Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention is effective in connecting a plurality of handrails of a handrail to be installed in a building and installing and connecting a handrail to an installation wall, which can be attached to an installation wall at a connection point, particularly, in a location where water is frequently used such as a bathroom. The present invention relates to a device for connecting and attaching a handrail.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a bathroom or the like, a handrail in which a vertically extending handrail rod and a horizontally extending handrail rod are arranged in an L-shape on an installation wall has been frequently used in recent years. As a method of obtaining an L-shaped handrail, there is a method of bending a long handrail rod into an L-shape. In the case of bending, however, the radius of curvature of the handrail is required to be too small due to processing restrictions. Since it is not possible to do so, the length of the linear portion, which is particularly effective as a handrail gripping portion, is limited, leading to a decrease in the handrail function, and a bent portion for fixing the handrail rod to the installation wall surface. It is quite difficult to attach the mounting bracket, and in practice, it is customary to provide the mounting bracket in the close straight section, and it is not possible to secure sufficient mechanical strength near the bend, or Since the linear portion of the handrail rod is occupied by the metal fitting, the handrail function is further reduced.
[0003]
Although a method of connecting two handrails by an L-shaped bent portion is also adopted, both the connection between the current handrails and the mounting for fixing to the installation wall are performed, and the connection and mounting are performed. A connecting and mounting device having excellent functions and a smooth appearance in the part has not been developed, and generally a handrail is installed using a connecting bracket and a mounting bracket having a relatively rugged appearance. That is the fact.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The problem to be solved by the present invention is that the handrail rods including the bent portion can be connected to each other, and the connection point can be attached for fixing to the installation wall surface. Another object of the present invention is to provide an elegant handrail connecting and mounting device.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a handrail connecting / attaching device according to the present invention has a plurality of supporting plate portions for supporting end portions of a plurality of handrail bars from an attachment plate portion to be attached to an installation wall surface. In the device for connecting and attaching a handrail having a bracket body, a mounting plate portion of the bracket body has an extension extending along an axial direction of each of a plurality of handrails from a mounting base having a through hole for mounting. Each of the support plate portions is formed so as to form an outer surface in which a support recess for inserting and fixing the handrail rod end to be supported at an end of each of the extension portions is formed, and an inner surface opposed to the outer surface. A stepped surface is formed on the inner surface side of each of the support plate portions along the outer contour of the support plate portion perpendicular to the axis direction of each of the handrail bars, and concave portions are formed on both sides of the stepped surface. At each side edge portion of the bracket body. A bracket cover having an inner surface corresponding to the stepped surface and an outer contour having the same shape as the support plate portion and covering the mounting plate portion of the bracket main body has an inner surface on both sides of each side edge thereof. Engagement projections are protrudingly provided on the side surfaces, and both the engagement projections at each side edge of the corresponding bracket cover are elastically engaged with both the concave portions of each stepped surface of the bracket body. The bracket cover is fitted to the bracket main body, and at a required number of engagement points between the concave recess and the engaging projection, the concave recess is formed inside the stepped surface of the bracket main body. The main feature is that the engaging projection corresponding to the engaging projection is provided inwardly from the side edge of the bracket cover.
[0006]
Further, in the handrail connecting and mounting device, in order to be able to easily confirm the mounting position of the bracket body with respect to the installation wall surface, a mounting base outer surface and a mounting through-hole inner peripheral surface of the mounting plate portion of the bracket body are provided. One or both of them are provided with a positioning index on at least an axis projection line of the supported handrail bar.
