Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention inserts an unthreaded joining pipe into a pipe or joint body having a tapered receiving part, and seals by inserting an annular rubber packing into the pipe or joint body by a fastening means such as a push ring. The present invention relates to a seal structure of a pipe joint.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As this type of pipe joint, there is one shown in the partial longitudinal sectional view of FIG. In this pipe joint, the joint pipes 1 and 1 are connected by a joint body 2. In other words, a joint body 2 is prepared in which the inner diameter of the tapered receiving portion 3 is set larger than the outer diameter of the joining tube 1 and the central portion in the axial direction swells in a drum shape to form a wide cavity 4 inside. The insertion port 5 of the bonded tube 1 is inserted into the receiving port 3.
Then, an annular rubber packing 6 for sealing is inserted between the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion 2 of the joint main body 2 and the receiving portion 3 of the joint main body 2, and is pushed into the joint main body 2 with a push ring 7 from behind. I have to. This pressing is performed by inserting a tightening bolt 11 into a bolt hole 10 of the protrusion 8 formed on the outer periphery of the end face of the joint body 2 and a bolt hole 9 of the press ring 7 corresponding to the bolt hole 10 and tightening with a nut 12. It is done by doing.
[0003]
Thereby, the outer peripheral wedge surface and the inner peripheral wedge surface of the annular rubber packing 6 are pressed between the tapered receiving portion 3 of the joint main body 2 and the outer peripheral surface of the joint pipe 1, and the joint pipe 1, the joint main body 2, and the like. Are concentrically held and seal fluid leakage from the connection site. In this state, the pipe end of the joint pipe 1 can move freely without interfering with the inner wall of the joint body 2 in the cavity 4 of the joint body 2. On the other hand, it can be refracted and has flexibility. Further, it is possible to perform a certain amount of expansion and contraction against the tensile force acting in the axial direction of the bonded tube 1. That is, this pipe joint retains flexible stretchability.
[0004]
By the way, as described above, the rubber packing 6 of the pipe joint has an outer peripheral wedge surface pressed and urged against the tapered receiving portion 3 of the joint body 2, and an inner peripheral wedge surface is an outer peripheral surface of the joint pipe 1. By being pressed and urged, the sealing performance between the tapered receiving portion 3 and the outer peripheral surface of the joining tube 1 is ensured. In order to further ensure the sealing performance, it is necessary that the rubber packing 6 is in close contact with the tapered receiving portion 3 and the outer peripheral surface of the joining tube 1. For this purpose, it is necessary to make the inner diameter of the rubber packing 6 smaller by 1 to 3% than the outer diameter of the bonded tube 1. The fitting procedure for such a pipe joint is as follows. First, the pusher wheel 7 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the joining pipe, and then the rubber packing 6 having an inner diameter smaller by 1 to 3% than the outer diameter of the pipe is attached. Are fastened with bolts 11 and nuts 12.
[0005]
However, if the inner diameter of the rubber packing 6 is small, it is difficult to insert the joining tube 1 into the central through hole of the rubber packing 6, and the rubber packing 6 and the push ring 7 conveyed to the joint body 2 in a temporarily tightened state are connected to the rubber packing 6. It was impossible to insert the joining tube 1 from the outside in a temporarily tightened state. Therefore, after disassembling and removing the presser wheel 7 and the rubber packing 6 from the joint body 2 and mounting them on the outer peripheral surface of the joint pipe 1, the insertion part 5 of the joint pipe 1 is connected to the receiving part of the joint body 2. The bolt 11 and the nut 12 of the push ring 7 must be fastened by being inserted into the ring 3, and the work of connecting the pipe joint is extremely complicated because it requires disassembly and reassembly.
[0006]
The applicant has already applied for the technique shown in FIG. 5 disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 07-113487 as means for solving such complexity. In this prior application technique, by using the rubber packing 13 whose diameter is reduced when tightened, the inner diameter dimension of the rubber packing 13 is made larger than the outer diameter dimension of the joining tube 1 in advance and is temporarily assembled. In this state, the joining tube 1 can be inserted into the rubber packing 13 and the cavity 4 of the joint body 2. In the rubber packing 13, a plurality of annular ridges 14 and an annular recess 15 formed between the ridges 14 are integrally formed at a portion that contacts the tapered surface of the receiving portion 3 of the joint body 2. ing. The ridges 14 are provided at regular intervals and in the same direction (horizontal direction) as the axis of the bonded tube 1. In FIG. 5, reference numeral 16 denotes a plastic spacer for maintaining a gap. This spacer 16 is for preventing the pusher wheel 7 from pushing the rubber packing 13 in the temporarily assembled state, and it is possible to perform the tightening operation with the pusher wheel 7 while the spacer 16 is mounted during assembly. . The spacer 16 is brittlely broken and does not interfere with the tightening operation.
