BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a moisture curable fluid curing reduction method and apparatus for making it difficult to cure, for example, during the operation of discharging a fluid that cures by reacting with moisture such as in the air.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, moisture curable fluids have been used as sealing agents and adhesives, for example, in the production process of electronic devices. The moisture-curable fluid maintains fluidity in a dry state, and starts to cure when it is exposed to moisture such as moisture in the air. In order to perform the discharge operation of the sealant or the like with high productivity in the production process, it is desirable to have characteristics that prevent curing until discharging and quickly cure after discharging. Moisture curable sealants are hardly cured in the dry state, so they are easy to store and handle. After discharge, moisture in the air reacts and cures quickly, making it easy to handle after discharge. .

[0009]
As in the prior art of Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-229484, when the moisture curable adhesive is being supplied, dry air or the like is blown as a gas jet to prevent curing, but if the discharge pause period becomes longer, the applicator The moisture curable adhesive may be cured near the tip of the needle or the like.
[0010]
An object of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for reducing the curing of a moisture curable fluid that can prevent curing and improve productivity with a simple configuration.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a method for reducing hardening around a discharge port until a fluid having a property of curing by reacting with moisture is discharged from a nozzle having a discharge port at a tip toward a discharge target. ,
An opening into which the nozzle can be inserted is provided in the vicinity of the discharge target, and a chamber is provided that surrounds the tip of the nozzle during insertion. The opening is closed by the valve plate, and the valve plate is pushed away from the opening when the nozzle is inserted. A stand installation step for installing a possible nozzle stand;
A chamber drying step for filling the stand chamber with a dry gas;
A discharge step for discharging the fluid from the discharge port at the tip of the nozzle outside the nozzle stand,
Including a standby step of inserting a nozzle into the chamber by pushing the valve plate from the opening of the nozzle stand and waiting for discharge toward the next discharge target, and reducing the curing of the moisture-curable fluid Is the method.
[0012]
According to the present invention, the chamber surrounding the nozzle inserted from the opening of the nozzle stand is filled with dry gas. After the fluid is discharged from the nozzle outlet outside the nozzle stand opening, the nozzle is inserted through the opening and the fluid near the outlet is placed in a dry gas atmosphere to prevent curing. . Since an opening is provided in the chamber of the nozzle stand, if dry gas is supplied into the room, moist air existing in the room is expelled from the opening and the room can be filled with dry gas. Since the opening is closed by the valve plate, the consumption of dry gas can be reduced. If the nozzle is inserted into the chamber filled with dry gas and waits, the fluid near the discharge port at the tip of the nozzle has a small amount of moisture in the surrounding area, so the curing reaction rate decreases. Therefore, the time until the discharge variation due to curing occurs is significantly increased. Accordingly, it is not necessary to clean the nozzle tip, and workability can be improved.
[0013]
In the present invention, the dry gas is generated by dehumidifying the compressed air supplied into the factory so that the relative humidity is equal to or lower than a preset reference value.
[0014]
According to the present invention, as the dry gas, the compressed air supplied into the factory is dehumidified and supplied, so that a large amount of dry gas can be easily obtained. Since the dehumidification of the compressed air is performed such that the relative humidity is equal to or lower than a preset reference value, the vicinity of the nozzle tip can be sufficiently dried.
[0015]
In the present invention, the fluid is a sealant.
According to the present invention, when discharging the sealant as a moisture-curable fluid, the inside of the standby nozzle stand is dried to prevent the sealant from being cured around the nozzle outlet, and after discharge, air is discharged. It can be cured rapidly by reacting with moisture such as the inside, and the discharge target such as electronic equipment can be efficiently and reliably sealed.

While inserting a nozzle having a discharge port at the tip from the section and waiting, the nozzle is pulled out of the nozzle stand, and a moisture curable fluid having a property of curing by reacting with moisture is discharged toward the discharge target. can do. Before inserting the nozzle into the nozzle stand, a dry gas can be injected into the chamber inside the nozzle stand, and the moist air can be expelled from the opening to sufficiently dry the indoor atmosphere.
In addition, a valve plate is provided at the opening where the nozzle is inserted into the nozzle stand, and the opening is closed when the nozzle is not inserted from the opening into the nozzle stand. Gas consumption can be reduced.
[0018]
According to the present invention, the nozzle stand is characterized in that the nozzle can be inserted in an inclined posture and held in an inclined state.
[0019]
According to the present invention, since the inclined nozzle can be inserted into the nozzle stand from the opening, the nozzle can be easily attached to and detached from the nozzle stand in an inclined state.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the nozzle stand is filled with the dry gas, and the nozzle that discharges the moisture-curable fluid is inserted into the chamber from the opening so that the fluid flows near the discharge port at the tip of the nozzle. It is possible to make it difficult for the body to harden and to cause the discharge amount to vary or to become impossible to discharge. This eliminates the need to clean the nozzle tip and improves the productivity of the work of discharging the fluid. Also, consumables required for cleaning are reduced. In particular, when the curing time of the moisture curable fluid is short, covering the periphery of the nozzle outlet with a dry gas can eliminate the cleaning of the nozzle and improve the operating rate. Furthermore, since the opening is closed by the valve plate when the nozzle is not inserted, the consumption of dry gas can be reduced.
[0041]
Further, according to the present invention, the drying rate of the moisture curable fluid is reduced by using the dry air obtained by dehumidifying the compressed air supplied into the factory so that the relative humidity is not more than a predetermined reference value. Since curing is prevented, cost and handling are easier than using nitrogen as the dry gas.
[0042]
Moreover, according to this invention, a sealing agent can be discharged with high productivity as a moisture-curable fluid.
[0043]
Furthermore, according to the present invention, the nozzle stand is filled with dry gas in its interior chamber, and it is necessary to prevent curing while waiting while inserting the nozzle from the opening facing the interior chamber of the nozzle stand. Sometimes the nozzle can be taken out of the nozzle stand and the moisture curable fluid can be discharged onto the discharge target. A dry gas can be injected into the chamber inside the nozzle stand by a gas injection means. By inserting the dry gas before inserting the nozzle from the opening of the nozzle stand, the periphery can be covered with the dry gas when the nozzle is inserted. Since the moisture-curable fluid is hardly solidified near the tip of the nozzle, it is not necessary to perform a cleaning operation for the fluid that has solidified and adhered, thereby further improving productivity.
Further, since the opening of the nozzle stand can be closed when the nozzle is not inserted by the valve plate, when the nozzle is not inserted into the opening, the dry gas injected by the gas injection means into the chamber inside the nozzle is discharged from the opening to the outside. It becomes difficult to leak and the consumption of dry gas can be reduced.
[0044]
Further, according to the present invention, the nozzle can be attached to and detached from the nozzle stand, so that the operation of attaching and detaching the nozzle to and from the opening of the nozzle stand can be easily performed.
[0046]
Further, according to the present invention, the opening provided in the nozzle stand is formed so as to increase in size from the side facing the internal chamber toward the outside, so that the nozzle can be easily inserted into the opening. it can.
