本発明は、ベッド等の傍らに置いて利用される床頭台に関するものである。

病院や老人ホーム等では、ベッドから手が届く範囲に必要な身の回り品やテレビ等を置いて闘病生活や療養生活を送ることが多い。床頭台はこのような場合に利用されるもので、テレビ等を載置する天板や小物類を入れる引出し等が備え付けられ、利用者の不自由なきように配慮されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、かかる従来の床頭台には、下記に述べるような不具合がある。

従来の床頭台には、本体下部に片開きの扉を備えているものが少なくない。具体的には、本体下部に片開きの扉が予め決まった位置でのみ蝶着されており、ベッドの配置等によっては著しく不便を伴うことがあるが、このような不具合を解消するために扉の吊元を選択的に設定できるようにすると、利用者が操作位置を誤ることがあり、特に病人にとってはこのような手間が苦痛となることがある。

上記の不具合を解決するために、本発明の床頭台は、扉の吊元を選択可能とするに際して、手の甲を上にして指を掛けることができる取手用凹陥部及び突条を形成すると同時に、その突条に操作位置を示すマーカを移動可能に設けることとしている。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の床頭台は、扉の右側縁又は左側縁のいずれか一方を床頭台本体に選択的に蝶着し得るようにしたものであって、扉の上縁に、前面及び上面に開放された取手用凹陥部を形成するとともに、この凹陥部の前縁部分に該凹陥部の横幅寸法よりも短寸な指掛用の突条を設け、その突条に、開成時に指を掛けるべき位置を指示するためのマーカを、左右移動可能に装着していることを特徴とする。

以下、本発明の一実施例を、図面を参照して説明する。

この実施例の床頭台は、図1〜図3に示すように、床頭台本体1の前面に引出し2、芯出しテーブル3及び扉4を配設し、上面に天板5を載置し、側面にタオルハンガ6を取り付けるとともに、前記天板5の更に上方に昇降機構7を介して可動板8を昇降可能に支持させてなるものである。

床頭台本体1は、図4及び図5に示すように、板金製の底板11の上面に、同じく板金製の左右の側板12及び背板13を平面視コ字形に連結して立設することにより構成されている。

底板11は、下面の前部両隅近傍にロック機能付きの偏平キャスタ11aと、下面の後部両隅近傍にロック機能無しの偏平キャスタ11aaとを取着したもので、床頭台本体1を滑動可能に支持している。このロック機能付きの偏平キャスタ11aは、図4、図24、図25に示すように、下面が開口した円筒状のケース11a1と、このケース11a1に旋回可能に支持させた車輪11a2および補助車輪11a3と、ケース11a1の上面に突没可能に装着した円柱状のロック操作用釦11a4とを具備してなる。そして、このロック操作用釦11a4を押して図25に示す没入状態にすると車輪11a2がロックされ、没入状態からもう一度ロック操作用釦11a4を押すと図24に示すように突出状態となり、車輪11a2のロックが解除される構造を有している。本実施例では、図4に示すように底板11の下面前部に上面が開口するキャスタ保持用チャンネル材11Aを配設し、このチャンネル材11Aの両端部に偏平キャスタ11aを取着するとともに、底板11の偏平キャスタ11aを取着する位置に貫通孔11Bを設け、この貫通孔11Bからロック操作用釦11a4を底板11の上面に突没可能に表出させている。偏平キャスタ11aの取着位置は、図24に示すように、ロック解除状態でロック操作用釦11a4が底板11の上面よりも突出するようにし、図25に示すようにロック状態でその上面が底板11の上面と略面一となるように設定している。キャスタ保持用チャンネル材11Aは、図24,25に示すように例えば二重底構造のもので、下側の底板11Cにはケースが嵌入し得る孔11Dが穿設してあり、上側の底板11Eには、ロック操作用釦11a4が挿入できる孔11Fが穿設してある。しかして、この孔11Dからキャスタ11aを嵌入して、ケース11a1上面を上側の底板11E下面に当接させキャスタ11aを保持する。なお底板11には単に貫通孔11Bを穿設しておくだけでも構わないが、図24、25に示すように、この貫通孔11Bにブッシング11Gを嵌め込んでもよい。このようにしたうえで、このブッシング11Gにロック操作用釦11a4を挿入するようにすれば、ロック操作用釦11a4がブッシング11Gに案内されガタなくスムーズに動くので使い勝手がさらに良くなる。また、図24、25で貫通孔11Bの周囲に凹み11Hを設けているのは、ブッシング11Gの上面を底板11の上面と略面一にするためである。