[0007]
At the time of fastening, the rubber packing 13 is moved forward by being pressed and urged by the front end surface of the press wheel 7, and eventually the tapered ridge 14 first comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the receiving portion of the joint body 2. When the push ring 7 is further tightened, the ridges 14 are compressed and compressed and deformed as shown by the solid line in FIG. As a result, the main body of the rubber packing 13 moves diagonally downward along the tapered surface of the tapered receiving portion 3 with the ridge 14 as a fulcrum, and the diameter thereof is reduced. Next, the ridge 14 gradually deforms due to compression at that position, and spreads in the space between the tapered receiving portion 3 and the rubber packing recess 15. As a result of this deformation of the ridges 14, the rubber packing 13 rolls along the tapered surface regardless of the frictional resistance, as indicated by the arrows in FIG. 7, with the portion in contact with the tapered surface as a fulcrum. It becomes like this. The rubber packing 13 moves diagonally downward without resistance and further reduces the diameter, and a large adhesion force with the joining tube 1 is obtained.
[0008]
Thus, in the prior application technique of the present applicant, the inner diameter of the rubber packing 13 is made larger than the outer diameter of the joining pipe 1, and the joining pipe 1 remains in a temporarily assembled state without disassembling each member of the joint portion. As a result, the assembly can be completed by fastening the bolt 11 and the nut 12 of the push wheel 7 so that the connection work of the entire pipe joint is remarkably simplified.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Incidentally, as shown in FIG. 5, in the joint in which the receiving portion 3 of the joint body 2 is configured by a tapered surface and an inner peripheral surface (cylindrical inner peripheral surface) parallel to the pipe axis, The central axis and the central axis of the cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the joint body 2 are concentric, and the pusher wheel 7 is also concentrically held by the action of the spacer 16. Therefore, the insertion of the pipe 5 is easy.
However, in the case of the pipe joint shown in FIG. 4, when the rubber packing 6 having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the pipe is used, a portion where the rubber packing 6 is held is not present in the receiving portion 3, so 3 has a drawback that the rubber packing 6 hangs downward in the space in 3 and causes misalignment, which makes it difficult to insert the tube 5. Therefore, in the case shown in FIG. 4, the inner diameter of the rubber packing 6 must be made smaller than the outer diameter of the pipe, the bolt 11 and the nut 12 are removed, and all the members must be disassembled for assembly.
[0010]
Further, when a rubber packing having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the pipe as shown in FIG. 5 is used for the pipe joint shown in FIG. 4, the lower end on the tip side of the rubber packing is the receiving portion when the pipe 5 is inserted. The rubber packing taper surface penetrates deeply into the taper surface of the receiving portion 3 in the upper portion. For this reason, when tightening, the lower end of the rubber packing is sandwiched between the outer peripheral surface of the pipe and the inner peripheral surface of the receiving portion, and the concave and convex strips of the rubber packing cannot roll along the taper surface. No radial motion can be obtained. In such a pipe joint, even if each bolt 11 and nut 12 are tightened evenly, the pusher wheel 7 and the receiving part 3 are inclined, and the gap between the pusher wheel 7 and the receiving part 3 is uniform in the circumferential direction. When tightened, there were places where tightening was insufficient, and water could leak with light tightening torque.
Therefore, the rubber packing as shown in FIG. 5 cannot be used for the pipe joint shown in FIG.
[0011]
In addition, a rubber packing having the structure shown in FIG. 5 is adopted in a pipe joint for connecting a connecting pipe having a nominal diameter of 75 mm to a joint body in which the receiving port 3 shown in FIG. In the experiment results in which the outer diameter of the pipe is made larger and the concave and convex strips in the same direction as the pipe axis direction are provided on the taper surface of the rubber packing, when the tightening torque is 10 N · m, the water leaks at a pressure of 1.3 MPa. When the applied torque was 15 N · m, water leaked at a water pressure of 3.3 Mpa. On the other hand, according to the experimental result of a connecting pipe having a nominal diameter of 75 mm using a pipe joint and rubber packing having the structure shown in FIG. 4 and having an inner diameter of rubber packing set to 3% smaller than the outer diameter of the pipe, a water pressure of 3.3 Mpa is obtained at 10 N · m. Leaked water.
