BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to various grinding machines such as an internal grinding machine, a cylindrical grinding machine, and a centerless grinding machine, and a grinding machine such as a superfinishing machine, and more particularly to a control device and a workpiece replacement device in an automatic shoe support grinding machine. Regarding improvement.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The mechanical operation of the grinding machine is controlled sequentially using a sequencer. In this case, the next operation is started after the completion of the previous operation is confirmed by the proximity sensor or the like. FIG. 7 shows a control sequence of the operation of the internal grinding machine, and FIG. 8 shows a time chart.
The current machine operation will be described with reference to FIGS. When machining is completed, the notch is retracted and the notch retract end sensor is turned ON. This sensor signal is transmitted to the sequencer and a grindstone table retraction command signal is output. When the grinding wheel table steps on the retraction confirmation sensor, the sequencer confirms and outputs a retraction signal of the gauge. In the case of an internal grinding machine, when the grindstone and gauge come out of the workpiece, the loader moves, ejects the processed workpiece and replaces it with a new workpiece.
The loader replaces the workpiece at the discharge position. At this time, the discharge position is confirmed, and after the timer for replacing the workpiece is set up, the loading operation is started. When the workpiece is carried in, the operation reverse to the gauge-grinding wheel table-cutting is performed while checking the operation with the sensor. FIG. 6 shows a typical loading apparatus. Normally, hydraulic / pneumatic cylinders are used as actuators for these operations. The machine layout of the internal grinding machine is as shown in FIG.

In this case, after confirming the sensor sd, the separation mechanism is operated, and the confirmation that the operation of the separation mechanism is completed is performed by another sensor. It is necessary to do in.

