Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a disk loading apparatus and a cartridge of an apparatus for recording and reproducing information on a disk with light.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Currently, a read-only disk such as a CD-ROM or a rewritable disk of a magneto-optical method or a phase change method is used as a recording medium of information equipment such as a computer.
These discs may be mounted directly on the tray, or may be stored in the cartridge and the cartridge mounted on the tray for reasons such as protecting the surface of the disc.
[0003]
For example, when the disc is directly mounted on the tray, the recording / reproducing apparatus loads the tray from the disc exchange position to the recording / reproducing position by the disc loading device, places the disc on the turntable, rotates the disc by the turntable, Recording / reproduction is performed by moving the pickup that irradiates the surface with light.
The recording and playback method is the same when the cartridge containing the disc is mounted on the tray, but the disc is placed on the turntable and rotated, and the pickup is scanned to irradiate the light. For example, while loading the tray, The disc protective cover of the cartridge is opened.
[0004]
Recently, not only a recording / reproducing apparatus having a disc-dedicated tray and a recording / reproducing apparatus having a cartridge-dedicated tray but also a recording / reproducing apparatus having a tray on which a disc and a cartridge can be selectively mounted have been proposed. In the latter case, a disc placement portion and a cartridge placement portion are provided on the tray.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the above-described conventional recording / reproducing apparatus having a tray on which a disc and a cartridge can be selectively mounted (hereinafter referred to as a dual loading apparatus), the tray is firmly held against the loading apparatus when the cartridge is mounted on the tray. In addition, it is desirable that the tray can be operated with a small force when the tray is pushed in, and the tray ejection force is small when the medium is forcibly ejected when not energized. However, since the load at the time of tray operation is determined by the gear ratio of the drive system of the loading device and the loading motor, it is difficult to optimize the load at the time of tray operation according to the type of media, energization, and non-energization. there were.
[0006]
Further, in the above conventional recording / reproducing apparatus that handles cartridges, the casing (fixed side) attached to the personal computer and the recording / reproducing part (movable side) of the cartridge and the built-in disk are separated by a damper. Due to the restrictions on the outer shape of the apparatus, there is a gap for vibration at the time of impact between the opening of the housing and the movable side, which allows dust to enter the loading apparatus.
[0007]
Finally, in the conventional recording / reproducing apparatus, it is common to increase the sealing degree of the apparatus so that dust does not enter as a dustproof structure, but by rotating the disk with a spindle motor, the inside of the apparatus becomes negative pressure, As a result of sucking dust and smoke toward the center of the motor, the recording / reproducing surface of the disk and the lens over time are permitted due to dust and smoke entering from the gap in the opening of the housing.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, in the disk loading device of the present invention,A holder for holding a recording / reproducing disk or a cartridge storing the recording / reproducing disk, a shutter opening / closing means for opening / closing a shutter provided in the cartridge, and an opening / closing detecting means for detecting opening / closing of the shutter according to the position of the shutter opening / closing means. , Not stored in the cartridge Holding means for rotating the recording / reproducing disk once pushed and then rotating and holding the cartridge side face, and a posture detecting means for detecting the posture that pushes and spreads against the bias of the holding means And a conveying means for allowing the holder to enter and exit from the opening on the front surface of the apparatus, and the holding means determines whether the recording / reproducing disk or the cartridge is in accordance with the detection result of the opening / closing detection means and the detection result of the attitude detection means. It is detected whether or not any of them is stored, and the driving operation of the transport means is started, stopped or prohibited.
[0009]
In the disk loading apparatus of the present invention,A recording / reproducing disk or a holding means for holding a cartridge storing the recording / reproducing disk; a conveying means for conveying the holding means; a disk rotating means for rotating the recording / reproducing disk or the recording / reproducing disk stored in the cartridge; A holder having the holding means stored therein and having a top plate, an opening having a base configured to store the transfer means and the holder, and a canopy, and the lid configured to open and close the opening of the casing Since the opening / closing member is provided, and the opening / closing member between the top plate and the canopy is provided with a hole for flowing an air flow stronger than the air flow caused by the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the housing due to the rotation of the disk rotating means. The airflow flowing into the device through this hole is stronger than the airflow generated by the pressure difference inside and outside the device due to the rotation of the disk. Using a stream of computer internal fan flows between the top plate and the canopy, in the apparatusDust and smoke that have entered are discharged out of the disk loading device.
[0010]
Furthermore, in the disk loading device of the present invention,A recording / reproducing disc or a holding means for holding the cartridge storing the recording / reproducing disc, a case member engaged with the holding means, a conveying means for conveying the case member, and the recording / reproducing disc or the cartridge stored in the cartridge A disk rotating means for rotating the recording / reproducing disk; a housing having a base member for storing the case member having the rotating means and the conveying means; and an opening / closing member for opening and closing an opening provided in the housing. The opening / closing means between the case member and the base member is provided with a hole through which the airflow flowing through the casing flows, and the casing is rotated between the hole and the disk rotating means by the rotation of the disk rotating means. Because it has a configuration to provide a dustproof member that prevents dust carried by the airflow due to the pressure difference between the inside and outside,DiscdiskBy rotating the rotating means, the inside of the loading device becomes negative pressure, and dust and smoke are sucked toward the center of the motor., DeThis prevents the recording / playback surface of the disc and the lens from becoming dirty.