[0007]
Furthermore, in order to obtain a more watertight attachment of the bracket body to the installation wall surface, the bracket body has a planar outer shape corresponding to the planar outer contour of the mounting plate portion of the bracket body, and is provided at a position corresponding to the periphery of the mounting through hole. A seat plate made of a water-tight flexible material having a mounting screw passage opening and having a downwardly ridged edge in contact with the mounting screw passage opening is provided between the installation wall surface and the mounting plate portion of the bracket body. It is characterized in that it can be attached with being interposed.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In FIG. 1, two perpendicular rails 1, 1 extending in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction are connected at their ends, and the connecting portions form the installation wall surface 2 at the ends. An installation state of an example of the connection and attachment device 5 according to the present invention, which is adapted to be attached to a tile wall surface, is shown. In the figure, reference numeral 3 denotes a joint of the wall surface of the tile, and reference numeral 4 denotes a non-connection side of the two handrail bars 1, 1 and supports and fixes the respective ends of the handrail bars 1, 1 to the installation wall surface 2. 3 shows an end bracket. The connection and mounting device 5 can be installed and used on the installation wall 2 at any place in a building that can support handrails, and is particularly used in bathrooms, washrooms, utility rooms, kitchens and the like that use a lot of water. It is effective when installed and used.
[0009]
In order to support and fix each end of the handrail rods 1 and 1 in a connected manner and to attach them to the installation wall 2, a bracket body 10 is provided in the connecting and attaching device 5. The bracket body 10 is formed of an elastic synthetic resin such as an ABS resin, for example. As is clear from FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, the bracket main body 10 is formed with an attachment plate 11 that is attached to the installation wall surface 2. The mounting plate portion 11 is disposed at a right angle from the mounting base portion 13, in which mounting through holes 12, 12, 12 for inserting mounting screws fastened to the installation wall surface 2 are formed. Each of the handrail bars 1 and 1 is constituted by an extension portion 14 extending along the axial direction of the handrail bar 1. Therefore, the mounting plate portion 11 has an L-shaped planar outer shape. At the ends of the extensions 14, 14 of the mounting plate 11, support plate portions 16, 16 having support recesses 15, 15 for inserting and fixing the ends of the handrail bars 1, 1 on the outer surface thereof are provided upright. On the inner surface opposite to the outer surface of the support plate portion 16, stepped surfaces 17, 17 are formed along the outer contour of the support plate portions 16, 16 perpendicular to the axial direction of the handrail bars 1, 1, respectively.
[0010]
Between the mounting plate portion 11 and the support plate portions 16, 16 are formed outer and inner corner side walls for joining and reinforcing them. That is, on the protruding corner side, protruding corner side walls 18, 18 whose outer surfaces are flush with the stepped surfaces 17, 17 and where the respective support plate portions 16, 16 and the mounting plate portion 11 are joined, At the corner, the outer surface is flush with the outer peripheral contour of the support plates 16, 16, and a corner wall 19 is formed to join the mounting plate 11 and the support plates 16, 16. I have. A recessed groove 21 is formed in the corner side wall 19 along the top surface 20, and the inner surface of the end of the recessed groove 21 is flush with the stepped surface 17. The concave groove 21 at the position forms one concave depression 22 described later. In addition, the other recess 23 described later is formed so as to be recessed inward from the step surface 17 on the stepped surface 17 on the protruding corner opposite to the position of the recess 22 of each support plate portion 16. Have been. Three substantially square mounting through holes 12, 12, 12 in the mounting plate portion 11 are formed so as to form an L-shape, and each of the mounting through holes 12 near the end of the handrail rod 1, 1 is formed. A groove in the thickness direction serving as a positioning index 24 is provided on the inner peripheral surface.
