Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a golf club head, and more particularly to a hollow metal golf club head.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a golf club head having a hollow portion compensates for a shortage of the weight when it does not reach a planned weight in manufacturing, or intentionally improves the return of the head to prevent slicing. On the contrary, weights are added to prevent hooks.
[0003]
For example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 62-72669 (Conventional Example 1) discloses a golf club head in which a weight is provided on the back side substantially at the center of the head. JP-A-63-154186 (conventional example 2) and Japanese Patent No. 2606628 (conventional example 3) provide golf clubs in which a plurality of weights are provided on the back side or one weight is provided on the back side. It is disclosed. Further, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 6-81555 (conventional example 4 ) discloses a golf club head capable of fixing a weight at an appropriate position of a sole.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the golf club head of Conventional Example 1, since the large neck portion bulges on the heel side, the center of gravity is close to the heel side with respect to the center of the head, and the weight to be attached is relative to the center of gravity. It is in a state of being arranged on the toe side. For this reason, there is a tendency that the center-of-gravity angle tends to be small, and slices are likely to occur during hitting.
[0005]
In addition, the golf clubs disclosed in the above-described Conventional Example 2 and Conventional Example 3 try to increase the inertia moment in the vertical direction of the head by providing a weight on the back side. It cannot be lowered. In particular, the golf club disclosed in Conventional Example 2 has a plurality of weights, so that the weight is dispersed and the weight effect is reduced.
[0006]
Further, in the golf club disclosed in the above-mentioned conventional example 4, the weight fixing position on the heel side is on the heel side (substantially equivalent position) with respect to the sole intersection of the shaft axis. There is a drawback that the side becomes too heavy.
[0007]
As described above, the conventional golf club head as described above is not in a reasonable weight balance because the center of gravity is increased by attaching the weight, or the heel side and the toe side are approached. . That is, it is not a golf club head that has a low center of gravity and a sweet spot in the center area of the face that is easy to handle even for beginners, and that has a deep center of gravity depth and is easy to raise the ball.
[0008]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-mentioned problems, and provides a golf club head that is easy for a beginner to hit without lowering the center of gravity of the head and increasing the depth of center of gravity and without causing slicing. With the goal.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a golf club head of the present invention has a top, a sole, a side, and a face, and is provided with a shaft fastening portion at a position lower than the uppermost portion of the top. It is made of a hollow metal in which the center of gravity G is located , and a weight is provided only on the sole on the toe side from the intersection K with the sole of the shaft axis and on the heel side and the back side of the center of gravity G.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a golf club according to the present invention will be described.
[0011]
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a golf club head (hereinafter referred to as a head) 1 is formed in a hollow shape by a metal material such as titanium, titanium alloy, stainless steel, etc., and includes a top 1a, a sole 1b, and a toe. 1c, a

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, since the center of gravity of the head is low and the depth of center of gravity is deep, it is possible to obtain a golf club that is easy to hit and raise the ball easily. Further, the balance in the toe-heel direction is improved, and a golf club that is easy for a beginner to hit can be obtained without slicing.
