TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wet motor type internal pump mounted on the bottom of a reactor pressure vessel and circulating reactor coolant.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a boiling water nuclear power plant, a coolant is supplied to a core in a nuclear reactor, the coolant is heated in the reactor core, steam generated is guided to a turbine, and a generator is driven to generate power. 2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, a so-called improved boiling water reactor (hereinafter, appropriately referred to as ABWR), which is a further improvement of a conventional boiling water reactor, has been proposed. In this ABWR, a pump as a pump for circulating a coolant in the reactor is used as an atomizer. An internal pump attached to the bottom of the furnace pressure vessel is employed. The coolant in the reactor pressure vessel descends on the outer peripheral side in the pressure vessel along the side wall surface of the pressure vessel, and is sucked into internal pumps provided at a plurality of circumferential positions near the outer peripheral bottom in the pressure vessel. Then, it is pressurized and discharged, rises from the lower plenum below the pressure vessel, and is circulated to the core.
[0003]
The internal pump includes an impeller (impeller) positioned at the uppermost position and driven to rotate, and a fixed guide blade (diffuser) positioned below the impeller. The impeller is fixed to a rotating shaft (shaft) that stands vertically so as to penetrate the bottom surface of the pressure vessel, and the rotating shaft is driven by a wet motor provided outside the pressure vessel. Rotate. A thrust disk is arranged at the lower end of the rotating shaft.
[0004]
In the above configuration, the reactor coolant flows into the impeller from above, is introduced into the diffuser after being pressurized by the impeller, and flows out below the diffuser after the pressure is restored. On the other hand, at this time, the motor cooling water for cooling the inside of the wet motor is discharged from the auxiliary impeller by the rotation of the thrust disk, and then rises inside the motor casing of the wet motor to rotate the rotor (motor rotor) and the stator ( The motor stator) is cooled, and further guided to a heat exchanger disposed outside the motor via a pipe to be cooled. The cooled cooling water is again introduced into the auxiliary impeller via the pipe.
[0005]
Since the internal pump is one of the most important facilities that affect the operation of a nuclear power plant, high reliability is required. Further, in general, even when the pump is stopped due to a loss of the motor drive power, a design is required to maintain the rotation for a certain period of time by the inertial force and to prevent a rapid decrease in the flow rate of the reactor coolant. In particular, with the recent trend of equipment rationalization, there is a need for increasing the inertia of the internal pump.
[0006]
To cope with this, for example, as described in Japanese Patent No. 2714020, a flywheel for increasing the moment of inertia of the pump rotor is provided on the rotating shaft on the upper part of the rotor (motor rotor). A configuration has been proposed in which the rotation speed reduction speed when the motor drive power supply is lost is made as slow as possible. According to this configuration, the decrease in the natural frequency of the rotating system can be suppressed to, for example, about 10 to 20% without giving the amount of heat generated from the flywheel to the wet motor, and the inertia of the pump rotor itself is further reduced. Moment can be greatly increased.
[0007]
By the way, in the internal pump, the cooling performance of the motor is a particularly important factor from the viewpoint of maintaining the motor function and ensuring the reliability of the device. However, in the above-described internal pump according to the related art, since the flywheel has a large resistance to the circulation of the motor cooling water, there is a problem that the circulation flow rate of the motor cooling water is greatly reduced and the cooling performance of the motor is reduced. is there. To cope with this, an increase in the capacity of the auxiliary impeller and an increase in the capacity of the heat exchanger can be considered, but this is not a measure that leads to an increase in the size of the equipment. It is also conceivable to widen the annular gap formed between the outer circumference of the flywheel and the inner circumference of the motor housing. In this case, however, the pump becomes longer to obtain the required moment of inertia, and the equipment becomes larger. Leads to.
[0008]
In order to solve this problem, as disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 2569137, a structure is proposed in which a flywheel is provided with a tapered water passage hole to apply thrust to the motor cooling water to circulate the motor cooling water.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the internal pump disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 2569137, the circulation flow rate of the motor cooling water can be ensured by providing the thrust disk with the function of an auxiliary impeller and providing the flywheel with a water passage hole. However, the water holes of the flywheel are formed in a tapered shape so as to apply thrust to the cooling water. That is, since the flywheel performs the function of a pump for the motor cooling water, its power is newly required, and the equipment capacity is increased due to an increase in the motor capacity.