[0011]
There are two types of positioning indices 24 of each mounting hole 12, one positioned on the axis projection line of each handrail rod 1 and one positioned on a line perpendicular to the projection line. Also, on the outer surface of the mounting plate portion 11, a portion located on the axis projection line of each handrail bar 1, or this projection line orthogonal to the axis projection line of each handrail bar 1 and attached to the mounting through hole 12. A groove in the thickness direction serving as a positioning index 25 is provided at a location where a straight line passing through the positioning index 24 perpendicular to the direction intersects the outer surface of the mounting plate portion 11. Further, a fitting shaft 26 having a tapered tip is provided near the inner wall 19 for the purpose of guiding the engagement of a bracket cover 35 described later and reinforcing the engaged state. Have been. As shown in FIG. 3, a shallow circular recess 34 surrounding the mounting holes 12, 12, 12 is formed on the back surface of the mounting plate 11.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 5, the support plate portion 16 is formed to be thick, and the support concave portion 15 is formed by a circular hole formed from the outer surface of the support plate portion 16 to the deep inner wall 27, The gap is formed with an annular projection 28 projecting beyond the outer surface of the plate portion 16. A communication hole 29 is formed in the lower portion of the support recess 15 from the mounting plate 11 side toward the support recess 15. As the handrail rod 1 used in the present invention, a synthetic resin-coated steel pipe obtained by coating a soft, semi-rigid, or hard synthetic resin coating layer 31 on a steel pipe 30 such as a stainless steel pipe is used. A coated steel pipe is used in which concave portions for gripping along the longitudinal direction of the handrail 1 are arranged at intervals on the outer surface of the synthetic resin coating layer 31. Then, the synthetic resin coating layer 31 at the distal end portion of the handrail bar 1 is peeled from the predetermined position to the distal end to a thickness corresponding to the shape of the support concave portion 15 so that the synthetic resin coating layer 31 can be inserted into the support concave portion 15 of the support plate portion 16. The coating layer is processed and reduced in diameter. In addition, a through hole 32 for allowing the fixing screw 33 to pass therethrough is formed in the distal end portion.
[0013]
When the handrail rod 1 is fixed to the support plate 16, if the tip of the handrail rod 1 whose diameter has been reduced is inserted into the support recess 15, the inner periphery of the steel pipe 30 of the handrail rod 1 comes into contact with the annular projection 28. The steel pipe 30 is supported so as not to be easily pulled out. When the fixing screw 33 is passed through the through hole 32 formed at the tip of the handrail rod 1 and screwed to the annular projection 28 through the communication hole 29, the handrail rod 2 is completely fixed to the support plate portion 16. In this state, the surface of the synthetic resin coating layer 31 of the handrail 2 is accommodated in the outer contour of the support plate portion 16 or is attached so as to form the same surface as the outer contour and the outer peripheral portion. In FIG. 5, reference numeral 6 denotes a mounting screw tightened from the mounting through hole 12 of the mounting plate portion 11 to the installation wall 2 to mount the bracket main body 10 on the installation wall 2, and reference numeral 7 denotes mounting. 6 shows a washer through which the screw 6 is inserted.
[0014]
The bracket cover 35 that covers the bracket body 10 is formed of a resilient hard synthetic resin such as an ABS resin or a metal, for example, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, at each side edge 36, 36. Has an inner surface corresponding to the stepped surface 17 of the support plate portion 16 of the bracket main body 10, has the same outer shape as the support plate portion 16, and has an inset corner from the outer corner side including the outer corner side wall portions 18 and 18. It is shaped to cover the mounting plate 11 over the top surface 20 of the side wall 19. Therefore, when the bracket body 35 is covered with the bracket cover 35, the lower edge 37 on the outer corner reaches the position corresponding to the lower surface of the mounting plate portion 11 of the bracket 10, and the lower edge 38 on the inner corner is in the corner. It reaches a position where it contacts the top surface 20 of the side wall 19. On the inner side surfaces of the side edge portions 36, 36 at positions corresponding to the one concave recesses 22 on the stepped surface 17 of the support plate portion 16, hanging engagement projections 39 are provided. An inward engaging projection 40 is provided on the inner surface of the stepped surface 17 at a position corresponding to the concave recess 23. The bracket cover 35 further has a fitting tube shaft 41 that can be fitted to the fitting shaft 26 in correspondence with the position of the fitting shaft 26 in the bracket body 11.
[0015]
When the bracket cover 35 is covered and mounted on the bracket body 10, the fitting tube shaft 41 of the bracket cover 35 is fitted and pushed into the fitting shaft 26 of the bracket body 10, and the stepped surface of the bracket body 10 is eventually formed. 17 comes into contact with the side edge 36 of the bracket cover 35, and the outer peripheral edge of the mounting plate 11 of the bracket body 10 is enclosed by the lower edge 37 of the bracket cover 35, and the top surface 20 of the bracket main body 10 At the same time, the lower edge 38 of the bracket cover 35 comes into contact with the inside corner, and at the same time, the engaging projections 39 and 40 of the bracket cover 35 are resiliently engaged with the concave recesses 22 and 23 of the bracket body 10, respectively. The engaging projections 40 are provided so as to project inward, and the concave recesses 23 are provided so as to be recessed inward from the stepped surface 17. A locked state without detachment can be obtained.
