BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a structure of a magnetic shield part and a heat radiating part of a magnetron which is a kind of microwave tube used for a pulse radar or the like. More particularly, the present invention relates to an improvement in the structure of a magnetron using a rare-earth magnet as a magnet, a magnetic shield part against fluctuations in the temperature characteristics of the magnet and leakage of a magnetic field, and a heat radiation part against heat generation from the oscillation part. .
[0002]
[Prior art]
Here, a typical structure of a conventional magnetron is shown in the cross-sectional views of FIGS. 11 to 12, and the outline of the prior art will be described below. First, the magnetron has an input unit 1 composed of a cathode terminal and a heater terminal for supplying current. Next, it has a magnetic field portion 5 comprising a magnet 2 and a pole piece 3 for supplying a magnetic field, and a yoke 4 for forming a magnetic circuit. And it has the oscillation part 6 which consists of the anode and cathode which excite a microwave by the effect | action of the electric field and the said magnetic field by the said electric current. Furthermore, it has the output part 7 for taking out the excited microwave from the said oscillation part 6 outside, and the
[0003]
In the conventional magnetron described above, an alnico magnet has generally been used for the magnet 2 of the magnetic field unit 5, but nowadays, rare earth magnets are often used to promote lighter and smaller magnetrons. It has become. In general, rare earth magnets have about 5 to 10 times the magnetic field holding power in the same volume as alnico magnets. Therefore, the size of the magnet 2 can be considerably reduced by using a rare earth magnet for the magnet 2. However, the temperature coefficient representing the temperature characteristic of the rare earth magnet is about −0.15 (% / ° C.), which is considerably larger than the temperature coefficient representing the temperature characteristic of the alnico magnet, about −0.05 (% / ° C.). . In other words, the rare earth magnet generally has poor temperature characteristics as compared with the alnico magnet. For this reason, during operation, the temperature characteristics of the rare earth magnet largely fluctuate due to heat mainly from the oscillation unit 6. First of all, the magnetic field supplied to the oscillating unit 6 by the magnet 2 fluctuates, and as a result, the impedance of the magnetron in operation fluctuates, and the overall electrical characteristics such as microwave output, spectrum, and harmonics Will fluctuate. Second, rare earth magnets are small and have strong magnetic force, but magnetic field leakage is therefore larger than that of alnico magnets, affecting the measuring equipment installed outside the magnetron, especially in the vicinity. There is. Thirdly, since the magnetron as a whole is reduced in weight and size as the magnet 2 is reduced in size by using rare earth magnets, the heat dissipation area is reduced although the amount of heat generated from the oscillating unit 6 is not changed. Sufficient heat dissipation cannot be performed, and the temperature of the entire magnetron increases excessively. Increasing the temperature of the magnetron not only deteriorates the electrical characteristics, but sometimes has serious consequences such as shortening the service life. Both of these are major problems for magnetrons, and at the same time, they are major problems for pulse radar that can affect the original performance.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, a magnetron using a rare earth magnet as the magnet 2 generally has the following problems. First, the magnetic field supplied to the oscillating unit 6 by the magnet 2 fluctuates as the temperature rises. As a result, the impedance of the operating magnetron fluctuates, and the overall electrical characteristics fluctuate. Secondly, although the rare earth magnet is small and has a strong magnetic force, the leakage of the magnetic field is large and affects the measuring equipment installed outside the magnetron, particularly in the vicinity thereof. Thirdly, since the entire magnetron is reduced in weight and size as the magnet 2 is reduced in size and weight, the heat dissipation area is reduced. As a result, sufficient heat dissipation cannot be performed, and the temperature of the entire magnetron increases excessively. In order to solve these problems, the present invention is lighter and smaller than a conventional magnetron that uses an alnico magnet as the magnet 2, changes in the magnetic field due to the temperature characteristics of the magnet 2, and leakage of the magnetic field to the outside of the magnetron. It is an object of the present invention to provide a magnetron using a rare earth magnet for the magnet 2 in which the magnet 2 is suppressed and the heat dissipation effect of the entire magnetron is good.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, in the present invention, the above-described problems have been solved by the following first to fourth means. First of all, a magnetic field section comprising an input section 1 comprising a cathode terminal and a heater terminal for supplying a current, a magnet 2 and pole piece 3 for supplying a magnetic field, and a yoke 4 for forming a magnetic circuit. 5 and an oscillating unit 6 composed of an anode and a cathode for exciting the microwave by the action of the electric field and the magnetic field by the current, and an output unit 7 for taking out the excited microwave from the oscillating unit 6 to the outside. Between the magnetic field part 5 and the

Second, in order to efficiently dissipate the heat generated mainly from the oscillating unit 6 to the outside efficiently, the non-magnetic material is made of a good heat conductor, and the oscillating unit 6 and the

The outline of the structure is as follows. First, the detailed structure of the magnetic shield portion 9 is as shown in FIG. The magnetic shield part 9 is shaped to cover the magnet 2 and pole piece 3 and the yoke 4 for forming a magnetic circuit for the purpose of shielding the magnetic field. And the part which the thermal
[0010]
The operation and effect of the magnetic shield unit 9 are as follows. Originally, the magnetic shield part 9 is for shielding a magnetic field leaking from the magnet 2. In the present invention as well, the magnetic field from a rare earth magnet having a large amount of leakage as compared with a conventional alnico magnet is primarily used. It plays the role of shielding leaks. In the present invention, the effect of the magnetic shield portion 9 on the magnet 2 is further used to correct the temperature coefficient of the rare-earth magnet having a larger fluctuation than the alnico magnet. That is, when the magnetic shield unit 9 is brought closer to the oscillating unit 6, the leakage of the magnetic field increases and the supply of the magnetic field to the oscillating unit 6 is reduced. Conversely, when the magnetic shield unit 9 is separated from the oscillating unit 6, the leakage of the magnetic field occurs. The fact that the magnetic field is supplied to the oscillating unit 6 is increased and is used is reduced. Since the magnetic shield portion 9 has a substantially convex shape in the direction of the

【The invention's effect】
As described above, even if the magnetron magnet 2 is reduced in weight and size by using a rare earth magnet, temperature characteristics comparable to those of a conventional magnetron using an alnico magnet can be maintained. FIG. 10 also shows the difference in voltage fluctuation (δE PY) with respect to temperature change. All show the effect of the magnetron using the rare earth magnet according to the present invention. Naturally, this is effective in reducing the occurrence of defects in the magnetron, and thus also helps to extend the life of the magnetron.
