TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a heating element cooling device that cools a heating element such as an electric motor (hereinafter abbreviated as a motor) or an inverter, and more particularly to an electric vehicle driven by a motor, and a driving motor and an engine (internal combustion engine). (Hereinafter, collectively referred to simply as an electric vehicle).
[0002]
[Prior art]
In an electric vehicle, it is necessary to cool heating elements such as a motor, an inverter, a generator, and a battery.
For this reason, as in a normal vehicle using only an engine, means for circulating cooling water between the heating element and the radiator can be considered. In this means, a radiator for cooling the heating element is newly provided. Since it is necessary, there is a problem that vehicle mountability is low.
[0003]
Thus, for example, in the invention described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 5-344606, the provision of a new radiator is prevented by cooling the heating element by an air conditioner (vapor compression refrigeration cycle).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the means described in the above publication, since the heating element is cooled by the evaporator of the vapor compression refrigeration cycle, that is, the refrigerant after the pressure is reduced by the pressure reducer, the compression work corresponding to the reduced pressure in the pressure reducer in the compressor. (Mechanical work) increases. For this reason, the power consumption for driving the compressor increases, and the problem that the mileage of the electric vehicle becomes shorter is newly generated.
[0005]
In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to cool a heating element using a vapor compression refrigeration cycle and to suppress an increase in mechanical work required to cool the heating element.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention uses the following technical means to achieve the above object. According to the first aspect of the present invention, the bypass path (160) for guiding the refrigerant flowing out of the radiator (120) to the refrigerant inflow side of the radiator (120), and the pump means (160) for flowing the refrigerant through the bypass path (160). 180) and a heating element cooling means (170) for cooling the heating element (230) by exchanging heat between the refrigerant flowing through the bypass path (160) and the heating element (230). ).
[0008]
Accordingly, the pump work (mechanical work) performed by the pump means (180) is a work amount corresponding to the pressure loss when the refrigerant flows through the heating element cooling means (170). It is possible to suppress an increase in mechanical work required for cooling.
The invention according to claim 2 is characterized in that a check valve (200) for preventing the refrigerant discharged from the compressor (110) from flowing into the bypass passage (160) is provided.
[0009]
As a result, as described later, it is possible to prevent the heating element (230) from being damaged and to prevent the refrigeration capacity of the vapor compression refrigeration cycle (RC) from decreasing .
[0012]
Incidentally , the reference numerals in parentheses of the respective means are examples showing the correspondence with specific means described in the embodiments described later.