[0016]
Further, since the outer surface contour of the support plate portion 16 of the bracket body 10 and the outer surface of the side edge portion 36 of the bracket cover 35 are formed flush with each other, there is no step that causes resistance to the grasped hand, and the connection is made. A smooth appearance with no noticeable parts can be obtained. Further, since the engaging projections 39 and 40 and the concave recesses 22 and 23 are both resiliently engaged at positions on the stepped surface 17, the bracket cover 35 has its side edge portion 36 The external force applied to the bracket cover 35 is constantly maintained on the stepped surface 17 and can be transmitted to the bracket body 10 without local stress concentration. There is no gap between them.
[0017]
In order to install the connecting and attaching device 5 on the installation wall 2, the ends of the two handrails 1, 1 to be connected are first peeled as described above, and the end of each handrail 1 is attached to the bracket body. 10 and fixed in the supporting recess 15. In this state, the two handrail bars 1, 1 are connected. Since the stepped surface of the coating layer is formed at the position where the skinning process is started, if the stepped surface of the coating layer is brought into close contact with the outer surface of the support plate portion 11 of the bracket body 10, the watertightness of the portion is reduced. Thus, it is possible to prevent water from entering the inside of the bracket body 10. Next, by attaching the opposite ends of the handrail rods 1 and 1 to the end brackets 4 and 4, respectively, an assembled handrail assembly is completed. With respect to such an assembly, a positioning index 24 provided on the mounting through-hole 12 and a positioning index 25 provided on the outer surface of the mounting plate portion 11 are utilized on the installation wall 2 of the connection and mounting device 5. Set the installation position.
[0018]
For example, the installation wall 2 is a tile surface through which the joints 3 pass vertically and horizontally, and the connecting and attaching device 5 is arranged at the intersection of the joints 3, and all the mounting screws 6 are arranged on the joints 3. When it is desired to prevent punching, with respect to the handrail rod extending in the vertical direction, the positioning indices 24 and 25 provided on the axis projection line of the support plate 16 to which the vertical handrail rod 1 is fixed are moved up and down. With regard to the handrail rod extending in the horizontal direction while being aligned with the joint position passing in the horizontal direction, the positioning indices 24 and 25 given on the axis projection line of the support plate 16 to which the horizontal handrail rod 1 is fixed are moved in the horizontal direction. The center of the mounting holes 12, 12, 12 is located on the vertical joint of the tile, the horizontal joint, and the intersection of the vertical joint and the horizontal joint. In this state, if the mounting screws 6 are tightened, all the mounting screws 6 are located on the tile surface, and the connection and mounting device 5 can be mounted on the installation wall 2 without drilling on the tile. Is possible.
[0019]
The mounting screws 6 do not necessarily need to be inserted and tightened in all of the mounting through holes 12, 12, 12, and a required number of insertion tightenings is sufficient. Needless to say, the positioning and indexing devices 24 and 25 can be aligned with the normal score lines on the installation wall 2 to position the coupling and mounting device 5. In general, the use of the positioning indices 24 and 25 allows the connecting and mounting device 5 to be mounted quickly and accurately, thereby increasing the efficiency of the mounting operation. After the attachment and attachment device 5 is attached, the end brackets 4 and 4 are attached, and the work of installing the handrail is completed. When the installation wall surface 2 is a tile surface, if the end brackets 4 and 4 are provided with the mounting screw holes on the axis projection line of the handrails 1 and 1, all the mountings to be fastened are used. Screws can be placed on the tile floor.