側板12は、面板部の前縁に内側後方に屈曲する前折曲部12aを有し、上縁に内方へ屈曲する上折曲部12bを有し、内面に内方端を上向係合片12cとする横断面Z形のレール支持部材12dを取着してなるもので、左右の側板12の前上部間及び前中間部間をそれぞれ横桟14、15によって連結するとともに、面板部の内面に引出し2及び芯出しテーブル3をスライド可能に支持するレール部材16を取着している。レール部材16は、横断面E字形をなす樹脂一体成形品で、そのE字部分に長手方向に沿って伸びる上レール部16a及び下レール部16bを設定するとともに、上端近傍に上向爪16cを外側方に向けて突設し、前端に前向爪16dを前方に向けて突設し、下端に下向爪16eを外側方に向けて突設し、後端に後述する昇降機構7の構成要素であるフレームガイド71を一体突設している。そして、このレール部材16を若干傾けて先ずその上向爪16cを上折曲部12bの内面に係合させ、前向爪16dを前折曲部12aに設けたスリット12eに通過させた後、下向爪16eをレール支持部材12dの上向係合片12cに係合させて、所要部位をビス16fによりレール支持部材12dに止着している。必要であればこのレール部材16の上縁側を上折曲部12bに止着してもよい。この状態において、前向爪16dはスリット12eに対する位相が上下方向にずれて再度の抜出が防止され、レール部材16の上端16gは側板12の上折曲部12bの上面と略面一なる位置に配設される。

天板5は、図5〜図7に示すように、上面中央に凹み51を有し、下面に格子状にリブ52を突設した樹脂素材からなる偏平筐状のもので、この天板5のリブ52の下端52aを前記側板12及び背板13の各上折曲部12b、13a並びに横桟14の上面にそれぞれ添設して、その肉厚内に設けたビス挿通孔53に挿通したビス53aを横桟14に設けたビス孔14aに締着している。この天板5の中央には後述するターンテーブル9を選択的に取り付けるための厚み方向に貫通するテーブル取付部90が下端にナット90aを付帯させた状態で設けられ、後端隅部近傍には後述する昇降機構7の構成要素であるフレーム70を挿通するためのボス孔55が下方に向けて突設されている。この天板5は、床頭台本体1や引出し2、芯出しテーブル3等に対してオーバハングさせてある。

引出し2は、図1、図2、図3、図5及び図8に示すように、引出し本体21と、鏡板22とを具備してなる。引出し本体21は、中央に物品収納用の凹部21aを有し、左右の側壁21bの上縁部に水平外側方に突出する突条21cが設けられた樹脂一体成形品で、その突条21cが左右のレール部材16の下レール部16bにスライド可能に係合保持される。この引出し本体21の前壁上部21dは前壁下部21eに対して前方に突出しており、その前壁上部21dに前面及び上面に開口する取手用凹陥部21fが形成されている。この凹陥部21fの前縁中央部分には該凹陥部21fの横幅寸法よりも短寸な指掛用の突条21gが設けられており、突条21gが設けられていない前縁左右両端部分は凹陥部21fの奥部に滑らかに連続している。鏡板22は、引出し本体21の前壁下部21eに、その前面が前壁上部21dの前面に対して面一となるように取着される木製のもので、木目その他適宜仕様のものが選択される。しかして、この引出し2には、錠機構23が設けられている。錠機構23は、図5及び図9に示すように、二重筒構造をなす本体部23aの後端に取付板部23bを有したもので、鏡板22及び引出し本体21の前壁下部21eに連通して設けられた貫通孔23cに後方から本体部23aを差し込んでそのキー差込口23dを前面側に表出させ、且つ取付板部23bを前壁下部21eの背面に当接させて、鏡板22から挿通した図示しないビスにより取付板部23bを前壁下部21eの背面に引き付けて定着している。この錠機構23は、キー差込口23dにキーを差し込んでロック/ロック解除操作を行うと、本体部23aの後端側より側方に向けてレバー23fが突没し、このレバー23fが側板12の前折曲部12aの内面に設けられている前記とは異なるスリット12fに係脱される。また、この錠機構12は、別のマスターキーを差し込んで所定の操作をすることにより、本体部23aから内筒のみを取り出して交換可能とされている。

