従来の技術を図5,図6のトラック形のスピーカを例にして説明する。

同図によると、リング状のマグネット1を上部プレート2及び下部プレート3によりはさみ込んで構成された環状の磁気ギャップ5を有する磁気回路4の上部プレート2にフレーム6を結合し、このフレーム6の周縁部にコーン7をエッジ8によりクランプした構成としたトラック形状の振動板9を接着し、この振動板9を駆動させるための円筒状のボイスコイルボビンの下方に線輪を巻回したボイスコイル10の中間部をダンパー11に結合して保持するとともに、上記磁気ギャップ5にはめ込んで振動板9とボイスコイル10を接着剤により結合し、ボイスコイル10の上面にダストキャップ12を接着して構成していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら従来のこの種のスピーカは、そのトラック形というスリム形状から影響される周波数特性上の欠点として、高音域周波数のレベルダウンや高域限界周波数の拡大が設計上困難であるという問題を有するものであった。

即ち、そのトラック形の振動板9が全周波数帯域を再生する上において高音域周波数のうち、特に高い周波数帯域の再生は振動板9の短径方向の頂角bの急なほんの一部の円弧部からしか再生できず、更に、長径方向の頂角の緩やかな円弧部は高い周波数帯域の再生に貢献しないばかりか、その振動板9の長径方向の広大な面積による重量成分が高周波帯域の再生をするためのボイスコイル10の微小振動の妨げとなるものであった。

この改善策として、図7、図8のスピーカも考案されたが(図7は短径方向の側断面図、図8は長径方向の側断面図であり)、図5、図6に示すスピーカとの相違点は、磁気回路4の下部プレート3のセンターポールに銅キャップ13を結合して構成し、この銅キャップ13によりボイスコイル10のインダクタンス成分を低下させて、高音域周波数でのボイスコイル10への入力電流値を増大させ、高音域周波数での音圧レベルアップを図る構成としている点である。銅キャップ13の部品コスト及びそれを下部プレート3に組み込むための生産工数アップによる労務費のコストアップにより多大なコストアップを招き実用化は困難であった。

本発明はこのような従来の問題点を解消し、生産工数をアップせず低コスト化を図ることができる優れたスピーカを提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明のスピーカは、磁気回路と、この磁気回路に装着されたフレームと、外周がこのフレームに結合され内周が上記磁気回路の磁気ギャップに一部がはめ込まれるボイスコイルに結合される細長形状の振動板とで構成され、上記ボイスコイルと上記振動板との結合が略長径方向の上記ボイスコイルと振動板間にスリットを設けて行ったものであり、上記ボイスコイルと振動板の結合を短径方向のみで行って高音域周波数のレベルアップや高域限界周波数の拡大を部品点数の増加なしに安価に行うものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、磁気回路と、この磁気回路に装着されたフレームと、外周がこのフレームに結合され内周が上記磁気回路の磁気ギャップに一部がはめ込まれるボイスコイルに結合される細長形状の振動板とで構成され、上記ボイスコイルと上記振動板との結合が略長径方向の上記ボイスコイルと振動板間にスリットを設けて行うものであり、上記ボイスコイルと振動板の結合を短径方向のみで行って高音域周波数のレベルアップや高域限界周波数の拡大を部品点数の増加なしに安価に行うことができるものである。

本発明の請求項2に記載の発明は、磁気回路とこの磁気回路に装着されたフレームと、外周がこのフレームに結合され内周が上記磁気回路の磁気ギャップに一部がはめ込まれるボイスコイルに結合される細長形状の振動板とで構成され、上記ボイスコイルと上記振動板との結合が略長径方向の上記ボイスコイルと振動板間にあっては短径方向より剛性の低い接着剤で結合したので請求項1と同様に高音域周波数のレベルアップや高域限界周波数の拡大が図れるとともに、ボイスコイルと振動板の結合も強固に行えるものである。

以上のように本発明のスピーカは、細長形状の長径方向のボイスコイルと振動板間にスリットを設けたり、短径方向に用いた接着剤より剛性の低い接着剤で上記両者を結合することによって高音域周波数のレベルアップや高域限界周波数の拡大をしたスピーカを安価に提供できるものである。
