Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rolling method and control device for a ring-shaped material to be rolled by a ring rolling mill.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Ring rolling forming rolling is the target radial direction by rolling the thickness of the annular rough land, which is a rolling material, with a large diameter main roll and a rod-shaped mandrel, and the height with a conical edger roll. Finished product with dimensions and height.
[0003]
In such ring rolling forming rolling, the thickness direction and height direction are simultaneously rolled, so it is very difficult to improve the finishing accuracy of the product while ensuring the rolling efficiency, and the core part of the control of the ring rolling mill At present, it is a know-how based on the experience of a skilled person how to determine what parameters are to determine the rolling progress pattern.
[0004]
As a prior art for the control method of such a ring rolling mill, there is an automatic rolling force control method in a ring rolling mill described in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 54-155977.
In the control method disclosed in the publication, the diameter and the axial width of the waste material, which is the workpiece material, are in the process of being compressed from the final dimension of the workpiece as the workpiece product to the width of the axial dimension. While the correlation information of both dimensions in the entire area or partial area is stored in advance in an information processing apparatus such as a microcomputer, the actual dimensions of the workpiece are sampled at timely timing during rolling, and the information processing apparatus Incorporating each sampling size of the workpiece at each timing, that is, detecting the deviation of the actual workpiece diameter and width from the correlation information dimension, and reducing the deviation in the radial direction and the axial direction It is to increase or decrease the rolling force.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 54-155977 does not disclose any specific contents of the correlation information of the diameter dimension and the width dimension.
For this reason, in the rolling process, for example, even if rolling based on the correlation between the diameter dimension and the width dimension is performed as in the prior art, it is not clear what correlation should be based on, and eventually The control method of the previous example does not exceed the range of know-how based on the experience of engineers.
[0006]
In this way, since the core part of the most important control in the rolling of ring-shaped rolled material is know-how based on experience, the superiority or inferiority of experience and know-how affects the forming state of the rolled material. In FIG. 4, dents (indentation in the height direction) 1a and 1b and dents (indentation in the thickness direction) 1c and 1d on both sides are generated.
[0007]
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and shows a ring-shaped coating by a ring rolling mill for showing a rolling progress pattern that has been conventionally known and obtaining a good product ring by the ring rolling mill. It aims at obtaining the rolling method and control apparatus of a rolling material.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A rolling method of a ring-shaped rolled material using a ring rolling mill according to the present invention includes a main roll and a mandrel that perform thickness reduction in the radial direction of the ring-shaped rolled material, and an axial direction of the ring-shaped rolled material. A method of rolling a ring-shaped rolled material by a ring rolling mill comprising a pair of upper and lower edger rolls that perform height reduction, and a tracer that detects the outer diameter of the ring-shaped rolled material,
The cross-sectional shape is changed so that the height variation / thickness variation of the ring-shaped rolled material satisfies a substantially constant value in the range of 0.36 to 0.47, and the radial thickness per rotation A rolling step in which the rolling reduction is 0.9 to 1.1% is included in the entire region or a partial region in the middle of rolling.
[0009]
Further, the control device of the ring rolling mill includes a main roll and a mandrel for reducing the thickness of the ring-shaped rolled material in the radial direction, and a pair of upper and lower edger rolls for reducing the axial height of the rolled material. A control device for a ring rolling mill comprising a tracer for detecting the outer diameter of the material to be rolled,
The control device includes a control unit that stores a rolling progress pattern and performs position control of the mandrel and the edger roll based on the rolling progress pattern, and the rolling progress pattern includes a change in height of the ring-shaped workpiece. The cross-sectional shape is changed so that the amount / thickness change amount is in the range of 0.36 to 0.47, and the radial thickness reduction rate per rotation is 0.9 to 1. The rolling process which becomes 1% is included in the whole area or partial area in the middle of rolling.
[0010]
Further, the control unit includes mandrel position detection means for detecting the position of the mandrel, edger roll position detection means for detecting the height position of the edger roll, and tracer position detection means for detecting the position of the tracer. Are input detection signals of each of these detection means, calculate the shape of the material to be rolled in the middle of rolling from these signals, and compare this with the shape of the material to be rolled by the rolling progress pattern, If there is a deviation between the two, the mandrel and the edger roll are controlled so as to correct the deviation.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 3 schematically shows a configuration of the ring rolling mill according to the present embodiment, in which (a) is a side view including a partial cross-sectional display, and (b) is a plan view. In the figure, 1 is a ring-shaped rolled material, 2 is a main roll, 3 is a mandrel, 4 is an edger roll, and 5 is a tracer roll.
[0012]
The
[0013]
The edger rolls 4, 4 are generally disposed at symmetrical positions of the
The edger rolls 4 and 4 have a conical shape because the peripheral speed of the ring-shaped rolled material 1 to be rolled differs between the inner peripheral side and the outer peripheral side (inner peripheral side <outer peripheral side). This is because the difference needs to be absorbed. Therefore, the edger rolls 4 and 4 are arranged so that the tips of the conical rolls coincide with the center of the ring-shaped material 1, and the ring-shaped material on the roll peripheral surface as the diameter of the ring-shaped material 1 grows. The reduction position with respect to the rolled material 1 moves in the horizontal direction (diameter expansion side).