芯出しテーブル3は、図1、図2、図3、図5及び図8に示すように、引出し2の前壁上部21dと横桟14との隙間から床頭台本体1内に挿入されるもので、少なくとも上面が偏平な板状をなす樹脂一体成形品であり、その左右の縁部31が対応するレール部材16の上レール部16aにスライド可能に係合保持されるとともに、芯出しテーブル3に設けられた抜止機構32により該芯出しテーブル3を所定の引き出し位置で抜出不能に係止するようにしている。この抜止機構32は、芯出しテーブル3の後端近傍の左右二箇所に突設され前方斜面が後方斜面よりも高傾斜である山形の弾性突起32aと、下面がこの弾性突起32aよりも低い位置にある前記横桟14とから構成される。弾性突起32aは、図21に拡大して示すように、下端32bが前下方に伸びて芯出しテーブル3の下面よりも低い位置にまで垂下している。この芯出しテーブル3を床頭台本体1に向かって押し込むと、弾性突起32aを経過的に没入させながら横桟14の下方を通過する位置にまで芯出しテーブル3が移動した時点で弾性突起32aが突出位置に復帰し、再度芯出しテーブル3を引き出してもこの弾性突起32aの斜面が横桟14の後端面に当接してその抜出防止が図られる。この芯出しテーブル3は、下方に配設される引出し2が前方に引き出されている図8の状態で、引出し2の開口から手を差し込んで弾性突起32aの下端32bに爪や指を引っ掛けて下方へ押し下げることにより、横桟14との係合を解除して床頭台本体1から抜き取ることができる。

