この発明は、マンサード屋根における腰折れ部分の水切装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
マンサード屋根においては、上部側の緩勾配部分に敷設した屋根葺材と、下側の急勾配部分に敷設した屋根葺材とを連続して設けることが出来ない。この場合、屋根葺材の下側には、アスファルトルーフィングなどの防水シートが設けられているが、これだけでは、充分な防水構造が得られない欠点がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この発明は、このようなマンサード屋根の腰折れ部において、充分な防水効果を備えるとともに、外観に優れた水切装置を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するため、この発明では、まず、傾斜屋根の傾斜方向の中間部が腰折れ形に折れ曲がったマンサード屋根において、前記腰折れ部に沿ってくの字型に折れ曲がった水切材本体が、同じく腰折れ部を挟んだ上下の野地板間に跨るようにして取り付けられる。

そして、水切材本体には、腰折れ部よりも下側部分の上面に、その稜線が水平方向となるように断面が山形となった外側水切がその上端部分で連設されて設けられ、それら外側水切と水切材本体との間に、板状屋根葺材の上端が下側から差し込まれていることを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、住宅のマンサード屋根を示し、屋根面の軒先方向の中間部分が腰折れ状に折れ曲がって、この腰折れ部を介して棟側の緩勾配の屋根面(1)と軒側の急勾配の屋根面(2)とに分かれている。そして、この腰折れ部に沿ってこの発明の水切材(3)が、桁行方向に取りつけられている。

図2は、前記腰折れ部分での屋根部の断面を示し、腰折れ部を挟んだ上下の屋根フレーム(4)(5)の上面に金具(6)(6)を介して木製の母屋(7)が固定され、この母屋(7)の上に野地板(8)(8)が張りつけられている。(9)は、野地板(8)(8)の上面にまたがって敷かれたアスファルトルーフィングを示している。

そして、このアスファルトルーフィング(9)の上に、同じく腰折れ部を挟んだ上下の野地板(8)(8)間に跨るようにして、前記の水切材(3)のくの字型の本体(14)が取りつけられている。この本体(14)の腰折れ部よりも上部側は、一旦上方へ鉤型に折り曲げ(10)された後上方へ延び、更にその上端部が上面側へ斜めに折り返し(11)された後上方へ折曲されて、その先端部において釘打ち(12)されている。この上部部分には、図3のように、水切材本体(14)の上から更にアスファルトルーフィングが(13)が敷かれている。

他方、水切材本体(14)の腰折れ部よりも下側部分には、その上面に、腰折れ部に水平方向のシャープな稜線を現出させるよう断面が山形となった外側水切(15)が、その上端部分で連設されて設けられており、この外側水切(15)の山部の内側に、角木材からなる下地材(16)が差し込まれて、外側から打ち込んだ釘(17)で野地板(8)へ固定されている。

この下地材(16)の下部側において、板状屋根葺材(18)の上端が外側水切(15)と水切材本体(14)との間に、下側から差し込まれている。また、外側水切(15)の下端が屋根葺材(18)の上面において内側へ折り返し(21)されている。他方、腰折れ部よりも上部側のアスファルトルーフィング(13)の上面にも屋根葺材(20)が設置されている。図3の(22)は、屋根の妻側の端部に取り付けられるけらば水切である。

【発明の効果】
以上のように、この発明では、腰折れ部よりも下側部分の上面に、その稜線が水平方向となるように断面が山形となった外側水切がその上端部分で連設されて設けられ、それら外側水切と水切材本体との間に、板状屋根葺材の上端が下側から差し込まれているので、この部分の防水性が良好となる効果がある。しかも、この外側水切りの山形部の稜線により、屋根の外観にシャープさを持たせることができる。
