Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a resin molded product for a vehicle that is attached to a vehicle body adjacent to another member.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 1 is a front view of a side window portion of a vehicle, FIG. 2 shows an unknown additional structure that has been conceived in the process of completing the present invention, (a) is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. b) is a sectional view taken along the line BB, and (c) is a sectional view taken along the line CC.
[0003]
In FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a vehicle body, which is provided with a door 2 and a side fixing window 3 at the rear side of the side surface so as to cover a pillar 6 provided between the door glass 4 and the window glass 5. A pillar garnish 20 is attached. A weather strip 10 is attached to a retainer 9 attached to a roof panel 7 constituting the vehicle body 1 by a screw 8 so as to seal the door glass 4.
[0004]
A drip molding 11 bent in a substantially square cross section is fixed to the upper edge of the retainer 9, and a fitting portion 21 of the pillar garnish 20 is fitted. In other words, the drip molding 11 has a structure in which the core 11a made of a metal plate is covered with the resin portion 11b, and the fitting is formed by the engaging portions 11c and 11d in which both side edges are folded at the rear end portion (BB position). The fitting portion 21 of the pillar garnish 20 is inserted into and engaged with the recess 11e. A spacer 22 protrudes from the fitting portion 21, and a cushioning material 23 attached to the tip of the spacer 22 contacts the roof panel 7 to form a drip channel 19.
[0005]
9 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line DD of FIG. A retainer 9 continuous from the roof panel 7 side is attached to the pillar 6 connected to the roof panel 7 by a screw 8. A weather strip 10 is attached to the retainer 9 and comes into contact with the door glass 4 for sealing. Yes.
[0006]
The side fixing window 3 is configured such that a window glass 5 to which a frame member 12 is attached is attached to pillars 6 and 6 a by a retainer 13 and fixed by an adhesive 14. Two mounting holes 15 for mounting the pillar garnish 20 are formed on the side of the door glass 4 of the pillar 6, and one mounting hole 15 a is formed on the side of the window glass 5, and the grommets 16 and 16 a are respectively formed. It is inserted.
[0007]
The pillar garnish 20 has a spacer 24 protruding from the center on the back side of the main body 25 formed in a vertically long, substantially parallelogram-like plate shape having a slightly narrower upper portion, and corresponds to the mounting holes 15 and 15a. The mounting clips 26, 26a are integrally molded with resin at the positions where the mounting clips 26, 26a protrude. A buffer material 27 is integrated with the spacer 24.
[0008]
The fitting portion 21 as described above protrudes from the upper end portion of the main body portion 25, and the side edge portion on the door glass 4 side is a bent portion 28, which is in contact with the weather strip 10. A side edge portion of the main body 25 on the side fixed window 3 side overlaps with a part of the window glass 5 as a window covering portion 29, and a cushioning material 30 is formed on the back side thereof.
[0009]
The pillar garnish 20 performs positioning in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction by inserting the fitting portion 21 into the fitting recess 11e of the drip molding 11 and engaging with the engaging portions 11c and 11d. By pushing in the protruding direction of the mounting clips 26, 26 a, the mounting clips 26, 26 a are inserted and engaged with the grommets 16, 16 a and attached to the pillar 6.
[0010]
The pillar garnish 20 functions as a decorative portion that blocks a cluttered structure on the pillar 6 side in the attached state. The cushioning material 27 formed on the spacer 24 abuts on the pillar 6 to prevent the pillar garnish 20 from being recessed. The window covering portion 29 abuts against the window glass 5 via the cushioning material 30 to cover a part of the side fixing window 3 and keep the aesthetic feeling.
[0011]
Since the above-described pillar garnish 20 is attached to the vehicle body panel (pillar 6) by the attachment clips 26 and 26a as attachment members independently of the window glass 5 which is another member, the variation in the shape of the vehicle body panel (pillar 6), In addition, due to errors in the constituent members of the pillar garnish 20 and the side fixing window 3, the overlapping relationship between the window glass 5 and the window covering portion 29 is not constant, and a gap is easily generated between the two so that aesthetics are liable to be lost. There is.
[0012]
This is the same not only in the relationship between the pillar garnish and the window glass, but also in other vehicle resin molded products attached to the vehicle body adjacent to other members. In this case, not only when both members are overlapped but also when they are mounted side by side, the aesthetics are liable to be damaged due to a difference in height.