It is clear from this experimental result that when the rubber packing shown in FIG. 5 is used, the same watertightness cannot be obtained unless the tightening torque is increased by 5 N · m as compared with the case of the rubber packing shown in FIG. That is, it was inferior in terms of watertightness. Moreover, after several days after tightening, water leaked at a lower water pressure.
[0012]
On the other hand, in the pipe joint structure shown in FIG. 5, when the push ring 7 and the joint body 2 are held rigidly by the plastic spacer 16, the push ring 7 and the joint body 2 are concentric. When the spacer 16 is not provided, the concentricity of the two cannot be obtained, and the misalignment occurs. For this reason, when the connecting pipe 5 is inserted, the connecting pipe 5, the rubber packing 13, and the receiving portion 3 interfere with each other, and there is a drawback that a smooth insertion operation cannot be performed. Therefore, in this case as well, it relies on a method in which a plurality of bolts 11 and nuts 12 are removed and disassembled for assembly.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is obtained by improving and removing the above in view of the above-described problems, and in a pipe joint having a tapered structure, the fitting part is fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the fitting body receiving part in a temporarily assembled state that is not rigid or rigid. The structure push ring, rubber packing, and receiving part do not cause misalignment, smooth connection pipe insertion, and excellent water tightness that does not cause water leakage by light work that is lightly tightened. It is an object of the present invention to provide a seal structure for a pipe joint that can be obtained.
[0014]
Thus, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention adopts the means of claim 1 by inserting a screwless joining pipe into a pipe having a tapered receiving portion or a joint body, and tightening a push wheel or the like. In a seal structure of a pipe joint in which an annular rubber packing is inserted and sealed into a pipe or a joint main body by means, and the presser wheel has a portion fitted on the outer peripheral surface side of the receiving portion of the joint main body, and a rubber Steps are formed at the parts that come into contact with the rear end face side and the outer peripheral face side of the packing, and the rubber packing tube or joint body Taper surface of the receiving part In contact with Tapered Part and push The tapered surface of the ring step A plurality of annular ridges are provided in the same direction as the axis of the tube at the tapered part that comes into contact, and the inner diameter of the rubber packing is made larger than the outer diameter of the tube. When the push ring tightens, the rubber packing rolls along the taper surfaces with the ridges of the two taper-shaped portions compressing and deforming using the portions in contact with the taper surfaces as fulcrums. To further reduce the diameter. This is a seal structure for a pipe joint.
In this invention, since the rubber packing is accommodated at a fixed position in the press wheel and does not interfere with the rubber packing when the pipe is inserted, smooth insertion work can be performed. Also, when tightening, the ridges on the front and rear surfaces of the rubber packing are compressed and deformed and roll toward the center on the tapered surface of the receiving portion and the tapered surface on the side of the pusher wheel. Heavy sealing effect and tube holding power are demonstrated.
[0015]
In addition to the structure of claim 1, the means of claim 2 employed by the present invention is provided with a plurality of annular ridges on the entire inner peripheral surface of the rubber packing, and the inner diameter of the ridge is greater than the outer diameter of the tube. Make it bigger When the push ring tightens, the rubber packing rolls along the taper surfaces with the ridges of the two taper-shaped portions compressing and deforming using the portions in contact with the taper surfaces as fulcrums. In addition, the diameter of each ridge that compresses and deforms the inner peripheral surface of the ridge that contacts the joint pipe rolls on the outer peripheral surface of the pipe. This is a seal structure for a pipe joint.
Therefore, in this invention, in addition to the effect of the invention of claim 1, when tightened, the end of the annular ridge provided on the inner peripheral surface of the rubber packing is between the outer peripheral surface of the pipe and the inner peripheral surface of the rubber packing body. By compressing and deforming in an annular shape and rolling, the entire rubber packing is compressed in the direction of the tube axis without frictional resistance according to the movement of the press ring, and the tightening force of the bolt and nut is efficiently reduced in the direction of the tube center. for that reason, Strong water tightness can be demonstrated with light tightening force. In the conventional technology in which the entire inner peripheral surface of the rubber packing is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the pipe, the frictional resistance suddenly increases with the movement of the press ring, and the diameter reducing force is dispersed to the rubber packing, resulting in bolts and nuts. There was a problem of water leakage just by tightening lightly.