扉4は、図1〜図3並びに図10〜図12に示すように、床頭台本体1の下半部の開口端面に右側縁4a又は左側縁4bを選択して蝶持機構40により蝶着される。この扉4は、周縁を折り曲げて背面側に下端面41、上端面42及び側端面43を枠状に突出させた板金製のもので、前面側の上縁に樹脂製の上部扉受け部材49を前面が面一となるように取着している。蝶持機構40は、扉4の下端面41を下側から支持すべく床頭台本体1に突設された左右一対の下ヒンジ部材45と、扉4の上端面41を上側から支持すべく床頭台本体1の開口端面から突設された上ヒンジ部材46と、扉4の右側縁4a又は左側縁4bを対応する下ヒンジ部材45に軸着する下鉛直軸47と、扉4の右側縁4a又は左側縁4bを前記上ヒンジ部材46に軸着する上鉛直軸48とを具備してなる。下ヒンジ部材45は、右端近傍部及び左端近傍部にそれぞれ鉛直方向の軸孔45aが開口する平滑面45bを有した上半部と、斜下前方に向いて設けられた傾斜面45cを有する下半部とからなるバンパー状のもので、上半部の背面に図示しない上向きの係合爪を突設し、下半部の背面に下向きの弾性突起45eを突設し、下半部の傾斜面45cに背面側に貫通するボルト挿通孔45fを設けている。一方、床頭台本体1の開口端面たる底板11の前端面には、その右側縁近傍及び左側縁近傍に対をなす取付孔11b及び係止孔11cがそれぞれ設けてある。そして、前記係合爪45dを取付孔11bの上縁側に係合させた後、下向きの弾性突起を係止孔11cに向けて押圧することによってその下縁に弾性係合させ、その位置でボルト挿通孔45fに前面側から挿通したボルト45gで下半部を底板11の前端面方向に締め付けることにより、該下ヒンジ部材45を底板11の前端面よりも前方へ突出した位置に止着している。その際、ボルト45gを締め込むと、それに応じて下ヒンジ部材45の下半部が底板11の前端面に近づき、その反力で上半部が底板11の前面から前方に浮き上がるため、このような傾動動作を利用して微小なレベル調整が可能である。なお、左右の下ヒンジ部材45は互いに同一形状のものとされている。上ヒンジ部材46は、右端近傍部及び左端近傍部にそれぞれ鉛直方向の軸孔46aを有した平板部46bと、この平板部46bの後方から垂下する取付片46cとを具備してなるもので、その平板部46bを床頭台本体1の開口端面たる横桟15の前端面の左右両側縁近傍に設けたスリット15aの何れか一方に後方から挿入して先端を前方に延出させた後、横桟15に設けられたビス挿通孔15bに前面側から挿通したビス46dにより前記取付片46cを横桟15の背面に引き付けて、該上ヒンジ部材46を横桟15の前端面よりも前方へ突出した位置に取り付けている。そして、扉4の下端面41の左右両側縁近傍に設けた左右一対の軸孔42aの一方に上方から下鉛直軸47を挿通し、その下鉛直軸47をワッシャー47aを介して対応する位置にある下ヒンジ部材45の外側の軸孔45aに装着するとともに、同じ側縁上にある上ヒンジ部材46の外側の軸孔46aに上方から上鉛直軸48を挿通し、その上鉛直軸48を上扉受け部材49を貫通して扉4の上端面42の側縁近傍に設けられた対応する軸孔42aに装着することにより、該扉4の側縁4a又は4bを鉛直軸回りに軸着し、床頭台本体1の下部空間を開閉可能に蝶着するようにしている。この実施例では、扉4の吊元が右側縁に設定されている。吊元を変更するときは、ビス46dを外し、上ヒンジ部材46ごと付け替える。また、前記上ヒンジ部材46は、引出し2を押し込んだときにその引出し2の鏡板22に設けられている下面及び背面に開放された凹部22aによって干渉が防止されると同時に前方及び側方からの目視が遮断される設計になっている。前記上扉受け部材49には、前面及び上面に開放された取手用凹陥部49aが形成されるとともに、この凹陥部49aの前縁中央部分に該凹陥部49aの横幅寸法よりも短寸な指掛用の突条49bが設けられ、突条49bが設けられていない前縁左右両端部分は凹陥部49aの奥部に滑らかに連続している。突条49bには樹脂製のマーカ49cが左右移動可能に装着され、扉4の開成時に指を掛けるべき位置を明示している。なお、前記床頭台本体1の下部空間の奥には空間利用効率を高めるための棚板17が配設されている。

タオルハンガ6は、図1並びに図13〜図15に示すように、線条体を平面視コ字形に折曲げ、更に基端部61に上方に屈曲する屈曲部分62を設けてなるもので、天板5の側壁5aに側方へ引き出し可能に保持される。即ち、天板5の側壁5aにはタオルハンガ6の基端部61を挿入するための挿入孔56が設けられ、また側壁5aの内方にリブ52の一部を切欠することにより係止リブ57が形成されていて、天板5の挿通孔56に挿通したタオルハンガ6の基端部61を係止リブ57に係止させ、屈曲部分62をその係止リブ57よりも内方に位置させた状態で、天板5を床頭台本体1に装着することにより、タオルハンガ6の基端部61を側板12の上折曲部12bにより下側から当接支持し、かつ係止リブ57により屈曲部分62を係止して、タオルハンガ6を抜止不能に保持している。