[0010]
Further, in addition to the above, there are the following problems.
Generally, during rotation, an upward fluid thrust force mainly generated in the impeller and a downward thrust force due to the weight of the pump rotating body simultaneously act on the internal pump. Since the fluid thrust force of the impeller increases as the rotation speed increases, there is a rotation speed region where the above-described vertical thrust force is balanced in the speed-up process from the pump stopped state to the rated operation rotation speed. In a region where the vertical thrust force is balanced, the vibration characteristics of the pump particularly tend to be unstable. For this reason, in the design of the internal pump, the rated operating speed of the pump is usually set far away from this region.
[0011]
Here, when the flywheel is provided in the internal pump, the downward thrust force increases by the additional weight of the flywheel installation compared to the internal pump without the flywheel. Therefore, the rotation speed region where the above-mentioned vertical thrust force is balanced tends to approach the pump rated rotation speed, and there is a possibility that the stability of the pump during the rated operation is reduced. However, when no water hole is provided in the flywheel, the above tendency is somewhat alleviated because an upward thrust force can be expected based on the differential pressure across the flywheel. However, when a water hole is provided in a flywheel as disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 2569137, the pressure loss when passing through the flywheel becomes small, and this upward thrust cannot be expected. It is difficult to ensure the stability of the pump.
[0012]
A first object of the present invention is to provide an internal pump that can solve the above-mentioned problems associated with the installation of a flywheel on an internal pump and that can secure the flow rate of motor cooling water without increasing the size of equipment. is there.
[0013]
A second object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems associated with the installation of a flywheel on an internal pump, and to reliably move the rotation speed region where the vertical thrust force is balanced and the pump rated rotation speed away from each other, thereby improving pump stability. It is to provide an internal pump which can secure the internal pump.
[0015]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
(1In order to achieve the first and second objects, the present invention provides a rotating shaft disposed so as to penetrate a bottom surface of a reactor pressure vessel, and fixed to the rotating shaft in the reactor pressure vessel. The impeller, and a wet motor unit provided outside the reactor pressure vessel and rotatably driving the rotating shaft, upper and lower radial bearings provided above and below the wet motor unit, and the wet motor unit, A flywheel fixed to the rotating shaft between the upper radial bearing, and an auxiliary impeller fixed to the rotating shaft below the wet motor unit and generating an upward motor cooling water flow, In an internal pump that pressurizes a reactor coolant with an impeller and circulates through the reactor pressure vessel, the flywheel has a plurality of water holes for circulating the motor coolant with the rotating shaft. Provided parallel to, and at least one of the plurality of water-passing holes, provided a stop mechanism.
The motor cooling water flow generated by the auxiliary impeller due to the rotation of the rotating shaft is guided to a wet motor section above the auxiliary impeller to cool it, and furthermore, a plurality of water flows through a flywheel located above the auxiliary impeller. The air passes through the hole and rises above the flywheel, and is circulated to the motor cooling water cooling system. At this time, by providing the water holes of the flywheel substantially parallel to the rotation axis, the flywheel does not exert a thrust on the motor cooling water unlike the conventional structure in which the water holes are tapered. Thus, an increase in the capacity of the motor can be suppressed. The circulation of the motor cooling water is mainly generated by the auxiliary impeller, and by appropriately adjusting the size and the number of the water holes substantially parallel to the rotation axis, the motor cooling water can be increased without increasing the size of the equipment. Flow rate can be secured.
In addition, the following operation is achieved. That is, when the internal pump is provided with a flywheel, the downward thrust force is increased by the additional weight of the flywheel installation as compared with the internal pump without the flywheel. Therefore, the rotation speed region where the vertical thrust force is balanced tends to approach the pump rated rotation speed, and there is a possibility that the stability of the pump during rated operation is reduced. Here, when the water hole is not provided in the flywheel, since the upward thrust force based on the pressure difference before and after the flywheel can be expected, the above tendency is somewhat alleviated. In the case where a water hole is provided in the flywheel, the pressure loss when passing through the flywheel becomes small, and this upward thrust cannot be expected much.