[0016]
Further, according to the third aspect of the present invention, the positioning rib protrudes from the outer peripheral surface of the rubber packing in the outer diameter direction, and the positioning rib is interposed in the fitting gap between the push ring and the joint body. Item 3. A pipe joint seal structure according to Item 1 or 2.
The joint ribs, the rubber packing and the press ring can be held concentrically by the positioning ribs of the rubber packing, and the connecting pipe can be easily inserted. In addition, the positioning rib is made of a rubber material, can absorb the dimensional error between the press ring and the joint body, and is easy to manufacture because it does not require accuracy.
[0017]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The configuration of the present invention will be described below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings. In addition, the same code | symbol as the past is the same member. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a pipe joint according to the first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, in this embodiment, a step portion 21 for holding the rubber packing 20 and the contact portion of the push wheel 7 is formed, and the step portion 21 is provided with a tapered surface. Further, a plurality of annular ridges 14 and ridges are formed on a portion of the rubber packing 20 that contacts the tapered surface of the receiving portion 3 of the joint body 2 and a portion of the pusher wheel 7 that contacts the tapered surface of the stepped portion 21. An annular recess 15 formed between 14 is formed by integral molding. The ridges 14 are provided at regular intervals and in the same direction (horizontal direction) as the axis of the bonded tube 1. Further, the inner diameter dimension of the rubber packing 20 is set to be slightly larger than the outer diameter dimension of the bonded tube 1.
[0018]
In the pipe joint configured as described above, the front end side of the rubber packing 20 is fitted into the tapered receiving portion 3 of the joint body 2, and the rear end of the rubber packing 20 is attached to the stepped portion 21 of the push ring 7. The side is fitted and held in place. Further, the push ring 7 and the joint body 2 are connected and held rigidly by installing a plastic spacer 16 or a temporary fixing member between the push ring 7 and the bolt holding portion 8. And it ships from the factory as a set of pipe joints in which the bolt 11 and the nut 12 are temporarily tightened. That is, the entire pipe joint is shipped from the factory in a temporarily assembled state. In this temporarily assembled state, the rubber packing 20 is fitted and attached to the stepped portion 21 of the pusher wheel 7. The center position of the rubber packing 20 coincides with the axial center line of the joint main body 2, and no misalignment occurs.
[0019]
Next, from this state, as shown in FIG. 1, the insertion portion 5 of the joining pipe 1 is inserted into the pusher wheel 7 and further penetrates the rubber packing 20 that is fitted and held in the reception portion 3 of the joint body 2. Thus, it is interposed in the cavity 4 of the receiving port 3. In this case, the inner diameter of the rubber packing 20 is set to be larger than the outer diameter of the joining tube 1, and the rubber packing 20 is held by the stepped portion 21 of the push wheel 7 so as not to be misaligned. The insertion operation of the joining pipe 1 can be easily performed even when the state of the rubber packing 20 is not visible from the outside. Finally, the push wheel 7 is fastened with the bolt 11 and the nut 12.
[0020]
Thus, at the time of this fastening, the rubber packing 20 that is pressed and urged by the pusher wheel 7 has a ridge 14 that contacts the taper surface of the stepped part 21 of the pusher wheel 7 and the taper of the receiving part 3 of the joint body 2. The ridge 14 in contact with the surface is compressed and deformed as shown in FIG. 6, and the main body of the rubber packing 20 is along the tapered surfaces of the stepped portion 21 and the receiving portion 3 with the ridge 14 as a fulcrum. The entire rubber packing 20 is uniformly moved obliquely downward to reduce the diameter.
FIG. 6 shows only the diameter reducing operation of the portion corresponding to the front end side of the rubber packing 20, but in the pipe joint structure of FIG. 1, the same diameter reducing operation is also performed on the rear end side of the rubber packing 20. It is obtained.
[0021]
As the push ring 7 is further tightened, the rubber packing 20 has a friction resistance as shown by an arrow in FIG. 7 with the portion in contact with the tapered surface of the stepped portion 21 and the receiving portion 3 as a fulcrum. Rolls along the tapered surface regardless of the direction. As a result, the entire rubber packing 20 moves uniformly diagonally downward without resistance, and further reduces the diameter. Due to the uniform diameter-reducing operation over the entire rubber packing 20, the adhesion between the rubber packing 20 and the joining pipe 1 is remarkably increased, and excellent water tightness and holding power of the pipe are exhibited. If the push ring 7 is further tightened from this state, the bottom surface of the recess 15 of the rubber packing 20 is joined to the tapered receiving portion 3 as shown in FIG. After that, the entire rubber packing 20 is deformed by compression, and the adhesion with the joining tube 1 is further increased.