[0013]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In order to solve the above problems, the object of the present invention is to fix the positional relationship with the other parts adjacent to other parts when attached to the vehicle body without causing defects such as gaps, The object is to obtain a resin molded product for a vehicle that can maintain an excellent aesthetic appearance.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is the following resin molded product for vehicles.
(1) A resin molded product attached to a vehicle body adjacent to another member,
The body of the resin molded product;
Attachment means for attaching the main body to the vehicle body;
When attaching the main body portion to the vehicle body by this attachment means, the engagement holding portion is engaged with the other member by a restoring force after being elastically deformed by being pushed by an adjacent other member,
The engagement holding portion extends from a base portion formed on the back surface of the main body portion toward the other member side and is located at a position away from the back surface, and the locking member and the base portion are separated from the back surface. It consists of a connecting member that connects in a state,
The locking member includes a guide portion that moves the locking member by interference with an adjacent other member, and an engaging portion that engages with the other member at a restoration position after the interference is released,
The resin molded product for a vehicle, wherein the connecting member is elastically deformed so as to move the locking member due to interference between the locking member and another member, and can be elastically deformed so as to be restored by canceling the interference.
(2) The resin molded product for a vehicle according to (1), wherein the locking member has an inclined guide portion on a side that interferes with an adjacent other member, and has a stepped engagement portion on the opposite side.
(3) The resin molded product for vehicles according to the above (1) or (2), wherein the connecting member is formed in a non-linear shape.
(4) The vehicle resin molded product according to any one of (1) to (3), wherein the engagement holding portion is formed of a resin that is elastically deformable integrally with the main body portion.
(5) The vehicle resin molded product according to any one of the above (1) to (3), wherein the engagement holding portion is separate from the main body portion and is formed of a resin that is more elastically deformed than the main body portion.
[0015]
The resin molded product for a vehicle that is an object of the present invention is a resin molded product that is attached to a vehicle body adjacent to another member. Examples of such resin molded products include pillar garnish, rear drip molding, grill air outlet, finisher lock pillar, and other decorative parts. The above-mentioned “adjacent attachment” includes not only the case where they are attached side by side but also the case where part or all of them overlap. The vehicle body to be attached includes, in addition to the vehicle body panel, other members attached to the vehicle body panel.
[0016]
The main body portion of the resin molded product is formed in a shape and structure according to the purpose of each resin molded product.
The attaching means is preferably applied as means for roughly attaching the main body to the vehicle body, but final positioning and fixing is performed by a separate engagement holding means or in combination with the separate engagement holding means. As such separate engagement holding means, arbitrary means such as a mounting clip and a screw can be mentioned.
[0017]
The engagement holding portion extends from a base portion formed on the back surface of the main body portion toward the other member side and is provided with a locking member at a position away from the back surface, and the locking member and the base portion are separated from the back surface by the connecting member. When the main body is attached to the vehicle body by the attaching means, the connecting member is configured to be engaged with the other member by a restoring force after being pushed by an adjacent member and elastically deforming the connecting member.
[0018]
For this reason, the locking member is provided with a guide portion that moves the locking member by interference with the adjacent other member, and an engaging portion that engages with the other member at the restoration position after the interference is released, and the connecting member is locked. The locking member is elastically deformed so as to be moved by interference between the member and the other member, and is elastically deformable so as to be restored by canceling the interference.
[0019]
It is preferable that the locking member is formed with an inclined guide portion on the side that interferes with an adjacent member, and a stepped locking portion is formed on the opposite side. The connecting member is preferably formed non-linearly and substantially longer than that formed at a linear distance.
[0020]
The engagement holding portion can be formed of a resin that can be elastically deformed integrally with the main body portion, or can be formed of a resin that is separate from the main body portion and is more elastically deformed than the main body portion.
[0021]
When the vehicle resin molded product of the present invention is attached to the vehicle body by the attaching means, when the main body portion and the engagement holding portion are pressed from the outside of the vehicle toward the attachment position of the vehicle body, the guide portion of the locking member of the engagement holding portion Interferes with other adjacent members, and receives a lateral force that is substantially perpendicular to the pressing direction. At this time, the connecting member that connects the locking member and the base portion is elastically deformed, and the locking member moves and passes through the peripheral portion of the other member. Thus, when the interference is released, the locking member is restored to the original position by the springback of the connecting member, and the engaging portion is engaged with the adjacent other member.