[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the above operation, when the actuator is a hydraulic / pneumatic cylinder, it takes time to switch the valve and propagate the pressure in the pipe, and a delay inevitably occurs even if the sequence control signal is switched. Because of such a delay, it is necessary to confirm the operation in the sequence control, and the setting of the limit switch for confirming the operation is troublesome.
For example, the delay time of the sequencer is several milliseconds to several tens of milliseconds, the valve switching is several tens of milliseconds, and the pressure propagation of the pipe has a delay or variation of about 100 milliseconds. As shown in FIG. 7, the grinder has about 10 operations, and the delay of each control device is delayed by many operations even if the delay is small. In particular, at the time of delivery of the workpiece, a timer was required for surely stabilizing the workpiece at the fixed position.
[0006]
Considering the delay time element, there are the following elements.
(1) Proximity switch for operation check: This is normally 1 msec or less and can respond at high speed. (2) Sequencer I / O signal: For example, in an AC relay, there is a delay due to the power supply frequency. If it is at 60 Hz, a delay of up to 1/60 second will appear. Even a DC relay has a delay of several tens of milliseconds.
(3) Sequencer processing time: Depending on the sequencer and program creation method, there is a delay of several milliseconds or more.
(4) Solenoid valve response: It takes several tens of milliseconds to move the spool of the solenoid valve.
(5) Pressure fluid transmission: Although it varies depending on differences in piping system length, piping rigidity, hydraulic pressure / pneumatic pressure, etc., a delay of several tens of milliseconds or more will occur.
[0007]
Thus, delays and variations have been unavoidable in conventional loading devices and other machine operations. Although there were improvements such as changing the hydraulic valve to a servo valve, the basic sequential control delay could not be eliminated. FIG. 9 shows the details of the grinding machine idle (non-grinding) time with respect to the items (2) to (5) ignoring the above item (1).
Each of these delay elements is a small value, but if the operation is repeated seven times, the delay is close to 1 second. Therefore, it is one of the major improvement factors of processing machines.
In order to eliminate these dead times, it is conceivable to servo the actuator with the largest delay, and some grinding machines actually reduce the dead time by a hydraulic servo. However, only the loader arm that requires force is used as a servo, and in the case of a hydraulic servo, there is still a delay of several tens of msec or more until it starts to move.
[0008]
The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned problems and provides a grinding apparatus capable of speeding up the sequential operation of each part by eliminating the delay time of the drive system and the control system and simplifying the control. The purpose is to do.
Another object of the present invention is to eliminate the waste of the replacement time in the workpiece replacement device to the processing position, and to minimize the time from the end of the processing to the start of the next processing.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The configuration of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 1 corresponding to the embodiment.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention replaces the workpiece (W) with the machining position (X0) (7), the advancing / retreating device (14) of the grindstone (4a), and the workpiece at the machining position (X0). The advancing / retreating device (19) of the gauge (10) with respect to (W) is driven by an electric motor (15, 13, 18), respectively, and a reference pulse generating means (34) for generating a predetermined number of reference pulses is provided. In addition, a position change curve setting means (36A to 36C) is provided for each of the electric motors (15, 13, 18), and each electric motor ( Servo controllers (37A to 37C) for controlling 15, 13, 18) are provided. The position change curve setting means (36A to 36C) outputs a position command corresponding to the number of input pulses according to a predetermined position change curve (ac) according to the input of the reference pulse.
The reference pulse generating means (34) is composed of a sequencer, a personal computer or the like, and generates a predetermined number of reference pulses corresponding to a grinding operation for one cycle, for example. This reference pulse is distributed to each position change curve setting means (36A to 36C), and these position change curve setting means (36A to 36C) are servo controllers (15, 18, 13) of the corresponding electric motors (15, 18, 13). 37A to 37C), a position command of a predetermined position change curve (ac) is output. The position change curve setting means (36A to 36C), so to speak, realizes the function of the cam by electronic control, and the position with respect to the reference pulse is set in advance as the position change curve (ac). In response to the input, for example, a position command corresponding to the number of input pulses is output for each input of one pulse. Therefore, the multi-axis synchronous operation can be performed simply by generating one kind of reference pulse by the reference pulse generating means (34) which is the host control means, and the multi-axis synchronous operation can be easily performed at high speed. .
In addition, since the workpiece replacement device (7), the grindstone advance / retreat device (14), and the gauge advance / retreat device (19) are all driven by the electric motor (15, 13, 18), There is no delay time in such a piping system, and responsiveness is good.
[0010]
In the above-described configuration, the workpiece replacement device (7), the grindstone advance / retreat device (14), and the gauge advance / retreat device (19) are driven by the electric servomotors (15, 13, 18) via a speed reducer. Preferably. By interposing the speed reducer in this way, a small servo motor can be used, and the response is further improved. For this reason, it is not necessary to check the operation by proximity switches or sensors between the operations, and it is possible to eliminate the waste time due to the accumulation of these confirmation times. Therefore, coupled with the adoption of the position change curve setting means, multi-axis synchronous operation can be performed at high speed with simple control.
[0011]
Further, Grinding apparatus of this invention, a replacement device of the workpiece is obtained by the following configuration. The workpiece replacement device includes an inlet chute that guides an unmachined workpiece to a receiving and discharging position near the machining position, a discharge chute that discharges a processed workpiece from the receiving and discharging position, and a pocket in which the workpiece is placed. And a loader arm that reciprocally moves between a position where the pocket is in the processing position and the stopper closes the inlet chute and a position where the pocket communicates with the inlet chute and the discharge chute , A pusher that pushes the workpiece at the tip into the receiving and discharging position. In this configuration, the pusher starts the pushing operation of the unmachined workpiece while the loader arm returns from the machining position to the receiving and discharging position, and the unmachined workpiece pushes out the machined workpiece in the pocket. It is assumed that the workpiece is pushed into the pocket.
In this way, by configuring the pusher to start pushing the unmachined workpiece while the loader arm returns from the machining position to the receiving and discharging position, when the loader arm returns to the receiving and discharging position, the pocket It is possible to completely replace the machined workpiece in the workpiece. Thereby, the loader arm can return to the machining position and start operation without waiting time.

【The invention's effect】
The grinding device of the present invention uses an electric motor for a workpiece changing device, a grindstone advance / retreat device, and a gauge advance / retreat device, and uses a reference pulse generating means and a position command according to a predetermined position change curve by inputting the reference pulse. Since the position change curve setting means for output is provided, multi-axis synchronous operation can be performed with simple one-axis control that requires low cost without using a multi-axis NC device, and the delay time of the drive system and control system is eliminated. Speeding up.
When the workpiece replacement device, the grindstone advance / retreat device, and the gauge advance / retreat device are driven by an electric servo motor via a speed reducer, a small motor can be used for the electric motor, thereby further responding. It is possible to improve the performance and omit the confirmation by the switches and sensors between the operations, and further increase the speed. Therefore, the practical effect is great in a grinding apparatus that processes a large number of workpieces having a short processing time.
Further, Grinding apparatus of this invention, the way pusher loader arm permutation device of the workpiece is returned to the receiving discharge position from the processing position starts pushing operation of the raw workpiece loader arm unprocessed workpiece Since the unmachined workpiece is pushed into the pocket while pushing the machined workpiece in the pocket, the waste of time for replacing the workpiece can be reduced.