昇降機構7は、図1〜図5、図18及び図19に示すように、可動板8を片持ち的に支持するフレーム70と、このフレーム70の鉛直部を摺動可能に保持するフレームガイド71と、フレーム70を所要の高さ位置でフレームガイド71に固定する固定手段72とを具備してなる。フレーム70は、水平部70bと鉛直部70aの間が緩やかに湾曲したスチールパイプ製のもので、その水平部70bを前記可動板8のフレーム装着部83に装着して可動板8の裏面から挿通したビス83aにより可動板8の下面に止着され、鉛直部70aを下方に垂下させて配設された逆L字状のものである。フレームガイド71は、前述したレール部材16の後端に一体成形されてなるもので、天板5のボス孔55の内周に連続するフレーム挿通孔71aを有した筒状のものである。フレーム挿通孔71aの上端近傍はボス孔55の外径に略等しい程度にまで拡径させてあるとともに、開口端に更に拡径したテーパ面71bが設けてあり、ボス孔55の一部が容易に挿入可能となっている。固定手段72は、フレーム70の鉛直部70aの後縁に一定間隔で設けたネジ孔72aと、ボス孔55の前記ねじ孔72aに連通し得る位置に設けたネジ挿通孔55aと、天板5の後壁5bの前記ネジ挿通孔55aに連続する位置に設けたネジ挿通孔55bと、基端にグリップ73aを有するネジ73とを具備してなるもので、このネジ73を前記天板5及びフレームガイド71の各挿通孔71a、55aに挿通してフレーム70のねじ孔72aに螺合させ締め付けることによって、フレーム70を引き寄せ、フレームガイド71の内周面に密着させて固定するようにしている。フレームガイド71はレール部材16に一体に設けられているため、レール部材16が適正に取り付けられている限り、フレームガイド71もフレーム70を安定して支持する。なお、このフレームガイド71は、取付位置でその後端面71cが背板13の前面に添設され、側面71dが該側面71dに設けたリブ71eを介して側板12の内面に添設する。しかして、固定機構12によりフレーム70を固定し得る位置は、図8において可動板8がA、B、Cそれぞれの位置に来たとき、詳述すればターンテーブル9までの隙間寸法が440mm、320mm、150mmとなるように設定され、更にDの位置にあるときにその隙間が狭小となるように設定される。440mmは14インチのテレビTVが配置可能な寸法に、320mmは10inchのテレビTVが配置可能な寸法に、150mmは缶ジュースが配置可能な寸法にそれぞれ対応している。また、図2、図3及び図22に示すようにテレビTVを置いた状態で該テレビTVの上面と可動板8との間には僅かの隙間が確保されるように設定してあり、前記空間に対するテレビTVの出し入れ容易性と、地震発生時におけるテレビTVの落下防止とが両立されている。最下位置Dは床頭台全体を梱包するときの便宜を考慮してのものである。また、可動板8の耐荷重は、本実施例の場合20kg前後が確保され、図23に示すように可動板8の上にもテレビTV等を十分載置できる強度が付与されている。なお、この床頭台は天板5及び可動板8に図7及び図17に示すようにテーブル取付部90を設け、このテーブル取付部90にターンテーブル9を着脱可能に保持させるようにしている。テーブル取付部90は、天板5及び可動板8の上面中心部に設けた軸孔状のもので、そのテーブル取付部90の下面にナット90aが固設してある。一方、ターンテーブル9は、図1及び図20に示すように、下面に少なくとも同心円状に複数の円形リブ91を有した樹脂成形品とされており、その下端91aをテフロン等の滑動性のある素材からなるシート部材93を介して天板5の上面又は可動板8の上面に添設し、テーブル取付部90に筒状の取付具94を挿入した後、その取付具94に上方から挿入したボルト95を天板5又は可動板8の下面に固設したナット90aに螺装して締め付けることにより、ターンテーブル9を回転可能に取り付けるようにしている。ターンテーブル9はシート部材93を介して比較的小さな摺動抵抗で天板5上又は可動板8上を回転することができる。
