A1 =π(c・d1 )2 として求められる。
G1 =π/4・b1 ・d1 2 となる。
a=50/n・dとなる。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an apparatus used for measuring a chest height cross-sectional area that is a basis for calculating a volume of material in a fixed forest, and more specifically, applying the Bitter-Rich method to measure a chest height cross-sectional area based on data fixed to an image. It is about the technology that makes.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The calculation of the volume of wood in the forest is necessary in various scenes including timber trading. Conventionally, the so-called Bitter-Rich method is known for estimating and calculating the volume of wood.
This technology was developed by Dr. Bitter-Rich of Austria. Using a measuring instrument (Spiegelleras scope) created by Dr. Bitter-Rich, he measured the breast cross-sectional area of a standing tree, The stand volume is calculated by the combination, and it is one of the general-purpose technologies today because the stand volume can be estimated without measuring the circumference of the stand and measuring the diameter of each standing tree.
[0003]
In the Bitter-Rich method, the user stands at a certain point and displays it in the finder of the measuring instrument (Spiegelrelax scope) using the measuring instrument (Spiegelrelax scope) while making a round like a clock hand. The number of standing trees having a diameter protruding from the scale width (side band) is counted to measure the chest height cross-sectional area in a predetermined area. The theoretical outline is as follows.
[0004]
An arbitrary fixed point P is set in a forest made of standing trees of various diameters. For a tree having a diameter d 1 (m), assume a circular plot of radius (m) centered on P and d 1 multiplied by a constant c.
Here, the area A 1 of the circular plot is
It is obtained as A 1 = π (c · d 1 ) 2 .
And, if there are b 1 standing trees with a breast height diameter d 1 in this plot, the total breast height cross-sectional area G 1 is
G 1 = π / 4 · b 1 · d 1 2
When this is converted into a breast height cross-sectional area G 1 ′ per 1 m 2 , G 1 ′ = (π / 4 · b 1 · d 1 2 ) ÷ π (c · d 1 ) 2 .
Based on this, when converted into a chest height cross-sectional area G 1 ″ per 1 ha, G 1 ″ = 2500 · b 1 / c 2 .
Similarly, two b respectively, G 2 also b 3 pieces of
Thus, if the chest height cross-sectional area per ha is calculated for standing trees of all sizes, the chest height cross-sectional area G per hectare is
As described above, the plot radius is determined in proportion to the diameter of each standing tree, the number of standing trees in the corresponding plot is counted, and this is multiplied by a constant 2500 / c 2 to obtain the per-hatar. The breast cross section can be estimated.
[0005]
By the way, the above estimation calculation is specifically performed using a predetermined measuring instrument known as a Spiegel relascope.
FIG. 5 is a view showing a viewfinder field of the Spiegel relascope. Standing trees are shown in the upper half, and a thick black and white band for measuring the diameter of standing trees and a thin band on the right are visible in the lower half. One thick white or black band is called a unit side band, and a thin band is a quarter width of the unit side band, so it is called a quadrant side band, and the width of the unit side band is called a lalas scope unit (RE). Then, by counting the number of standing trees having a diameter that protrudes from these bands, the breast height cross-sectional area of the stand is obtained as described above.
That is, for a tree having a center at the position on the circumference of the circular plot, the plot radius is c · d, and the distance between the observation point P and the center of the tree is also c · d. Since c is a constant, it can be arbitrarily determined. By the way, in the Spiegel relascope, the width (angle) α of one unit side band is determined so that a = 50 · d. When the distance constant 50 / n of the Spiegel relas scope is given to the constant c, the distance a to the standing tree on the circumference is
a = 50 / n · d.
Therefore, when measuring with a set of n side bands in advance, when standing trees around the observation point P are collimated with a finder, n trees (the standing trees on the circumference) at a distance of 50 / n · d are present. It will appear with the same width as the unit side band of minutes.
In other words, it can be said that all the diameters of the standing trees on the circumference measured in units of the relas scope (RE) from the point P are nRE.
