Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an indoor unit and an air conditioner that provide a comfortable indoor environment by heating or cooling, and in particular, it is possible to reduce operation noise generated in a blower system of an indoor unit that employs a tangential fan. The present invention relates to a technique suitable for the indoor unit and the air conditioner.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An air conditioner is composed of two large components, an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. Each of these units includes an indoor heat exchanger and an outdoor heat exchanger that perform heat exchange between the refrigerant and the indoor air and between the refrigerant and the outdoor air.
[0003]
These indoor heat exchangers and outdoor heat exchangers are elements constituting a refrigerant circuit by adding other elements such as a compressor and an expansion valve. Refrigerant physically circulates in this circuit, and it will also follow the state change circulation process of high-temperature high-pressure gas, low-temperature low-pressure gas, high-temperature high-pressure liquid, and low-temperature low-pressure liquid, and realize indoor air conditioning. . This indoor air conditioning is directly realized by heat exchange between the refrigerant in the indoor heat exchanger and the indoor air.
[0004]
By the way, during heating operation, the refrigerant that is made into a high-temperature and high-pressure gas by the compressor is sent to the indoor heat exchanger, and the refrigerant is condensed by exchanging heat between this refrigerant and the room air. Is realized as a liquid refrigerant. Moreover, at the time of air_conditionaing | cooling operation, a high-temperature / high pressure gaseous refrigerant is sent to an outdoor heat exchanger, and it heat-exchanges with outdoor air, and it is set as a high temperature / high pressure liquid refrigerant. After that, the high-temperature and high-pressure liquid refrigerant is decompressed by passing it through the expansion valve, sent to the indoor heat exchanger as a low-temperature and low-pressure liquid refrigerant, and the refrigerant is evaporated by exchanging heat between this refrigerant and the room air. Thus, low temperature and low pressure gasification is realized.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the case of the air conditioner mentioned above, the actual condition is that the casing shape of the indoor unit is determined empirically from the past. Among such air conditioners that are widely used for home use, for example, a tangential fan (cross flow fan) has been generally employed as a fan provided in an indoor unit. .
[0006]
In this case, indoor air (room air) sucked by a tangential fan (hereinafter referred to as “fan”) passes through the indoor heat exchanger and is air-conditioned, and then the outer peripheral surface of the fan and the air path wall surface of the casing. The air is blown from the outlet to the room through the air passage formed between the two. In such an indoor unit, the air blower system in the casing, such as the stabilizer shape provided on the upstream side of the fan, is further improved in terms of aerodynamic performance such as air volume and noise, thereby further improving the merchantability of the air conditioner. Further improvement is desired.
Against this background, it is necessary to find basic rules for optimizing the stabilizer shape, etc., and by designing according to these rules, it is easy to reduce the noise and increase the efficiency of the blower system It is desirable to be able to do this.

FIG. 3 shows the results of measuring noise on the same air volume basis by appropriately changing the stabilizer tongue end angle α described above.
From this measurement result, the noise becomes lowest when the stabilizer tongue end angle α is set to around 57 degrees, and the noise increases even if the angle is decreased or increased with the angle as the bottom. I understood that. Therefore, with reference to the noise value corresponding to the stabilizer tongue angle α having the lowest noise in the same air volume base, an appropriate design range of the stabilizer tongue angle α is an angle in a range where ΔdB is increased by 1 dB (A) from this reference value. From the result shown in FIG. 3, the range of the stabilizer tongue end angle α is determined as 50 ° ≦ α ≦ 60 °.
Note that ΔdB = 1 dB (A) is based on the reason that the value of 1 dB (A) is a level at which the noise reduction effect can be clearly recognized in consideration of measurement errors and variations.

From this measurement result, it was found that the noise was lowest when h was set to be lower than about 15%, and the noise increased in both cases when increasing or decreasing from h corresponding to this lowest value. Therefore, an area within the range where ΔdB increases by 1 dB (A) with this minimum value as a reference is determined as an appropriate design range, and the range of h / D is determined as h / D ≦ 25% based on the result shown in FIG. .
