Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a data writing method to an optical disc and an optical disc apparatus for avoiding a data write error during data writing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Some optical disks that are generally available on the market are distorted and are not formed into a perfect circle, or some are not flat. When an optical disk that is not a perfect circle or has no flatness is rotated by a spindle motor, the optical disk may vibrate, and accurate data may not be written.
In recent years, especially in the current situation where the writing speed (in the present specification, the speed is 16 × or 24 ×, which is determined in advance), the rotation speed of the optical disk by the spindle motor has increased. Therefore, there is a high probability that a write error will occur even if the optical disk is slightly distorted.
[0003]
Therefore, in an optical disk device capable of writing data to an optical disk, the mounted optical disk is traced once before data is written, and the number of ATIP CRC errors (Absolute Time In Pregroove, Cyclic Redundancy Code) that occur during the tracing is counted. Thus, if the number of ATIP CRC errors is greater than or equal to a predetermined number, control such as reducing the writing speed by one step has been performed.
The ATIP CRC error is an error that has occurred in data as address information written on an optical disc.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When writing data at a high writing speed, the writing operation is affected by the acceleration component of the objective lens in the optical pickup as the writing speed increases.
Therefore, if it is found that an acceleration that would normally generate an ATIP CRC error has occurred in the objective lens, it is necessary to immediately reduce the writing speed to prevent a writing error (write error).
However, in the conventional method for preventing the writing error, even if the acceleration causing the writing error occurs in the objective lens, the writing speed is reduced unless the occurrence of the ATIP CRC error is more than a predetermined number of times. Since control is not performed, there is a problem that a write error is likely to occur.
Even if the writing is successful, there is a possibility that the RF signal of the written data may be lost due to the influence of the acceleration acting on the objective lens, and an optical disk that is difficult to read may be generated.
[0005]
In order to prevent a writing error, the optical pickup is also traced without actually writing data before writing, but the entire writing time is long by the time for tracing. There is a problem that it becomes.
Moreover, since tracing is not possible on the entire surface of the disk, even if it is determined that a writing error will not occur after tracing, there is a possibility that a writing error will eventually occur.
[0006]
Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and the object of the present invention is to detect the acceleration in the optical pickup of the objective lens in real time during data writing, and to control the writing speed based on the detected state. An object of the present invention is to provide a method of writing data to an optical disc and an optical disc apparatus which are designed to prevent writing errors by performing control.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the data writing method to the optical disc according to the present invention, when reading data from the optical disc and writing data to the optical disc, the light relatively moving along the pre-groove of the optical disc while irradiating the optical disc with laser light. A pickup, tracking servo means for controlling the objective lens provided in the optical pickup by moving the optical lens in the optical pickup so as to track the pregroove, and the objective lens, the recording surface of the objective lens and the optical disc When writing data to an optical disk using an optical disk device having a focus servo means that is moved and controlled in an optical pickup so as to keep the distance between the optical pickup and the data without writing a trace before writing the data starts writing, acceleration during movement in the optical pickup of the objective lens Detects, the detected acceleration is, if it exceeds the reference acceleration which is set in advance so that each different value for each write speed is stepwise advance determined, the write data temporarily interrupted Then, the writing speed is reduced from the interrupted address to resume the data writing.
According to this method, it is detected during data writing that acceleration has occurred in the movement of the objective lens within the optical pickup when the optical disk is distorted and is not a perfect circle or when the flatness is not achieved. In this case, the writing speed is made slow so as not to cause a writing error. Therefore, even when data is written at high speed, it is possible to prevent a write error.
Further, since the reference acceleration is set in advance so as to be different for each writing speed that is determined in advance in stages, as the writing speed is increased , the writing speed is decreased even if a slight acceleration occurs. Thus, the occurrence of a write error can be prevented more reliably.
[0008]
According to the optical disk apparatus of the present invention, the spindle motor that rotates the optical disk, and when reading data from the optical disk and writing data to the optical disk, the optical disk is irradiated with laser light along the pre-groove of the optical disk. A relative-moving optical pickup, tracking servo means for controlling the objective lens provided in the optical pickup to move in the optical pickup so as to track the pre-groove, and the objective lens, the objective lens In an optical disk apparatus comprising a focus servo means that is moved and controlled in an optical pickup so as to keep the distance from the recording surface of the optical disk constant, after starting data writing without performing tracing before data writing, Acceleration during movement of the objective lens in the optical pickup , Said tracking servo means and / or the focus and acceleration detecting means for detecting the amount of current flowing to the servo means, stepwise advance determined by which memory the reference acceleration is previously stored as a different value for each writing speed Means for determining whether or not the acceleration at the time of movement of the objective lens detected by the acceleration detection means within the optical pickup exceeds a preset reference acceleration, and the determination means And a writing speed control means for controlling the spindle motor so as to slow down the writing speed when it is determined that the acceleration detected by the acceleration detecting means exceeds a preset reference acceleration. It is a feature.
By adopting this configuration, even when the optical disk is distorted and not round, or even when the flatness does not appear, data is being written that the objective lens has accelerated within the optical pickup. If the acceleration is equal to or greater than a certain magnitude, the writing speed is slowed so as not to cause a writing error. Therefore, even when data is written at high speed, it is possible to prevent a write error.
Further, since the reference acceleration is set in advance so as to be different for each writing speed that is determined in advance in stages, as the writing speed is increased, the writing speed is decreased even if a slight acceleration occurs. Thus, the occurrence of a write error can be prevented more reliably.

[0027]
While the present invention has been described in detail with reference to a preferred embodiment, the present invention is not limited to this embodiment, and it goes without saying that many modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. .
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
According to the data writing method and the optical disk apparatus according to the present invention, even when the optical disk is not perfectly circular or has a flatness, the optical disk of the objective lens can be used. It is possible to detect during the data writing that the acceleration has occurred in the movement, and in this case, the writing speed is slowed down so as not to cause a writing error.
Therefore, even when data is written at high speed, it is possible to prevent a write error.
Further, since this acceleration is checked in real time during the actual data writing, the trace before the data writing is not required, and the writing time can be shortened as a whole.
Furthermore, since the acceleration of the objective lens is checked over the entire surface of the disk, it is possible to improve the recording quality of data written as the entire disk.
In addition, since the reference acceleration is set in advance so as to be different for each writing speed, the writing speed can be set to be slowed down even when slight acceleration occurs as the writing speed increases. The occurrence of errors can be prevented more reliably.
