置される一対のアルミニウム製の上側タンク11と下側タンク13との間をアルミニウム製のチューブ15で連結している。

そして、図7に示すように、第一熱交換器1と第二熱交換器3のアルミニウム製のチューブ9とチューブ15は、両者に跨る幅のアルミニウム製のフィン17に接している。即ち、第一熱交換器1と第二熱交換器3は、共通のフィン17によって放熱部(コア部)19を構成している。
第一熱交換器1と第二熱交換器3と放熱部(コア部)19は、一体的にろう付けされている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、このような従来の一体型熱交換器では、第一熱交換器1と第二熱交換器3の上側タンク5、11、下側タンク7、13が何れも断面形状が円形状にされているため、下記のような不具合を生じている。
通常、ラジエータとして使用する第一熱交換器1は、冷房用のコンデンサとして使用される第二熱交換器3より大型である。

従って、第一熱交換器1と第二熱交換器3は、上側タンク5、11、下側タンク7、13の違いにより、図8に示すように、両者のチューブ9、15間(チューブピッチLa)が広くなり、放熱部(コア部)19の厚みWaが厚くなってしまい、両者のチューブ9、15間の斜線で示す領域16が無駄な領域となる。
そこで、放熱部(コア部)19を薄くするために、図9に示すように、第一熱交換器1の上側タンク5、下側タンク7に穿設するチューブ穴20を第二熱交換器3寄りに変更することが考えられるが、これでは、穴加工が難しくなり、実用性に適していない。

本発明は、かかる従来の問題点を解決するためになされたもので、その目的は、簡単な構造で放熱部(コア部)を薄くすることができる一体型熱交換器を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1の発明は、第一熱交換器と第二熱交換器を有し、第一熱交換器はタンク間を複数のチューブで連結し、第二熱交換器はタンク間を複数のチューブで連結し、各チューブ間には両者に跨るフィンが配置されている一体型熱交換器において、第一熱交換器のタンクは、複数のチューブ挿通穴を穿設する底面に対し直行する側壁に平面部を有し、第二熱交換器のタンクは、丸断面形状をなし、複数のチューブ挿通穴を穿設する底面を有し、第一熱交換器と第二熱交換器は、各チューブ挿通穴の軸心を平行にして、第一熱交換器のタンクの平面部に第二熱交換器を当接してなることを特徴とするものである。

請求項2の発明は、請求項1記載の一体型熱交換器において、第一熱交換器のタンクが角断面形状をなし、第二熱交換器のタンクが丸断面形状をなすことを特徴とするものである。

第一熱交換器21のタンク25,27と第二熱交換器23のタンク31,33は、アルミニウムからなり押出成形により一体に形成されている。

又、第一熱交換器21のタンク25(27)と第二熱交換器23のタンク31(33)が、アルミニウム製の一体押出成形品であるから、従来例のように両者をろう付けする必要がない。従って、第一熱交換器21のタンク25(27)と第二熱交換器23のタンク31(33)をろう付けするに際し、両者の位置合わせを行うという面倒な作業が不要となる。

この実施形態では、第一熱交換器21のタンク25(27)と第二熱交換器23のタンク31(33)を格別に形成したものである。
この実施形態においては、アルミニウム製の一体押出成形品としての作用効果を除き、上記実施形態と同様の作用効果を奏することができる。

尚、上記実施形態では、第一熱交換器21のタンク25,27を箱断面形状とした場合について説明したが、第二熱交換器23のタンク31,33との当接部位を確保するための平面部39を形成できれば特にその形状を限定するものではない。特に、第一熱交換器21はラジエータに使用される場合には、コンデンサに比して耐圧性は要求されないからその形状は任意である。

以上述べたように、請求項1乃至請求項5の発明では、第一熱交換器と第二熱交換器は、各チューブ挿通穴の軸心を平行にして、第一熱交換器のタンクの平面部に第二熱交換器を当接したものであるから、簡単な構造で放熱部(コア部)を薄くすることができる。