[0022]
In this state, the adjacent other member is sandwiched between the locking member and the main body, and the main body of the vehicle resin molded product is held by the adjacent other member. Thus, the main body is attached to the vehicle body in a state where the main body is positioned so as to maintain a certain positional relationship with other adjacent members. For this reason, defects such as a gap do not occur between the two, and an excellent aesthetic feeling can be maintained.
[0023]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 and 2 also show an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a pillar garnish. In the embodiment of the present invention, reference numerals 15a and 16a in FIG. 1 are omitted. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line DD of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a part of the rear surface side showing the mounting state, and FIGS. 5A, 6A, and 6C are the mounting states. 5 (b), 6 (b), and (d) are DD cross-sectional views corresponding thereto, and FIG. 5 (c) is an X direction arrow view of the pillar garnish 20 in FIG. 5 (a). It is a figure (illustration of the side fixed window 3 is abbreviate | omitted).
[0024]
In FIG. 1 thru | or FIG. 6, basic body, such as the vehicle body 1 as a to-be-attached body in the embodiment, the door 2, the side fixing window 3 as an adjacent other member, and the pillar garnish 20 as the vehicle resin molded product of the present invention. Since the configuration and operation are the same as those of the conventional one in FIG. 9, the same or corresponding parts are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted. Here, the fitting portion 21 and the attachment clip 26 are formed as attachment means.
[0025]
The difference between the pillar garnish 20 of the embodiment and the conventional one is that the mounting clip 26a provided on the side fixing window 3 side of the back surface of the main body 25 in FIG. 9 and the pillar 6 corresponding thereto are provided. The attachment holes 15a and the grommets 16a are omitted, and a plurality of engagement holding portions 31 are provided at the corresponding positions of the pillar garnish 20. Thus, the mounting clip 26 as the mounting means is provided on the door glass 4 side of the pillar garnish 20, and the side fixing window 3 side as the adjacent other member is positioned and fixed by the engagement holding portion 31.
[0026]
The engagement holding part 31 is located at a position moved from the base 32 formed on the back surface 25a of the main body 25 in a direction along the back surface 25a and in a direction away from the back surface 25a. Are connected to each other in a state of being separated from the back surface 25a.
[0027]
The locking member 33 has an inclined guide portion 35 that moves the locking member 33 due to interference with the frame member 12 of the side fixing window 3 that is an adjacent other member on the interference side, and a restored position after the interference cancellation. 2 has a stepped engagement portion 36 that engages with the frame member 12 on the opposite side. Corresponding to the engaging portion 36, the stepped engaging portion 17 is also formed in the frame member 12. An inclination angle α is formed on the side wall 33 a that contacts the frame member 12 of the locking member 33, and an inclination angle β is formed on the engaging portion 36. The guide portion 35 is formed with a height difference d so that the upper portion has an acute angle.
[0028]
The connecting member 34 is elastically deformed so as to move the locking member 33 in the P direction away from the frame material 12 due to interference between the locking member 33 and the frame material 12, and is restored in the Q direction when it approaches the frame material 12 again by releasing the interference. Thus, the space 37 is formed between the back surface 25a and the back surface 25a. The space 37 is formed in a non-linear shape (bent shape).
[0029]
In this way, when the pillar holding garnish 20 is pressed against the vehicle body and attached to the vehicle body by the attachment clip 26, the engagement holding portion 31 is pushed by the side fixing window 3 which is an adjacent other member and elastically deformed, and then is restored by the restoring force. The side fixing window 3 is configured to be engaged. In this case, the engagement holding part 31 is formed so that the front end of the frame member 12 hits an intermediate part of the inclined guide part 35, and thereby the locking member 33 is configured to be retracted in an inclined state. Is preferred.
[0030]
The above-described pillar garnish 20 as a resin molded product for a vehicle is engaged with the engaging portions 11c and 11d by inserting the fitting portion 21 into the fitting recess 11e of the drip molding 11 in the same manner as conventionally considered. Thus, the positioning in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction is performed, and the body portion 25 is pushed in the protruding direction of the mounting clip 26, whereby the mounting clip 26 is inserted and engaged with the grommet 16 and attached to the pillar 6.
[0031]
At this time, when the main body portion 25 and the engagement holding portion 31 are pressed toward the pillar 6 from the outside of the vehicle, the guide portion 35 of the locking member 33 of the engagement holding portion 31 as shown in FIGS. Interferes with the frame member 12 of the side fixing window 3 as another adjacent member, and receives a lateral force that is substantially perpendicular to the pressing direction. Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the connecting member 34 that connects the locking member 33 and the base portion 32 is elastically deformed, and the locking member 33 moves in a direction away from the frame member 12. It passes through the periphery of the frame member 12. When the interference is thereby released, the locking member 33 is restored to the original position as shown in FIGS. 6C and 6D by the springback force of the connecting member 34 itself, and the engaging portion 36 is adjacent. Engage with the engaging portion 17 of the frame member 12.
