【前記目的を達成するための手段】
本発明は前記目的を達成するために以下の如き手段を採用した。
（１）請求項１の発明は、洗面台と、この洗面台の後部上方に配された、鏡を有する化粧キャビネットと、前記洗面台の側方に配された側部キャビネットとを有しており、前記側部キャビネットが下側キャビネットと上側キャビネットとを有する洗面化粧台ユニットにおいて、前記上側キャビネットは少なくとも１つの物品載置棚を有すると共に洗面台側に物品出し入れ口を有する合成樹脂製本体を有しており、前記合成樹脂製本体が、化粧キャビネットの側面に対向する、化粧キャビネットの側面の前後長さに等しい又はほぼ等しい対向壁と、この対向壁の前縁に連設された左右方向に渡る後部壁とを有しているものである。
（２）請求項２の発明は、前記対向壁が化粧キャビネットの側面に密接させられている請求項１記載のものである。

【発明の効果】
本発明は前記した如き構成によって以下の如き効果を奏するものである。
（１）請求項１の発明によれば、使い勝手が悪く且つ掃除も行ないにくい、化粧キャビネットの側面に対向する合成樹脂製本体の空間が隠蔽されているので、意匠的にスッキリしたものとすることが出来る。
（２）請求項２の発明によれば、対向壁が化粧キャビネットの側面に密接させられていて、上側キャビネットと化粧キャビネットとの間に間隙があかないので、洗面化粧台ユニットに対面した際、上側キャビネットと化粧キャビネットとが一連に見え、意匠的にスッキリしたものとすることが出来る。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照しつつ説明する。

なお、対向壁３３の下縁には、バックガード１１の側部に対向すると共に水飛散防止壁３０に連なる壁が連設されている。
