前記課題を解決するため、本発明は、内周壁と磁気テープが巻装される外周壁と同心に配置したリール胴部と、このリール胴部を挟んで平行に且つ同心に配置した上フランジおよび下フランジと、前記内周壁と外周壁との間の下フランジに設けられ上端面に上フランジを固定するための夫々溶着ボスを有する複数個の突設リブとを備えた磁気テープカセット用リールにおいて、前記突設リブが、前記溶着ボスと対応する下フランジの底面に夫々凹部を設けられており、且つ前記下フランジ同士を積み重ねた際に前記下フランジ間の径方向の位置ずれを防止すべく、前記各凹部が前記各溶着ボスを遊嵌可能な径及び深さであることを特徴とする。従って、前記各凹部によってヒケが目立たなくなるとともに、保管時に前記各溶着ボスを他の下フランジの前記各凹部に嵌挿させて積層することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態をビデオカセットに内蔵されるリールの例で図1乃至図7に基づいて説明する。
