本発明は被検眼の眼球に向けてレ−ザ光を収束させて投光し、そのレ−ザ光の水晶体の分子による散乱光を検出する眼科測定装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
被検眼の眼球に向けてレーザ光を収束させて投光し、このレーザ光による水晶体内部の分子による散乱光を受光光学系を介して光電変換素子に導き、光電変換素子の出力信号に基づいて白内障の初期診断を行う装置が提案されている。この装置は、被検眼を観察系を介して観察し水晶体内部の測定部位にアライメントしたうえで測定する。
このようにアライメントされても、測定中に被検者の瞬目、固視の不良等が生ずると、測定データに悪影響を与える。従来の装置では、測定データの可否を判断する方法としては、検者が測定中の被検眼の状態を観察して判断する方法がとられていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、検者が測定中の被検眼の状態を観察して測定データの可否を判断する方法は、その判断基準が主観的なため検者によって異なったり、見落としがあったりして、測定デ−タの信頼性に問題があった。

本発明は、上記のような欠点に鑑み案出されたもので、測定中の被検者の瞬目、固視の不良、角膜などからの反射光などを自動的に検出し、信頼性の高い測定結果が得られる眼科測定装置を提供することを技術課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記課題を達成するために、以下のような構成を有することを特徴とする。
(1) 観察光軸に対して斜め方向から被検眼に向けて測定用レーザ光を収束させて投光し、投光された測定用レーザ光の散乱光を検出する眼科測定装置において、結像レンズに対して測定用レーザ光が収束する位置と共役な位置に配置されたアパーチャを通過する測定用レーザ光を検出する光電変換素子と、該光電変換素子の出力波形に基づいて測定異常の有無を判定するとともに、出力波形の種類から瞬目又は角膜反射光の受光という測定異常の要因を抽出する判定手段と、該判定手段により測定異常の要因として瞬目又は角膜反射光の受光があるときは瞬目又は角膜反射光の受光があることを表示する表示手段と、を備えることを特徴とする。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。図1は実施例である水晶体内部の蛋白質組成を測定する装置の光学系と電気系の概略を示す図である。
[光学系]
1はレーザ光を水晶体に投光するHe−Neレーザ光源、2はエキスパンダレンズ、3は集光レンズであり、1〜3は水晶体内部の蛋白質組成を測定するためのレーザ照射光学系を構成する。4は被検眼、5は水晶体である。
6は固視灯用の点光源、7はビームスプリッタであり、6,7は被検眼眼底に固視視標を投影する固視視標投影光学系をなす。
8は結像レンズ、9は絞り、10はCCDカメラであり、8〜10は被検眼前眼部を観察するための観察光学系を構成する。
11は結像レンズ、12はアパーチャ、13は光電変換素子であり、11〜13は受光光学系を構成する。

14は画像合成回路、15は光電変換素子からの出力信号に基づき水晶体内部の蛋白質組成を演算処理する演算回路、16は制御コンピュータ、17はテレビモニタ、18は入力手段、19は記憶手段である。
20は入力側の信号切換回路、21及び22はカウンタ、23は出力側の信号切換回路、24はメモリ、26はアドレス生成回路、25はタイミング信号発生回路である。タイミング信号発生回路25は、信号切換回路20及び23の制御信号、カウンタ21及び22のクリア信号、アドレス生成回路26へのクロック信号、メモリ24への書き込み信号のタイミング信号を生成し、20〜26でサンプリング系を構成する。

点光源6より発せられた光は、ビームスプリッタ7を介して被検眼眼底に投光され、被検眼に点光源6を固視灯として固視させる。
図示なき照明光源に照明された被検眼前眼部は、観察光学系の結像レンズ8、絞り9を介してCCDカメラ10に受像され、テレビモニタ17に映出される。また、レーザ光源1より出力されたレーザ光は、エキスパンダレンズ2によりその光束を拡げられた後、集光レンズ3により収束光束とされ、被検眼4の水晶体5に斜め方向から照射される。
検者は、テレビモニタ17に映出された被検眼前眼部像と水晶体5を通るレーザ収束光束を観察しながら、測定部位を決定する。

測定部位が決定されると、入力手段18に設けられた測定開始スイッチを押して測定を開始する。被検眼4の水晶体5に照射されたレーザ光束は、水晶体5内の蛋白質粒子により散乱する。この散乱光は結像レンズ11によりアパーチャ12に集光され、光電変換素子13に入射する。

光電変換素子13は、入射した散乱光の強度に対応する電気信号が出力され、演算回路15に入力される。演算回路15は入力された信号に基づき、散乱光強度の時間的変動の相関関数を求め、この相関関数により制御コンピュータ16は水晶体内部の蛋白質組成の測定結果を得る。この測定については、例えば、特表平6−505650号(発明の名称「白内障の発生を検出する方法及び装置」)に記載されるように、散乱光強度の時間的変動の相関関数は、

また、光電変換素子13から出力された電気信号は、信号切換回路20を介して、タイミング信号生成回路25で規定される所定のサンプリング期間毎に、カウンタ21、カウンタ22で交互にカウントされる。カウンタ21でカウントしているサンプリング期間は、カウンタ22の出力が信号切換回路23を介してメモリ24に接続され、その内容がメモリ24のアドレス生成回路26で生成されるアドレスに書き込まれ、その後カウンタ22はクリアされる。

図2の(a)は正常に測定が行なわれたたときの出力例である。図2の(b)は、測定中に被検眼4が瞬目したときの出力例を示しており、被検眼4の瞬目の期間は、水晶体5内の蛋白質粒子により散乱された散乱光が受光されないので、散乱光の強度は極端に下がる。
図2の(c)は、測定中に角膜からの反射光を受光したときの出力例であり、角膜からの反射光を受光した期間は、反射光の強度は水晶体5内の蛋白質粒子により散乱された散乱光の強度と比較して非常大きいので、極端に上がる。

制御コンピュータ16はメモリ24に記憶された光強度信号に基づき、演算回路15を経て得られた測定結果の可否を判定する。この判定は、例えば、図3に示すように予め上限レベルのしきい値Aと下限レベルのしきい値Bを設定しておき、このしきい値で規定する範囲を外れた異常信号の有無により測定結果の可否を判定する。
制御コンピュータ16は、しきい値で規定する範囲を外れた異常信号があるときには、エラーメッセージを画像合成回路14を介してテレビモニタ17上に表示し、検者に再測定を促す。エラーメッセージは、異常信号の種類から異常要因を推定し「瞬きあり」等の表示をすると一層良い。しきい値で規定する範囲を外れた異常信号が無いときには、前述の演算回路15からの演算結果に所定の処理を施して測定結果を算出し、その測定結果をテレビモニタ17上に表示するとともに記憶手段19に記憶させる。

なお、以上の実施例は種々の変容が可能である。実施例では測定異常を検出する光学系と測定結果を得るための光学系は共用させているが、両者を別個な検出系として構成することもできる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明によれば、測定中の被検者の瞬目、固視の不良、角膜などからの反射光等による測定誤差を装置が自動的に検出することができるので、誤った測定結果を採用することを防止することができる。