[0022]
As described above, even when the inner diameter of the rubber packing 20 is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the joining pipe 1, a sufficient tightening holding force of the pipe can be obtained. The assembly can be completed by inserting the joining tube 1 and fastening the bolt 11 and the nut 12 of the push wheel 7 without disassembling. Therefore, it is possible to remarkably simplify the connection work for the entire pipe joint.
Moreover, since the rubber packing 20 is reduced in diameter on both surfaces (front and rear surfaces) in the center direction of the tube 1 in the tightened one, the frictional resistance with the outer peripheral surface of the tube is increased, and both the tube holding force and water tightness are excellent. It will be a thing. Thereby, even if it does not make it the shape of the receptacle part 3 of the prior application technique shown in FIG.
[0023]
FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of a joint portion according to the second embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, in addition to the configuration of the first embodiment, a plurality of annular ridges 22 and ridges 23 are alternately provided on the entire inner peripheral surface side of the rubber packing 20. The concave line 23 is a compression deformation space region of the convex line 22. The inner diameter of the ridge 22 is set to be larger than the outer diameter of the bonded tube 1.
Therefore, in the present invention, in addition to the diameter reducing action of the invention of claim 1, the tip of the annular ridge 22 provided on the inner peripheral surface side of the rubber packing 20 is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the joining tube 1. Thus, it is compressed and deformed in the space region of the recess 23. In the process of fastening, the gap between the tube receiving portion 3 and the push ring 7 is narrowed, so that the rubber packing 20 has a portion that contacts the connecting tube 1 among the portions of the ridges 22 that are compressed and deformed. The entire rubber packing 20 is compressed evenly without rolling.
[0024]
Due to the reduced diameter rolling operation of the rubber packing 20, there is no frictional resistance with the pipe 1, so that internal strain is not accumulated in the rubber packing 20, and a period after the fastening has elapsed. There is no slack. Compared with the case of the first embodiment according to the first aspect of the present invention, in the first embodiment, the entire inner peripheral surface of the rubber packing 20 is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the pipe. Although the diameter reduction process is lightly tightened, it is difficult to tighten suddenly when the rubber packing 20 and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe are in contact with each other. This is because the rubber packing 20 is prevented from shrinking due to the frictional resistance between the rubber packing 20 and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe in the process of narrowing the gap between the receiving portion 3 and the push wheel 7. However, the frictional resistance decreases with the passage of time, the inner peripheral surface of the rubber packing 20 and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe gradually slide out, and a phenomenon occurs in which the entire rubber packing is loosened. Therefore, there is a possibility that water leakage will occur at a later date if it is lightly tightened. In this embodiment, in an experiment using a pipe having a nominal diameter of 75 mm, a water tightness of a water pressure of 4 Mpa or more was already secured with a tightening torque of 10 N · m.
[0025]
FIG. 3 is a longitudinal sectional view of a joint according to a third embodiment of the present invention. In the first and second embodiments, the push wheel 7 and the joint body 2 are temporarily assembled in a rigid manner using the spacers 16, but in this embodiment, the positioning ribs 24 are used instead of the spacers 16. I am doing so. Other configurations are the same as those in the first and second embodiments. The positioning rib 24 is formed integrally with the rubber packing 20, and has a portion extending from the outer peripheral surface of the rubber packing 20 in the outer diameter direction. The extended portion is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the joint body 2. This is extended to a portion 25 between the press ring 7 and the inner peripheral surface of the press wheel 7 that is externally fitted, and a portion 27 that protrudes in the outer diameter direction on the front end surface side of the press wheel 7 is provided.
[0026]
In such a pipe joint using the rubber packing 20, the front end side of the rubber packing 20 is fitted into the tapered receiving portion 3 of the joint main body, and is protruded from the outer peripheral surface side of the rubber packing 20. The portion 25 of the positioning rib 24 is externally fitted to the outer peripheral surface side of the joint body 2. Then, the stepped portion 21 of the push ring 7 is externally fitted and held on the rear end side of the rubber packing 20, and finally the bolt 11 and the nut 12 are fastened. It should be noted that a temporary fixing spacer 26 different from the rubber packing 20 and the positioning ribs 24 may be sandwiched in a portion where the bolt 11 is inserted. Thereby, temporary assembly of a pipe joint member is possible.