Therefore, in the present invention, by providing a throttle in the water passage hole provided in the flywheel, at the same time as securing the circulation flow rate of the cooling water due to the installation effect of the water passage hole, the differential pressure is generated in the flywheel and A thrust force can be obtained, and the balance of the vertical thrust force generated in the flywheel can be adjusted as appropriate. For example, by setting the throttle to minimize the circulating flow rate of motor cooling water to the minimum necessary, the effect of the upward thrust force by the flywheel can be maximized, and conversely, the effect of the upward thrust force by the flywheel can be reduced. By minimizing it to the necessary minimum, it is possible to make adjustments to ensure the maximum circulating flow rate of the cooling water. That is, it is possible to adjust the circulation flow rate and the thrust characteristic of the motor cooling water to an optimal balance according to the operation state. Thereby, the rotational speed region where the vertical thrust force is balanced can be adjusted at a predetermined ratio with respect to the rated rotational speed of the pump, for example, and can be reliably moved away from the rated rotational speed of the pump. Can be secured.
[0016]
(2)the above(1In), preferably, the aperture mechanism is detachably provided.
[0017]
(3)the above(1In) and preferably, a pressure reducing mechanism is provided in a gap formed in the outer peripheral portion of the flywheel. As a result, the front-rear differential pressure generated in the flywheel can be further increased, and an upward thrust force can be more effectively obtained.

(2) Power reduction effect due to parallel arrangement of water holes
The internal pump of the conventional structure disclosed in Japanese Patent No.Basic configurationLike the internal pump, the thrust disk has the function of an auxiliary impeller and the flywheel is provided with a water passage hole, so that the circulation flow rate of the motor cooling water can be secured. However, the water passage hole of the flywheel is formed in a tapered shape, thereby giving thrust to the cooling water. That is, since the flywheel performs the function of a pump for the motor cooling water, its power is newly required, and the equipment capacity is increased due to an increase in the motor capacity.

[0037]
In the present embodiment,Basic configurationIn addition to the same effects as described above, the following effects can be obtained.
[0038]
FIG. 8 shows the qualitative behavior of the thrust force generated in the internal pump. The thrust force generated on the vertical axis (when the vertical thrust force is balanced, the reference value is 0, the upward thrust force is positive, and the downward thrust force is positive. The thrust force is shown as minus), and the horizontal axis represents the pump rotation speed N.
Generally, during rotation, an upward fluid thrust force mainly generated by an impeller and a downward thrust force due to the weight of the pump rotating body simultaneously act on the internal pump during rotation. Since the fluid thrust force of the impeller increases as the rotation speed N increases, as shown in FIG. 8, in the speed-up process from the pump stop state to the rated operation rotation speed N0, the rotation in which the above-described vertical thrust force is balanced. There will be a number Ne. At this rotational speed Ne, the vibration characteristics of the pump particularly tend to be unstable. For this reason, in the design of the internal pump, the rotation speed Ne is usually largely apart from the rated operation rotation speed N0 of the pump. That is, the characteristic line A in FIG. 8 shows the characteristic of the internal pump having the conventional structure without the flywheel, and the rotation speed Ne1 at which the vertical thrust force is balanced is sufficiently smaller than the rated rotation speed N0 of the pump. It is designed to be.
[0039]
Here, assuming that the internal pump is provided with a flywheel, the downward thrust force is increased by the additional weight of the flywheel installation as compared with the internal pump without the flywheel. For this reason, the characteristic becomes like the characteristic line A in FIG. 8, and the rotational speed at which the above-mentioned vertical thrust force is balanced becomes Ne2, which tends to approach the pump rated rotational speed N0, and the stability of the pump during the rated operation decreases. Will be done.
[0040]
However, when water holes are not provided in the flywheel, an upward thrust force based on the pressure difference between the front and rear of the flywheel can be expected. Therefore, the above tendency is somewhat alleviated as shown by the characteristic line a 'in FIG. Have been. However, when water holes are provided in the flywheel as in the internal pump of Japanese Patent No. 2569137, the pressure loss when passing through the flywheel becomes very small, and this upward thrust cannot be expected. The characteristics are close to those of the line A, and it is difficult to secure the stability of the pump.
Therefore, in the present embodiment, by providing the