[0014]
The
[0015]
In the ring rolling mill configured as described above, the thickness of the ring-shaped rolled material 1 is radially increased by the
[0016]
Next, a control device in the ring rolling mill configured as described above will be described.
FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram of the configuration of the control device. Mandrel position detecting means 7 for detecting the position of the

[0018]
FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram of a rolling progress pattern stored in the
[0019]
As can be seen from FIG. 2, in the rolling progress pattern of the present embodiment, the height change amount / thickness change amount (HA-HB) / (TA-TB) of the ring-shaped rolled material during the rolling is a substantially constant value. It is designed to change linearly. In other words, in FIG. 2, the final shape changes from the initial shape OABC to the Oabc due to the shape change in which the vertex B of the initial shape linearly changes to the vertex b of the final shape.
And the rolling progress pattern of this Embodiment is set to the range of 0.36-0.47 as a value of said height change amount / thickness change amount (HA-HB) / (TA-TB). And it rolls so that the radial direction thickness reduction per rotation may be set to 0.9 to 1.1%.
[0020]
Here, the reason why the height change amount / thickness change amount of the ring-shaped rolled material is 0.36 to 0.47 and the radial thickness reduction ratio is 0.9 to 1.1%. Will be explained.
[0021]
In general, when rolling per one turn like a ring-shaped material is deformed in a double bulge shape in light rolling, and when the rolling reduction in the radial direction is large, the indentation in the height direction as shown in FIG. It is known that 1a and 1b occur.
Further, the ring-shaped material to be rolled is rolled in the height direction and the thickness direction at the same time, and in order to obtain a good rolling shape, it is necessary to have a certain relationship therebetween.
[0022]
Based on these findings, the inventor changed the height / thickness reduction ratio in the range of 0.27 to 0.58 and the thickness reduction ratio in the range of 0.8 to 1.2. The rolling state (recessed part and amount) of the ring-shaped rolled material was verified. The results are shown in Table 1 below.
The steel type used was S48C, and the final product shape of the ring-shaped rolled material was an outer diameter of 1400 mm, an inner diameter of 1300 mm, a height of 90 mm, and a wall thickness of 50 mm.
Table 1 also shows the control conditions of the ring rolling mill (height / wall thickness reduction ratio, wall thickness reduction ratio), initial outer diameter, initial inner diameter, initial height, initial wall thickness, and the rolling conditions. Experimental results (presence / absence of dent, dent location, dent amount, determination) are shown.
[0023]
[Table 1]
[0024]
Looking at Table 1, the final molded product without dents is rolled under the rolling control conditions where the height / thickness reduction ratio is 0.36 to 0.47 and the thickness reduction ratio is 0.9 to 1.1. You can see that
As described above, as a result of the verification by experiment, the inventor has found that the amount of change in height / thickness change of the ring-shaped rolled material in the rolling process is 0.36 as the rolling progress pattern of the present invention as described above. It has been found that a good product shape can be obtained by setting a substantially constant value in a range of ~ 0.47 and a radial thickness reduction ratio in a range of 0.9 to 1.1%. It was.
[0025]
Next, the operation | movement at the time of rolling a ring-shaped to-be-rolled material with the control apparatus comprised as mentioned above is demonstrated.
First, the cross-sectional shape of the rough material is determined based on the rolling progress pattern described above with reference to the target product dimensions.
[0026]
Next, after the cross-sectional shape of the rough material is determined as described above, a rough material satisfying this is selected, and this is set in the ring rolling mill shown in FIG. Control signals for the mandrel position control unit 11 and the edger roll
And after rolling starts, the
[0027]
Continue rolling by feedback control based on the rolling progress pattern as described above, the initial and middle main rolling steps are completed, and the outer diameter growth rate becomes constant as a finishing step when it comes close to the final shape Switch to control and perform rolling to adjust the shape to the product shape.
Then, based on the information from the tracer roll position detecting means, when it is confirmed that the outer diameter of the ring-shaped rolled material has reached the target value, the rolling is finished.
[0028]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the rolling progress pattern that has been regarded as the know-how of the skilled worker is shown as a certain clear standard, and there is no dent even if there is no experience and know-how. A good ring-shaped material to be rolled can be rolled.
[0029]
In the above embodiment, the tracer roll that is in rolling contact with the ring-shaped rolled material is taken as an example of the tracer that detects the outer diameter of the ring-shaped rolled material. However, for example, an optical means is used as the tracer. The non-contact type may be used.
[0030]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention changes the cross-sectional shape so that the height change amount / thickness change amount of the ring-shaped rolled material satisfies a substantially constant value within the range of 0.36 to 0.47, and Since rolling is performed so that the radial thickness reduction ratio per rotation becomes 0.9 to 1.1%, even if there is no experience and know-how, a good ring-shaped rolled material with no dents Rolling becomes possible.
