BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a radiator upper mounting structure for a water-cooled engine of a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, a water-cooled engine radiator disposed at the front of a vehicle is detachably attached to a vehicle body frame. The mounting structure of such a water-cooled engine radiator will be described with reference to FIG.

[0007]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a technique that can further suppress the vertical movement of the water-cooled engine radiator and that can sufficiently absorb the collision force when the collision force acts on the water-cooled engine radiator from the front.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to a first aspect of the present invention, a water-cooled engine radiator is disposed at the front portion of the vehicle body frame, the first stay is extended rearward from the upper portion of the water-cooled engine radiator, and a tip portion of the radiator is mounted on the vehicle body frame. Attached to the top of the front, the second stay extends from the top of the water-cooled engine radiator to the lower side, and its tip is attached to the front side of the body frame so that it can swing back and forth. The first stay is provided with a weakened portion that can be deformed when a collision force acts on the first stay.
[0009]
The upper part of the radiator is supported by both the first stay that extends backward from the upper part of the radiator and the second stay that extends downward from the upper part of the radiator, so that the vertical movement of the radiator is further suppressed when driving on rough roads. can do.
Further, when a collision force is applied to the first and second stays via the water-cooled engine radiator from the front, the fragile portion of the first stay is deformed and the second stay can be swung backward. . For this reason, it is easy for the radiator to tilt backward due to the collision force. The radiator can sufficiently absorb and relieve the collision force by tilting backward.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the first stay and the second stay are integrally formed products having a substantially L shape in plan view, which are integrally formed with each other.
By making the first stay and the second stay an integrally molded product, the number of parts of the stay can be reduced and the cost can be reduced. Furthermore, since the first stay extending from the upper part of the radiator to the rear and the second stay extending from the upper part of the radiator to the lower side are made into an integrally molded product having a substantially L shape in plan view formed integrally with each other. The vertical movement of the radiator can be more smoothly transmitted to the first stay and the second stay. Therefore, the radiator can be supported more stably. In addition, the collision force from the front can be more smoothly transmitted from the radiator to both the first stay and the second stay.

【The invention's effect】
The present invention exhibits the following effects by the above configuration.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the first stay is extended rearward from the upper part of the radiator for the water-cooled engine, the tip thereof is attached to the upper part of the front part of the vehicle body frame, and the second stay is extended downward from the upper part of the radiator for the water-cooled engine. In addition, by attaching the front end to the front side of the body frame, the upper part of the radiator is supported by both the first stay and the second stay, so the vertical movement of the radiator can be further suppressed when traveling on rough roads. Can do.
[0038]
Further, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the first stay extends from the upper part of the water-cooled engine radiator to the rear, the front end of the first stay is attached to the front upper part of the vehicle body frame, and the second stay extends downward from the upper part of the water-cooled engine radiator. The front end of the vehicle body frame is swingably attached to the front end of the vehicle body frame, and the weakened portion that can be deformed when a collision force is applied to the first stay from the front via the water-cooled engine radiator. When the impact force is applied to the first and second stays via the water-cooled engine radiator from the front, the fragile portion of the first stay is deformed and the second stay is swung backward. Can do. For this reason, it is easy for the radiator to tilt backward due to the collision force. The radiator can sufficiently absorb and mitigate the collision force by tilting backward.
[0039]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the first stay and the second stay are integrally formed, so that the number of parts of the stay can be reduced and the cost can be reduced. Moreover, the collision force from the front can be transmitted more smoothly from the radiator to both the first stay and the second stay.
