FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an intake system of an internal combustion engine and a control system of the internal combustion engine including the intake system, and more particularly, to an intake system of an internal combustion engine provided with an air flow rate measurement sensor for measuring an intake air flow rate and control of the internal combustion engine including the same. About the system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art A conventional air flow measurement sensor for measuring an amount of air taken into an internal combustion engine of an automobile has a structure in which a sensing unit such as a thermal resistance is mounted in a chamber having the same inner diameter as an intake air passage. An intake air passage leading to the air cleaner is connected to the upstream side of the chamber, and an intake air passage leading to the internal combustion engine via the throttle chamber is connected to the downstream side. Then, a rectifying grid such as a mesh or a honeycomb is provided at the upstream end and the downstream end of the chamber to which the sensing unit is attached, so that the intake air is rectified to reduce output noise.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The mounting position of the conventional air flow rate measuring sensor is relatively far from the air cleaner element, and is generally located near the throttle body side. However, recently, it has been considered to attach a sensor for measuring an air flow rate to a position close to an air cleaner or in an air cleaner case. As a structure of the air flow measurement sensor when the air flow measurement sensor is attached to such a position, a plug-in type in which the sensing unit is inserted from an opening provided on the outer wall of the intake air passage is being studied. .
[0004]
When installing the air flow measurement sensor in the position close to the air cleaner or in the air cleaner case, due to the layout of the engine, if there is a bent pipe or a divergent pipe upstream of the mounting position In many cases, installing an air flow measurement sensor downstream of these bent pipes and expansion pipes increased the output noise of the air flow measurement sensor, and found that it was difficult to measure the air flow with high accuracy. . In addition, in a plug-in type air flow measuring sensor, it is difficult to install a rectifying grid such as a mesh or a honeycomb. Therefore, when a plug-in type air flow measurement sensor is installed downstream of a bent pipe or a divergent pipe, the output noise of the air flow measurement sensor increases, and the air flow rate cannot be measured with high accuracy. was there.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide an intake system of an internal combustion engine capable of reducing the output noise of an air flow rate measurement sensor and measuring the air flow rate with high accuracy, and providing a control system of the internal combustion engine capable of performing high precision control. .
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an intake system for an internal combustion engine having an air flow rate measuring sensor for detecting an air flow rate flowing through the intake air passage in an intake air passage through which air taken into the internal combustion engine flows. In the system, the intake air passage communicates with at least the air cleaner side, and has a bent portion close to an element of the air cleaner, and a spread portion located downstream of the bent portion and having a gradually increasing cross-sectional area. A duct, which is connected to the duct, communicates with the internal combustion engine, and has an air passage body having a narrowing portion having a gradually decreasing cross-sectional area, and the air flow measurement sensor is formed in the air passage body. A sensing part for detecting an air flow rate from the opening is inserted into the intake air passage, and the sensing part of the narrowed part of the air passage body is Has a structure that is attached to the flow, further, is placed inside the duct And composed of two plates orthogonal to each other A first straightening plate, inside the air passage body and upstream of a mounting portion of the air flow rate measuring sensor; The narrowed portion And the second rectifying plate is provided with the first rectifying plate and a second rectifying plate provided with a gap therebetween. Is before The intake air passage formed in the body of the air passage body is divided into three parts. Two sheets A plate and a plate orthogonal to these plates are provided, and a detection unit for directly detecting an intake air amount in the sensing unit of the air flow measurement sensor is installed at a position away from a projection plane of the plate.
In this way, the output noise of the air flow measurement sensor can be reduced, the air flow can be measured with high accuracy, and the influence of the separation vortex generated at the downstream end of the second rectifying plate Take Can be removed. "

According to each of the embodiments described above, the accuracy of the air flow rate measuring sensor can be improved by employing the intake system of the internal combustion engine having the first and second rectifying plates. An in-type air flow measurement sensor can be used. In the plug-in type air flow measurement sensor, unlike the conventional case, it is not necessary to prepare an air flow measurement sensor having a shape and a structure suitable for each engine, and the air flow measurement sensor can be standardized. As a result, a sensor for measuring the air flow rate can be provided at a low price. Further, the position for installing the air flow rate measuring sensor is widened, and the man-hour for designing the engine layout can be greatly reduced.
