【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to a stereoscopic rigid endoscope for observing and photographing an object three-dimensionally using a rigid endoscope.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The stereoscopic rigid endoscope includes an objective lens that forms an object image, a primary optical system including a relay lens that transmits the image, a pupil dividing unit that divides an image transmitted by the primary optical system into left and right, A secondary optical system for observing or imaging each of the two images obtained, and used for medical use for observing a site in a body cavity, or industrial use for observing the inside of a machine such as an engine. Can be This type of stereoscopic rigid endoscope is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 6-194581.
[0003]
In order to enable stereoscopic viewing, it is necessary to observe one object from different directions, and for that purpose, it is necessary to guide light beams passing through different regions in the pupil to the left and right secondary optical systems. . Therefore, a pupil dividing unit such as a roof mirror is arranged at the pupil position of the primary optical system to divide the pupil of the primary optical system into right and left, and a central axis of a pair of light beams incident on the secondary optical system is fixed on the pupil. They are arranged so as to have an interval (incident axis interval).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional stereoscopic rigid endoscope, since the pupil dividing means is fixedly provided, the interval between the incident axes of the secondary optical system is also fixed. Such a demand could not be met even when it was desired to change the (floating degree).
[0005]
[Object of the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the related art, and has a rigid stereoscopic endoscope capable of changing a stereoscopic effect of an observation visual field by changing an interval between incident axes of a secondary optical system. The purpose is to provide.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a stereoscopic rigid endoscope according to the present invention has a primary optical system having an objective lens system and a relay lens system arranged in order from the object side, and a primary optical system disposed at a pupil position of the primary optical system. Pupil division means for dividing at least a part of a light beam in a pupil into two regions so that an object can be observed from different directions, and reflects at least a part of light emitted from the primary optical system in directions different from each other. A pupil splitting unit composed of two mirrors, a pair of secondary optical systems for observing respective images formed by the light beams split by the pupil splitting unit, and a light beam incident on one of the secondary optical systems. In order to adjust the interval between the central axis and the central axis of the light beam incident on the other secondary optical system on the pupil, it is characterized by comprising adjusting means for adjusting the interval between mirrors in the pupil plane. I do.

In order to enable stereoscopic viewing, it is necessary to observe one object from different directions, and for that purpose, it is necessary to guide light beams passing through different regions in the pupil to the left and right secondary optical systems. . According to this configuration, the left and right positions of the pupil split mirrors 20 and 21 can be adjusted as a whole by rotating and adjusting the left and right position adjustment knobs 44a fixed to the left and right position adjustment screws 44, and By adjusting the front / rear
[0019]
In the first embodiment, a mechanism for adjusting each adjustment screw by manually rotating each adjustment screw with an adjustment knob is employed. However, a mechanism for adjusting these by power using driving means such as a stepping motor is employed. You can also.
[0020]
FIG. 3 shows a state where the pupil split mirrors 20 and 21 are closest to each other and the split lines 20a and 21a of the respective mirrors coincide at the position where the split lines 20a and 21a intersect the optical axis Ax1, and FIG. (B) is a front view seen from the primary optical system side. The interval between the central axes Ax2 and Ax3 of the light beam incident on the secondary optical system (incident axis interval) is set to a reference value d0. In this state, the three-dimensional effect of the observation field of view is relatively small because the interval between the incident axes is narrow, which is suitable for observing an object at a short distance. However, since the light amount is maximized, a bright field of view can be secured.
[0021]
FIG. 4 shows a state in which the pupil splitting mirrors 20 and 21 are farthest apart from each other. The interval between the central axes Ax2 and Ax3 of the light beams L2 and L3 incident on the secondary optical system (incident axis interval) is larger than the reference value d0. It is set to a large value d1. When the distance between the central axes of the light beams incident on the secondary optical system increases, the amount of light incident on the secondary optical system decreases, but if the distance from the objective lens to the object to be observed is the same, the expected angle with respect to the object increases. Therefore, a three-dimensional appearance (degree of lifting) can be increased. Therefore, even when the object distance is longer, a three-dimensional effect can be obtained.
[0022]
According to the configuration of the first embodiment, by adjusting the distance between the pupil splitting mirrors 20 and 21, the distance between the central axes Ax2 and Ax3 of the light beam incident on the secondary optical system on the pupil Ep can be changed. As a result, the three-dimensional effect can be appropriately changed, so that an appropriate three-dimensional effect can be selected according to the observation target and the working distance.

In the configuration of the second embodiment, since the pupil split mirrors 20 and 21 do not move as in the first embodiment, the optical path length does not change, and the focus does not need to be readjusted even when the interval between the incident axes is changed.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the interval of the central axis (interval of the incident axis) on the pupil of the primary optical system is changed by operating the adjusting means. This makes it possible to change the stereoscopic effect of the observation visual field when observing with both eyes. Therefore, it is possible to observe with a stereoscopic effect desired by the observer according to the observation target or the object distance.
