(Time of Flight Mass Spectroscopy:TOFMAS)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a harmful substance measuring device for measuring harmful substances contained in a gas, and particularly to a polychlorinated biphenyls contained in a gas discharged from a polychlorinated biphenyls decomposition treatment facility or a waste incineration facility, and a dioxin. It is effective when applied when measuring the concentration of a halogenated organic compound such as a kind.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) is a toxic isomer of PCB-biphenyl, and its production and import are prohibited because of its high toxicity. Although production of PCBs began in Japan around 1954, the adverse effects on living bodies and the environment became apparent in the wake of the Kanemi Yusho incident. There is a history.
[0003]
PCB is obtained by substituting 1 to 10 chlorine atoms in the biphenyl skeleton, and there are theoretically 209 types of isomers depending on the number and position of the substituted chlorine atoms. Has been confirmed. In addition, PCBs have various physical and chemical properties between isomers, in vivo stability, environmental dynamics, and the like, and at present, chemical analysis and environmental pollution are complicated. Furthermore, PCB is one of the persistent organic pollutants and is not easily degraded in the environment, is fat-soluble, has a high bioconcentration rate, and is semi-volatile and can be transported through the atmosphere. In addition, it has been found that it remains widely in the environment such as water and living things. For this reason, PCBs are extremely stable in the body and accumulate in the body to cause chronic poisoning (skin damage, liver damage, etc.), as well as carcinogenicity and reproductive / developmental toxicity. .
[0004]
Such PCBs have been widely used as insulating oils for transformers and capacitors. For this reason, it is necessary to detoxify insulating oil such as transformers and capacitors using PCB. Therefore, the present applicant has previously proposed a hydrothermal decomposition apparatus for detoxifying a PCB (see, for example, JP-A-11-253796, JP-A-2000-126588 and others). FIG. 4 shows an example of the outline of this hydrothermal decomposition apparatus.

[0046]
Here, in addition to PCB, examples of the harmful substance include a vinyl chloride sheet, hazardous waste paint, waste fuel, toxic chemical, waste resin, untreated explosive, and the like. However, it is not limited to these.
[0047]
Examples of the object to be processed include, for example, transformers and capacitors using PCB as an insulating oil, and storage containers storing paints that are harmful substances, but are not limited to these. Absent.
[0048]
Also, in the ballast for fluorescent lamps, PCB has been used conventionally, so it is necessary to perform detoxification treatment. In this case, since the capacity is small, it is necessary to directly feed into the separation means 1009 without pretreatment. Can be detoxified.
[0049]
When the harmful substance is a liquid or the like, the harmful substance is detoxified by directly charging the harmful substance decomposition processing means 1013, and the container in which the harmful substance is stored can be processed by the detoxification processing of the constituent materials. It is necessary to confirm that the liquid after the treatment is 3 ppb or less, which is the PCB discharge standard. Since the configuration of the harmful substance processing means 1013 is the same as that shown in FIG. 4, the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof will be omitted.