[0027]
In this temporarily assembled state, the presser wheel 7 is externally attached to the outer peripheral surface of the joint body 2, and a portion 25 of the positioning rib 24 of the rubber packing 20 is interposed in the externally attached portion. Further, since the rear end side of the rubber packing 20 is fitted into the stepped portion 21 of the push ring 7, the rubber packing 20 is in such a posture that the concavo-convex shapes 14 and 15 always face the same direction as the tube axis direction. Is retained. Even if the gap between the stepped portion 21 of the push ring 7 and the tapered receiving portion 3 of the joint body 2 is increased and the rubber packing 20 can be moved slightly, the portion 25 of the positioning rib 24 can be obtained. By this function, the rubber packing 20 can be held in a normal posture in the tapered receiving portion 3. That is, the joint main body 2, the rubber packing 20, and the pusher wheel 7 are always held concentrically, so that misalignment does not occur. Therefore, it is very easy to insert the connecting pipe 1 in the temporarily assembled state.
[0028]
Note that a portion 25 of the positioning rib 24 of the rubber packing 20 is interposed between the outer peripheral surface of the joint body 2 and the inner peripheral surface of the press ring 7 that is externally fitted to the joint body 2. Even if the joint body 2 is manufactured somewhat rough, there is also a merit that it is easy to manufacture because the elastic force of the rib portion 25 can absorb the dimensional error. Further, the temporary fixing spacer 26 at the fastening portion of the bolt and nut may be removed after the tube is inserted, or may be removed immediately before the tube is inserted. After the pipe is inserted, the plurality of bolts 11 and nuts 12 are finally tightened to complete the assembly of the pipe joint.
[0029]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the present invention, an annular uneven strip is provided on both the portion of the rubber packing tube or the portion that contacts the tapered receiving surface of the joint body and the portion that contacts the fastening means such as a push ring. Is provided in the same direction as the axial center line. Further, the press ring has a step portion for fitting the rubber packing therein. Therefore, misalignment does not occur, and the tube to be inserted does not interfere with the push ring, the rubber packing, and the joint body, and the insertion work is easy. Moreover, since a large diameter reducing action can be obtained at the front and rear end faces of the rubber packing, the double tube holding force and the sealing effect of the rubber packing are exhibited. Furthermore, after removing a plurality of bolts and nuts and disassembling into a push ring, a joint body and a rubber packing as in the conventional case, there is no need to reassemble, and the construction work is extremely short in combination with the ease of the pipe insertion work. And there is an advantage that it can be easily performed.
[0030]
In the present invention, in addition to the above configuration, a plurality of annular ridges are provided on the inner peripheral surface side of the rubber packing, and the inner diameter of the ridges is made larger than the outer diameter of the tube. When tightened, the end of the annular ridge provided on the inner peripheral surface of the rubber packing is compressed and deformed between the outer peripheral surface of the pipe and the inner peripheral surface of the rubber packing body, and the entire rubber packing without any resistance according to the movement of the press ring by rolling. The tube is compressed uniformly in the tube axis direction, and is further reduced in diameter toward the center of the tube by rolling of the ridges on the tapered surface, and the tightening force of the bolts and nuts effectively reduces the diameter in the center direction of the tube. Therefore, there is no phenomenon of loosening of the rubber packing at a later date even with a light tightening force, and there is no problem of water leakage. In addition, the water tightness is better than when rubber packing smaller than the conventional pipe outer diameter is used, and it is not necessary to disassemble and reassemble what was temporarily shipped from the factory as in the past. It is possible to directly insert the pipe as it is temporarily assembled from the factory. Thus, the pipe insertion work can be performed without disassembling and the assembling work can be completed, so that the construction work can be performed in a very short time and is easy.
[0031]
Further, according to the present invention, in the structure of the press ring having the above-described structure and the tapered structure of the joint body receiving portion, the positioning rib extended by protruding from the outer peripheral surface of the rubber packing is provided between the press ring and the joint body. It is interposed in the fitting part. Therefore, the joint main body taper portion, the rubber packing, and the press ring can be held concentrically by the positioning ribs of the rubber packing, and the connecting pipe can be easily inserted. In addition, the positioning rib interposed between the fitting part of the pusher wheel and the joint body is also a rubber material formed of the same material as the rubber packing, and does not require accuracy, so that the dimensional error between the pusher wheel and the joint body is absorbed. Can be manufactured easily. Further, it is not necessary to manufacture a conventional plastic spacer, and the cost is low.