[0020]
Although the bracket main body 10 can be directly attached to the installation wall surface 2, the watertightness of the attachment portion can be improved by attaching the bracket body 10 with a seat plate 45 as shown in FIG. 3 interposed. The seat plate 45 is formed of a watertight flexible material, for example, rubber or a soft synthetic resin material. As shown in detail in FIG. 6 and FIG. It has a planar outer shape corresponding to the planar outer shape contour, has an upwardly projecting portion 46 protruding closely fitted into the communication hole 29 of the bracket body 10, and has a shape corresponding to the orbital concave portion 34 of the mounting plate portion 11. A mounting screw passage opening 49 is provided with a chevron 48 projecting downward from the orbiting top edge 47. Prior to the mounting of the bracket body 10 to the installation wall surface 2, the seat plate 40 is temporarily attached by closely fitting the upward projecting portions 46, 46 to the communication holes 29 of the bracket body 10.
[0021]
The bracket body 10 to which the seat plate 45 is temporarily attached is attached to a predetermined portion of the attachment wall 2 with the attachment screw 6, but the attachment screw 6 passes through the attachment screw passage opening 49 and is screwed into the installation wall 2 at the time of fastening. The chevron 48 pressed by the mounting bracket 10 and the installation wall surface 2 is accommodated in the concave portion 34 of the bracket main body 10 in a deformed state so as to isolate the mounting screw passage opening 49 from the outside in a watertight manner. Therefore, it is possible to prevent as much as possible that water intrudes from the gap between the mounting bracket body 10 and the installation wall surface 2 and enters the inside of the installation wall surface 2 from the mounting screw 6. The upward projecting portion 46 closely fitted to the communication hole 29 of the mounting bracket 10 has a function of preventing water that has entered from a gap between the bracket main body 10 and the installation wall surface 2 from entering the fixed support portion of the handrail rod 1.
[0022]
The above-described embodiment is directed to the connection and mounting device 5 in which the two handrail bars 1, 1 are disposed at right angles, but as shown in FIG. The present invention also includes a connecting and mounting device 8 in which the three handrail bars 1, 1, 1 are disposed in a T-shape as shown in FIG. It is included in the embodiment. In these embodiments, the engagement of the bracket cover on the stepped surface of the bracket main body is the same as that of the above-described connecting and mounting device 5 on the corner, and on the straight side, It is configured in the same manner as the above-mentioned engaging portion on the protruding corner side of the connecting and attaching device 5.
[0023]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention has the following effects.
A. Since the railing rod can be connected and attached to the installation wall at the connection portion, the strength is superior to the case where the connecting tool and the mounting tool are separately installed, and the appearance is simple and elegant.

The mounting screws, etc. in the bracket body are covered with the bracket cover, and the connection surface between the bracket body and the bracket cover is flush, so that the mounting screw head is not exposed, and the step that feels resistance to the grasped hand Does not occur, and a smooth appearance in which connection points are inconspicuous can be obtained.
E. FIG. Since the engaging projections of the bracket cover are resiliently engaged with the recesses on the stepped surface of the bracket body, the side edges of the bracket cover are always maintained on the stepped surface of the bracket body, and The applied external force can be transmitted to the bracket main body without local concentration of stress, and a gap is not generated between the bracket main body and the bracket cover even with use over time.
F. One of the engagement protrusions on the bracket cover is provided so as to project inward, and the recess of the bracket body corresponding to the engagement protrusion is provided so as to be recessed inward from the stepped surface. The bracket cover in the covered state can obtain a locked state without easily detaching from the bracket body.
[0025]
G. FIG. By using the positioning index provided on the mounting through hole of the bracket body and the positioning index provided on the outer surface of the mounting plate, positioning on the mounting wall of the connecting and mounting device is performed. The positioning operation such as arranging all the mounting screws on the tile floor can be performed quickly and accurately, so that the efficiency of the installation work can be improved.
H. By mounting the bracket body to the installation wall surface with the seat plate interposed, the watertightness of the mounting portion can be improved.
I. In the case of a handrail having a bent or branched portion such as an L-shape or T-shape, bending or welding connection of the handrail rod is unnecessary, and the handrail is securely mounted and fixed to the installation wall at the bent portion or the branch portion. Therefore, there is no need to separately install a fixture in the middle of the handrail bar, and the radius of curvature at the bent portion and the branch portion can be reduced, so that the length of the straight portion of the handrail bar, which is the effective length of the handrail bar, is increased. Can be.
