[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-described conventional service processor has the following problems.
(1) A plurality of HCPs corresponding to each set of hardware versions are required. In this case, if a change (hereinafter referred to as a patch) occurs in the HCP due to addition of a function of the HCP itself or correction of a failure, individual patch version management is required for a plurality of HCPs. If they differ, another patch may have different address values, data, etc., even if the corresponding contents are the same, which complicates management.
[0012]
{Circle over (2)} When the same patch is applied to a plurality of HCP versions, the same verification for the patch must be performed for a plurality of HCP versions. Also, after applying a patch, a plurality of HCPs must also verify whether other parts of the HCP are not adversely affected by the patch (degrade verification).

FIG. 6 shows an example of the macro management table 33, in which one header and a plurality of entries are described.
In FIG. 6, the number of available entries or the size of the remaining area is described in the column of “number of empty tables” in the header, and the description of the entry is described in the column of “total number of tables”. The size of the possible area is described. Therefore, by subtracting the number of empty tables from the total number of tables, the number of entries currently described can be determined.

In the column of “number of available version management tables”, the size of an area that can be additionally written in the version management table 32 shown in FIG. 7 is described, and in the column of “reserved area”, blanks are set for future expansion. Is reserved for.
In the "Registrable table start address" column, the start address of an empty table when an entry is added to the macro management table 33 is described. As shown in FIG. 【The invention's effect】
As described in detail above, according to the service processor of the present invention, since one HCP can control each controlled device of a plurality of versions constituting the main system, the version number of the HCP is reduced. In addition to greatly reducing the number of steps for creating the HCP, it is not necessary to update the HCP when the main unit is updated.
[0068]
In addition, since the HCP can support multiple versions of the main unit, when the HCP patch is changed, the patch information is the same for main units having different device versions, and the HCP change man-hour and the verification man-hour at the time of the change are reduced. There is also an effect that the number of maintenance operations can be significantly reduced, and the maintenance work time required for updating the HCP can be reduced.
Furthermore, since the maintenance replacement parts when the main system unit has failed need not have the same device version as the failed part, it is possible to reduce the types of maintenance replacement parts prepared for a plurality of types of main system units. This has the effect of greatly reducing the cost of maintenance work.3).
[0069]
In addition, since the management information of the program module can be registered in each table by the function of the management unit, a revision work such as addition / change of the macro layer program module can be performed at any time during the operation of the service processor. It is no longer necessary to stop the HCP, and it is also possible to update the HCP for systems that cannot be stopped.2).
[0070]
Furthermore, by converting the control procedure into a format that conforms to the command string grammar rules by the conversion program, the control procedure can be executed on the service processor. In the state of a highly readable macro source, the operation can be verified by executing the control procedure step by step on an actual machine, and more effective macro debugging can be performed.4).
