本発明は、第一筐体と、前記第一筐体と結合及び分離可能な第二筐体と、を含む電子機器に関し、特に、組立及び分解を容易にすることができるとともに、嵌合筐体の剛性を向上させることができる電子機器に関する。

【従来の技術】
携帯無線機、携帯電話機等の電子機器は、筐体内に基板、表示パネル等の電子部品を実装をしている。このため、通常の筐体は、第一筐体と、この第一筐体と結合する第二筐体と、に分割することができる。

従来の電子機器の一般的な例を図7、8に示す。図7は、従来例1に係る電子機器の分解斜視図である。この電子機器101の筐体は、第一筐体102と第二筐体103のそれぞれの係合爪ないしリブ同士のスライド係合手段(107、108)とねじ締結手段(106、109)によって結合したものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記従来例1におけるスライド係合は次のような問題を生ずる(図7参照)。従来例1のスライド係合構造におけるスライド係合の解除を防止する手段は、ねじ締結(106、109)だけである。このねじ締結は、係合解除方向のスライドを直接的に防止する手段ではなく、ねじ締結部(106、109)からスライド係合部(107、108)までの筐体剛性に頼った間接的なスライド防止手段である。このような構造であると、この装置に加わる外力、特に、装置の長手方向を軸とし筐体をねじるようにして外力がかかった場合、係合部におけるスライド係合爪と係合爪は係合解除方向へ互いにスライドしてしまう。

また、前記従来例1は、筐体のねじ締結部付近ないし係合爪付近で筐体が破壊するおそれがある。すなわち、近年の筐体の小型化・軽量化に伴って、筐体の肉圧が薄くなり、従来のように筐体の剛性を確保することができない現状にあっては、外力により、筐体のねじ締結部付近ないし係合爪付近で筐体が破壊する可能性が極めて高くなっている。つまり、スライド係合の開き方向に外力がかかると外力は集中的に第一筐体のねじ部(106、109)に係り、肉厚の薄い筐体では、この外力に耐えることは困難である。

一方、前記従来例2における可撓性の掛合爪による掛合は次のような問題を生ずる(図8参照)。可撓性掛合爪を用いた掛合構造は、分割面の直交方向で筐体どうしを押し込み掛合爪113と掛合爪114とを互いに噛み合わせるものであり、この掛合構造は、掛合爪ないしリブの設置箇所や方向の工夫により、従来例1のスライド係合構造に比べねじれ外力に対する筐体の嵌合剛性を強固なものにすることが可能である。しかし、可撓性掛合爪おいて、分割面の直交方向の開きに対する掛合剛性を増加させるには、掛合爪の数又は噛み量(爪の幅)を増やすしか手段はない。掛合爪の数を増やすことはおのずと限界があり、噛み量を調整することが一般的に行われる。しかし、噛み量を増やすこと自体は筐体の嵌合剛性を増すという点で利点はあるが、一旦掛合した筐体を分解することは困難となる。可撓性掛合爪を用いた掛合構造はスライド係合構造と異なり、その掛合作業が可逆的ではない。すなわち、筐体の分解に適さない。これは、可撓性掛合爪の形状が、掛合時には容易に撓み、掛合を外す際には容易に撓まない形状をしているためである。このようなことから筐体の嵌合剛性は強固なものとなり、装置に働く外力に対して掛合は外れにくくなるものの、装置分解時の掛合を外す作業を困難なものとしてしまう。

また、可撓性掛合爪の場合の筐体について、ピック等の治具を用いて分解すればよいではないかとの考えもあるが、治具によって筐体分割面周縁部を傷つけてしまい、商品性を低下させてしまうおそれがある。

さらに、筐体設計者は、この装置の外力に対する外れ難さと、装置の分解での外し易さとの兼ね合いでジレンマにおちいる。これが、可撓性掛合爪を用いた筐体嵌合構造での問題点である。

本発明の実施の形態を図面を用いて説明する。図5は、本発明の形態1に係る電子機器の係合部における係合状態を模式的に示したものである。

本発明によれば、筐体の分割部の内壁に渡る各係合爪同士の係合により、筐体は係合拘束方向と係合スライド方向と直交する方向のずれは拘束され、ロック部材により、係合爪のスライドは防止され、係合解除方向も拘束される。これによって、第一筐体と第二筐体の係合は全方向に対し拘束され、筐体嵌合は強固なものとなる。