[0006]
Also, standing trees of the same diameter near 50 / n · d appear larger than n sidebands, and conversely, standing trees farther than 50 / n · d, ie outside the circular plot, than n sidebands. It will look small. Therefore, to determine whether a single tree is inside the corresponding circular plot, it is only necessary to examine whether it looks beyond the width of n side bands when viewed with a Spiegel relascope. become. To find the chest height cross-sectional area of all standing trees around the point P, stand around the point P, collimate the chest height positions of all the standing trees, and stand out from the width of n side bands. It is only necessary to measure the number of. If the diameter appears to be exactly covered by the side belt, half of the standing tree is outside the circular plot, so it is counted as 1/2.
In the Spiegel relascope, the width of the side band is set so that the horizontal distance from the finder to the center of the standing tree is 50 times the diameter of the standing tree.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-described conventional measuring instrument has a problem in that it cannot be reconfirmed because the measurement process such as which standing tree should be counted or the counting process is not stored as a record because it is counted with the eyes. In addition, the experience and skill of the operator who performs the measurement work are easily reflected directly in the measurement result, but it is difficult to grasp, store and process the visual forest information, and the equipment itself is expensive.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a tree breast height cross-sectional area measuring device,
An imaging device installed at one end of the support, a standing diameter discriminator provided at the other end of the imaging device within the angle of view of the imaging device, and an imaging device fixed in the vicinity of the standing diameter discrimination tool in the support An angle-of-view mark located within the angle of view of the standing tree, and the standing tree diameter identifying tool comprises a roller pivotally supported by the support and a standing tree diameter identifying mark and roller drawn on the surface of the roller. The above- mentioned conventional problem is to be solved by configuring with a mechanism that keeps the upper fixed point always facing the top .
[0009]
In the above configuration, the standing tree diameter identification mark is configured by a plurality of unit side bands that are drawn around the surface of the roller and have a predetermined width, and the predetermined width (cm) is a focal plane of the imaging device. It may be set to almost twice the distance (m) from the surface of the roller.
[0010]
Furthermore, in the above configuration, the predetermined width of the unit side band may be configured by continuously correcting by multiplying Cos θ corresponding to the change in the inclination angle θ of the support.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a chest height cross-sectional area measuring apparatus according to an embodiment of the invention. In the figure, 1 is a still camera or a video camera as an imaging apparatus installed at one end of a support 2. The steel camera may be a conventional optical camera using a recording medium as a film. However, a digital camera that can reproduce an image immediately after shooting, can be retaken, and can be processed by a computer is suitable. Yes.
[0012]
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a schematic configuration of the standing tree
As shown in the figure, the standing
In FIG. 2, a mechanism for maintaining the fixed point of the roller 3a so as to always face the top is represented by a rotation shaft provided at the center of the roller having a circular cross section and a weight provided at a position opposite to the fixed point on the roller 3a. As shown in FIG. 3, a bearing is provided at a position inscribed in the circumference of the roller 3a having a circular cross section and in contact with the fixed point via the circumferential portion. It is good also as a structure which supports a roller rotatably.
That is, in FIG. 3, reference numeral 6 denotes a bearing, which is formed at a position inscribed in the circumference of the roller 3 a so that the rotating shaft 6 a is inserted. A is a fixed point at a position in contact with the rotating shaft 6a via the circumferential portion. This fixed point is actually a portion of the unit side band in the standing tree
In this way, the support member 2 of any inclination take the position of the rollers 3a the rotation shaft 6a is rotated in stationary, i.e. fixed point if A is always in a position child in top direction on a roller 3a Become.
[0013]
The standing tree
Now, when all the forest trees to be surveyed are on a flat ground, under the above configuration, standing at a fixed point and dividing the entire circumference into a range of a constant angle such as 20 degrees or 30 degrees, and performing photography. Thus, the angle-of-view indicator 4 is for identifying and recognizing an angle in the image taken at that time. In this way, the chest height cross-sectional area is estimated and calculated in the same manner as in the Spiegel relascope method described above, based on the recorded record relating to the relationship between the diameter of the standing tree and the unit side band.
[0014]
However, when the survey target area is an inclined area, the area of the circular plot becomes smaller than that in the case of the inclination of 0 degree as described below, and therefore the width of the side band needs to be corrected in accordance with the inclination angle. It becomes.
