Description
【0001】

[Background Art]
Conventionally, in motorcycles such as scooter-type motorcycles, leg shields that cover the occupant's legs are attached to both sides of the front portion of the body frame in order to prevent rain or wind from directly hitting the occupant's legs during traveling ( See Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 10-16851).
[0003]
By the way, the conventional leg shield is made of a plate member such as a synthetic resin plate or a metal plate. However, the leg shield has the required strength and is capable of accurately responding to the mounting part of the body frame. Due to the requirement of the leg shield itself, it is necessary to design it into a complicated shape, so rather, the shape of the appearance is limited, and sufficient consideration is not given to the appearance shape with aesthetic appearance. However, there is a problem that it is difficult to design a desired shape in appearance, and the complicated shape makes it difficult to paint, and in particular, the rear surface facing the occupant of the leg shield (the above-described known surface). However, there is another problem that the tendency becomes large and the cost is increased, and the quality is further reduced.
[0004]
In addition, this type of motorcycle may be used with the leg shield removed depending on the region or season, in this case, in the conventional motorcycle, the attachment and removal of the leg shield to the vehicle body is troublesome, However, when the leg shield is removed, a gap is formed in the body of the motorcycle, and the interior can be seen from the gap, resulting in another problem that the appearance of the motorcycle is deteriorated.
[0005]
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, the present invention can ensure high rigidity without making the leg shield a complicated shape, and can easily be formed into a desired shape in appearance, particularly a three-dimensional shape, and enhance the design effect as a whole. A new motorcycle leg shield structure that makes it easier to paint, makes it easier to remove the leg shield, and does not impair the appearance of the appearance when the leg shield is removed Its primary purpose is to provide.

For the purposes achieved, according to the first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a structure of a leg shield covering the occupant legs attached to the front sides and to Zajo on a sheet of a vehicle body frame, leg shields A front wall portion that extends obliquely in a direction away from the front to the rear with respect to the body frame, and a rear wall that is bent inward from a rear portion of the front wall portion and extends toward the body frame so as to face the legs of the occupant. And a leg shield body having at least a portion , wherein the front wall portion and the rear wall portion are integrally formed without a seam, and a mounting boss is integrally protruded from an inner surface of the leg shield. mounting boss detachably mounted superimposed on the side surface of the main pipe side cover for covering the side of the main pipe of the body frame, the leg shield and main pipe Sai A cover is that the hollow body cross-section triangular is formed, according to this aspect, without forming a leg shield into complex shapes, revealing a three-dimensional effect with to retain desired stiffness As a result, the appearance can be greatly improved, and further, the coating becomes easy, which can contribute to cost reduction.
[0007]
According to the second feature of the present invention, the rear wall portion facing the occupant is formed such that its cross section is concave when viewed from the occupant side. Even if it is formed, the free movement of the occupant's legs can be ensured, and a lightness in appearance can be exhibited.
[0008]
To achieve the above object, according to a third aspect of the present invention, the leg shield includes the leg shield main body and a separate inner shield detachably fixed to an open inner surface thereof. That is, according to such a feature, the manufacture of the leg shield is facilitated. To achieve the above object, according to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the leg shield is assembled in a small set, and the inside facing the side surface of the main pipe is detachably attached to the main pipe side cover.
