Description
【0001】

[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, power supply to a DC positive terminal and a DC negative terminal in an electric railway has been performed by a DC power supply obtained by performing full-wave rectification on a three-phase AC power supply. However, since this DC power source contains a harmonic component of 6 m times (m = 1, 2, 3,...) The AC power source frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) in principle, when this is transmitted to the feeder line, There is a possibility that a guidance failure may occur in a communication line laid in parallel with the feeder line. For this reason, it has been attempted to provide a filter device to absorb the harmonic components and reduce the harmonic components contained in the feeder line.
[0003]
In recent years, DC substations for electric railways use 12-phase rectifiers instead of the conventional 6-phase rectifiers in order to reduce the amount of harmonics to the AC power supply and meet regulations (harmonic suppression measures guidelines). It is increasingly used (see JP-A-10-42466). As shown in FIG. 3, a conventional electric railway filter device of an electric railway DC substation using a 12-phase rectifier has

【The invention's effect】
In the filter device for an electric railway according to the first aspect, the short-circuit current at the time of the ground fault can be cut off with a sufficient margin by the circuit breaker. As a result, the reliability of circuit protection at the time of a ground fault is improved, the protection coordination is excellent, and the train and other equipment can be protected. Further, the filter capacity of the filter device can be reduced, and the size of the entire filter device can be reduced. Further, since the filter shunt is formed by connecting the resonance capacitor and the resonance reactor in series, the circuit can be simplified and the cost can be reduced.
[0021]
According to the filter device for an electric railway of the second aspect, it is possible to reduce the size and the size of the container accommodating the current limiting reactor and the filter shunt. As a result, space saving and weight reduction of the entire apparatus can be achieved, which can contribute to reduction in manufacturing cost.