That is, for example, in a Spiegel relascope, when a standing tree having a diameter d at an inclination angle θ is measured with a side band having the same width as a flat ground and the standing tree coincides with a unit side band, the distance a at this time is as described above. A = 50 · d.
However, since this distance a is an inclination distance, when this is converted to the horizontal distance a ′, a ′ = 50 d · Cos θ, and as described above, the area of the circular plot is smaller than that in the case of the inclination of 0 degree. As a result, a large error occurs in the measurement result. In order to prevent this, it is necessary to reduce the width of the side band as the inclination increases.
On the horizontal plane, if the diameter of the standing tree corresponding to the unit side band corresponding to the distance a ′ is d ′, the horizontal distance at that time is 50 · d ′.
a ′ = 50 · d = 50d · Cos θ, and therefore d ′ = d · Cos θ, and the width of the unit side band in mechanical design is proportional to d. Therefore, when the angle of the slope is θ, the width of the unit side band is , The width of the tilt angle 0 degrees is multiplied by the coefficient Cosθ.
[0015]
Considering the above circumstances, the standing tree
That is, first, the unit side band as the standing tree
FIG. 4 is a development view of the standing tree
In the figure, 5, 5, 5,... Indicate eight unit side bands drawn along the circumference on the surface of the roller 3a. As described above (identification number 0014), it is inconvenient on slopes even if it is adapted. Accordingly, the unit side bands 5a, 5a,... Indicated by the cosine curve are obtained by correcting such unit side bands with the cosine coefficient. The portion indicated by the line AA is the side band width used when the inclination is 0 degree. The width of the unit side band becomes narrower as the inclination angle increases in the vertical direction, and theoretically approaches zero as much as possible.
The roller 3a is pivotally supported by the support 2 and is supported by the weight 3c so that the AA line portion faces the top side no matter how the support 2 is inclined. It is as follows.
[0016]
Next, the usage of the chest height cross-sectional area measuring apparatus according to the embodiment will be described.
Standing at a fixed point P of a predetermined forest area, images are sequentially taken over 360 degrees for each predetermined angle, and this is printed out or displayed on a computer screen, and standing trees are counted by comparison with the unit sideband. At this time, 360 degrees are measured on the basis of the connection of the recordings taken for each angle with the reflected view angle marker 4 as a guide.
Therefore, for example, if the angle between the both ends of the angle-of-view marker 4 and the focal plane of the camera is set to 22.5, photographing is performed over 16 directions at the center P of the plot. For the actual counting operation, it is efficient to start up an image from a digital camera on a computer screen and count while moving the projected tree
In photographing on an inclined ground, as described above, the support 2 and the camera 1 are tilted according to the tilt angle θ. However, since the roller 3a does not move, the side band width according to the angle θ at that time is the camera. Appears at the upper end of the roller as viewed from the side, and the inclination is corrected.
[0017]
Next, an example of the chest height cross-sectional area measuring apparatus according to the embodiment will be described.
Example 1
The true value of the cross-sectional area of the chest height from a tree-scale survey using a ring measure at three locations for each of the 40-year and 54-year-old stands of Sugi and one of the 46-year-old stands of Japanese cypress And compared with the value of the chest height cross section measured using this device.
As a result, the true value is 36.5 to 52.1 (m 2 / ha), the average error of this apparatus is −9.4, the standard deviation of error is 2.24, and the average error rate is 20. It was 9%.
In forest surveys (excluding harvest surveys) in national forests, the value is close to 20%, which is normally acceptable, and accuracy can be expected if familiarized with measurement, confirming practicality.
Example 2
At 32 points in the 46-year-old Japanese cypress stand, the breast height cross-sectional area was measured using this device only 22.5 degrees below and above the slope.
As a result, the true value from the tree survey was 47.0, with an error of -5.5 and an average error rate of 11.7%. This device was found to be sufficiently practical.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention makes it possible to measure the chest height cross-sectional area by the Bitter-Rich method with a device having a simple configuration, and the data relating to the measurement remains as an image, so that the forest information can be grasped visually. However, it is easy to preserve and process it, and it contributes greatly to forest research.