[0032]
In this state, the frame member 12 of the side fixing window 3 as an adjacent other member is sandwiched between the locking member 33 and the main body portion 25, and the main body portion 25 of the pillar garnish 20 is fixed to the side as an adjacent other member. It is held in the window 3. Thus, the main body 25 is attached to the pillar 6 in a state of being positioned so as to maintain a certain positional relationship with the adjacent side fixing window 3. For this reason, even when there is a variation such as a dimensional error between them, a defect such as a gap does not occur, and an excellent aesthetic feeling can be maintained.
[0033]
In the above embodiment, since the guide portion 35 of the locking member 33 is formed in an inclined shape, the locking member 33 can be easily moved and overcome. Further, since the connecting member 34 is formed in a non-linear shape (bent shape), the substantial length is longer than the linear distance, the elastic deformation is easy, and the locking member 33 can be easily climbed over. Even if there is a variation in the dimensions and mounting position of the frame member 12, the variation is absorbed by the elastic deformation of the connecting member, and the locking member 33 gets over and engages easily and accurately.
[0034]
In the above-described configuration, the locking member 33 is provided with a guide portion during the rotation of the connecting member 34 by bending the both side walls with a height difference of about 0.3 to 1 mm as shown in FIG. It is possible to prevent 35 from biting into the frame member 12. Further, as shown in FIG. 6C, the side wall of the locking member 33 is inclined 20 to 40 degrees as the receding angle α, thereby reducing the amount of deflection of the connecting member 34 when the locking member 33 gets over. be able to. Further, when the engaging portion 36 is provided with an inclination angle of 3 to 7 degrees as the inclination angle β, a pulling force is applied even after the engagement is completed, and the variation in the thickness direction of the frame member 12 is absorbed and firmly held. be able to.
[0035]
In the above-described embodiment, the pillar garnish is integrally formed of the resin having the main body portion 25 and the engagement holding portion 31 having elasticity, so that the manufacture is easy and the dimensional stability is relatively high.
[0036]
FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line DD of FIG. 1 showing another embodiment, and FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a part of the back surface side showing an attachment state.
In this embodiment, the engagement holding part 31 is formed separately from a resin rich in elastic deformation different from the main body part 25, and this is integrally formed by embedding the base part 32 in the main body part 25 by insert molding. Other configurations, operations, and effects are the same as those shown in FIGS.
[0037]
Since the pillar garnish 20 can form the main body portion 25 and the engagement holding portion 31 with different resins, it is possible to use resins suitable for the respective characteristics. For example, the main body can be made of a hard and rigid resin such as an acrylic resin or an AS resin. On the other hand, an elastically deformable resin such as polyamide, polyacetal, polypropylene, or ABS resin can be used for the engagement holding portion 31, and a metal material such as spring steel or stainless steel can be used depending on circumstances. Further, the engagement holding part 31 can be fixed to the main body part 25 by a method such as adhesion, screwing, or caulking with a boss.
[0038]
In the above-described embodiment, the present invention can be similarly applied even when the frame member 12 is not provided. Moreover, although said example is related to a pillar garnish, this invention is applicable also to the other resin molded product for vehicles attached adjacent to another member. In this case, it is possible to form a main body portion, attachment means, and engagement holding portion having a shape and structure corresponding to each.
[0039]
【The invention's effect】
The resin molded product for a vehicle according to the present invention is configured such that when the main body portion is attached to the vehicle body by the attaching means, it is held by being engaged with another adjacent member by the elastically deformable engagement holding portion. Even if there is variation, the positional relationship with other adjacent components is made constant, and defects such as gaps are not generated, and excellent aesthetics can be maintained.
[0040]
When the locking member has an inclined guide portion and a stepped locking portion, and when the connecting member is formed in a non-linear shape, it is easy and reliable to get over the locking member and engage with other members. Can be.
[0041]
In the case where the engagement holding portion is integrally formed with the main body portion using the same resin, manufacturing is easy and dimensional stability is enhanced.
[0042]
When the engagement holding portion is formed separately from the main body portion, a resin molded product can be formed using a resin suitable for each characteristic.
