Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a variable cross-section extrusion molding apparatus for extruding a molded body whose cross-sectional shape changes in the extrusion direction.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As is well known, various types of tubular materials such as fin tubes for heat exchangers and various structural members used in vehicles that are strongly demanded for weight reduction are often used by extrusion molding of aluminum or aluminum alloys. Yes.
In this extrusion molding, a die having an extrusion hole having a cross-sectional shape such as the above-mentioned component member is fixed at the tip of the container, a heated material (billet) is inserted into the container, and the billet is pressed with a pressurizing machine. The component member is formed by pressing toward the die side with a (stem) and extruding from the extrusion hole. According to such an extrusion process, since the extrusion hole of the die has a constant cross-sectional shape, the obtained constituent members and the like are also formed into a constant cross-sectional shape in the longitudinal direction.
[0003]
However, among the above structural members, for example, in structural members of various vehicles such as general passenger cars and trucks, when the extrusion die is formed, for example, the obtained side frame is fixed in the longitudinal direction. Since it has a cross-sectional shape, in other words, a constant moment of inertia of the cross section, a member having a size and strength more than necessary in the longitudinal direction is formed, and the molding material is wasted and uneconomical. There is a problem in that the installation space for members is reduced in size and weight.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, as a conventional extrusion die for solving such problems, as shown in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-31527, a fixed die for fixing the extrusion die to a container, and movement with respect to the fixed die The shape of the extrusion hole formed by the communicating part of the fixed die hole of the fixed die and the movable die hole is changed by appropriately moving the movable die and moving the movable die appropriately. There has been proposed a variable cross-section extrusion die that changes the cross-sectional shape of a component to be molded in the longitudinal direction. According to such a variable cross-section extrusion die, it becomes possible to perform extrusion molding in a shape corresponding to the generated stress distribution, for example, in the longitudinal direction so that the stress is constant in any part such as the central part and both end parts. There is an advantage that a component member having a typical cross-sectional shape can be formed.
[0005]
However, when the conventional variable cross-section extrusion die is to be incorporated into an extrusion molding apparatus, if the fixed die and the moving die are moved relative to each other, they are extruded from both sides in the extrusion direction by the pressurizer. It is difficult to maintain the extrusion reference center of the molded product, which makes it difficult to perform stable extrusion, complicates the device, and even when moving at least one of them, the extrusion device has a large thrust load. Therefore, it is extremely difficult to slide the moving die accurately and smoothly with respect to the fixed die while maintaining the relative position between the pressurizing machine and the fixed die reliably. There were various practical problems such as extremely difficult to extrude with accuracy.
The present invention has been made to effectively solve the problems that occur when such variable section extrusion is actually performed, and variable section extrusion capable of stably performing highly accurate variable section extrusion. The object is to provide an apparatus.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The variable cross-section extrusion molding apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention is a container in which a molding material is stored, and is disposed on one end side of the container to press the molding material in the container to the other end side. A pressurizing machine, a die assembly which is disposed at the other end of the container and is extruded from the container into a product shape through an extrusion hole, and a die stack which supports the die assembly on a base. Driving means for changing the shape of the extrusion hole .
[0007]
The die assembly includes a tubular die ring, a lead-in plate that is sequentially stored in the die ring in the extrusion direction of the molding material, a fixed die, a back plate that supports the fixed die, and the fixed member. The lead-in plate is arranged to receive a thrust force generated by extruding a molding material in a container by the pressurizer, The fixed die is provided with a fixed die hole, and the moving die is provided with a moving die hole and connected to the tip of the driving unit of the driving means, and the moving die, the fixed die hole, The above-mentioned extrusion hole whose shape is variable is constituted by the communicating portion of the die assembly, and the die assembly and the die stack are respectively provided. Is characterized in that said moving die or drive unit can be inserted an opening is formed.
[0008]
Further, in the invention described in
[0009]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect of the present invention, the die stack is formed with a recess that opens upward to insert and remove the die assembly. A groove portion is formed in the inner wall portion in a direction crossing the extrusion direction of the molding material, and the outer peripheral portion of the die assembly is fitted in the groove portion.
[0010]
In the invention according to any one of
The thrust force generated by extruding the molding material in the container by the pressurizer acts on the fixed die. The thrust force first acts on the lead-in plate disposed on the upstream side of the fixed die. Therefore, the thrust force acting directly on the fixed die can be reduced.
[0011]
Thus, in this type of extrusion apparatus, a large load acts on the die assembly in the extrusion direction due to the pressing force from the pressure machine during the extrusion molding. For this reason, when the die assembly is composed only of a fixed die and a moving die, it is necessary to increase the thickness dimension of the fixed die in order to resist the shearing force caused by the load. On the other hand, since the processing of the fixed die hole of the fixed die requires high accuracy of several tens to several hundreds of microns, when the thickness dimension of the fixed die increases, it takes time and effort for the manufacturing unit cost. Invite soaring.
[0012]
In this respect, the die assembly, the tubular die in the ring, since the configuration in which both housing the stationary die and the back plate and the lead-in plate for supporting the fixed die, set thinner thickness dimension of the fixed die The die ring and the back plate can be used as a common member with respect to various fixed dies corresponding to different shapes, and it is economical. That is, provided a lead-in plate on the upstream side of the stationary die, since the fixed die has a structure sandwiching by the the back-plate of a lead-in plate, acting on the stationary die by the lead-in plate, as described above This is preferable because the pressing force can be reduced and the thickness dimension of the fixed die can be further reduced, thereby further enhancing the above effect.
In order to drive the moving die from the outside in this case, the moving die or drive unit to the outer peripheral portion and the fixed die of the die ring is a through opening capable to bored to Rukoto in the die assembly .
[0013]
In addition, when applied to an extrusion molding apparatus in which the pressurizer, so-called horizontal type, and the die stack that supports the container and the die assembly are sequentially arranged in the horizontal direction, the extrusion is usually carried out from the container above the extrusion molding apparatus. A cutting machine (shear) for cutting the end of the formed material is disposed, and when trying to secure a large space for installing the driving means between the lower floor surface (base), In order to eliminate the relative displacement of the pressurizer and the die stack, the base for installing them is extremely large and inappropriate.
On the other hand, in the invention according to
[0014]
In this case, in the invention described in
