【0001】
Pv=(Ah/Ab)×Ps …(1)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a floating type poppet valve device used for thrust control or the like in a thruster device of a rocket engine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a rocket engine using a solid propellant, the flow rate of combustion gas passing through the nozzle throat is controlled by changing the throat area in the nozzle throat leading to the combustion chamber. As a technique for controlling the throat area of the nozzle throat portion, the invention of Japanese Patent Publication No. 6-58090 is provided.
In the present invention, a nozzle holder having a nozzle skirt for fixing a pintle at a rear end of the combustion chamber and forming a nozzle throat portion with the pintle is mounted on the combustion chamber so as to be axially movable, The holder is moved in the axial direction to continuously change the nozzle throat area.
In the case of this invention, since the nozzle holder having the nozzle skirt is moved in the axial direction, the moving portion becomes large.
[0003]
Therefore, as a means for changing the throat area which does not have the above-mentioned problems, a floating type poppet valve device shown in FIGS. 5 to 6 has been proposed. 5 and 6 show a schematic configuration of such a floating type poppet valve device. FIG. 5 shows the poppet valve when it is closed, and FIG. 6 shows it when it is open.

The present invention has been made in view of the problems of the related art, and suppresses a rise in the temperature of a poppet valve so that a sealing member such as an O-ring can be used for a sliding portion between the poppet valve and a cylinder. A first object is to prevent generation of a heat stick of a poppet valve due to gas leakage and to improve responsiveness at the time of opening and closing.
[0015]
A second object of the present invention is to suppress the generation of fluid force in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the poppet valve to prevent the poppet valve from becoming unstable and the poppet valve from malfunctioning. is there.
[0016]
A third object is to obtain a larger driving force during the closing operation of the poppet valve, minimize the resistance of the poppet valve during the opening operation, and open and close the poppet valve with high responsiveness. Another object of the present invention is to provide a poppet valve device with improved operability.
[0017]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the present invention is directed to a first aspect of the present invention, wherein a pressure difference between two chambers facing upper and lower surfaces of a poppet valve slidably fitted in a cylinder reciprocally faces the tip of the poppet valve. In a floating type poppet valve device configured to open and close a gas passage by attaching and detaching a seat portion to and from a valve seat,
The poppet valve is made of a heat-resistant composite material, and the sliding portion has a valve body portion in which a seal ring is fitted and a tip seat portion having a smaller diameter than the valve body portion. A first through-hole is provided at right angles to the core wire, and a second through- hole penetrates the valve body portion on an axis and communicates the two chambers through the first through- hole. A floating type poppet valve device characterized in that an orifice is provided in the second through hole .
[0018]
Preferably, a heat-resistant composite material of ceramic fibers is used as the heat-resistant composite material, and the second through hole having the orifice is formed to have a larger diameter than the first through hole. Good to be.
[0019]
It is preferable that one or more through holes having the orifices be provided on the axis of the poppet valve, but a plurality of holes may be provided symmetrically with respect to the axis.
[0020]
According to this invention, since the material of the poppet valve is made of a heat-resistant composite material whose thermal conductivity is much smaller than that of the tungsten material in the prior art, the heat from the lower part directly in contact with the high-temperature gas to the outer peripheral sliding part is obtained. The conductivity is reduced, and the temperature rise of the outer peripheral sliding portion is suppressed. This makes it possible to use a heat-resistant, oil-resistant rubber seal ring in the outer peripheral sliding portion, improves the sealing performance of the outer peripheral sliding portion, avoids gas leakage from the outer peripheral sliding portion, and reduces the heat of the poppet valve due to the leakage. The occurrence of sticks is prevented.
[0021]
In addition, since the poppet valve has a through hole with an orifice symmetrically about its axis, the fluid force by the gas acting on the poppet valve is balanced, and the effect of unbalanced fluid force as in the prior art is avoided. You.
Thus, it is possible to prevent the valve from becoming unsteady due to the unbalanced fluid force and to prevent the poppet valve from malfunctioning due to the unbalanced fluid force, and to smoothly operate the poppet valve.
[0022]
Further, the poppet valve is made of a heat-resistant composite material having a specific gravity much smaller than that of the tungsten material according to the prior art, so that the weight is reduced and the responsiveness of opening and closing the valve is improved.
[0023]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided an upper and lower surface of a poppet valve in which a valve seat having a smaller diameter than the valve body sliding portion is formed below the valve body sliding portion which is reciprocally slidably fitted in the cylinder. A floating poppet valve device configured to open and close a gas passage by attaching and detaching the small-diameter end seat portion to and from a valve seat by a pressure difference between two chambers facing
The two chambers face the upper surface of the valve body sliding portion and are provided with a pressure chamber provided with a supply port and a discharge port for the working gas, and the lower surface of the small diameter valve seat portion with a supply port of the gas passage. An inlet chamber communicated with the pressure chamber, the accumulator filled with the working gas is connected to a supply port of the pressure chamber, and a discharge port is connected to the atmosphere.
The floating type poppet valve device is provided with a pilot valve for opening and closing the supply port and the discharge port.
[0024]
In the floating poppet valve device for a rocket engine, the pilot valve has a spherical valve body fixed to both ends of a valve rod, and one side of the valve body is connected to the valve body via a drive link and a drive lever from a valve drive device. When one of the supply port and the discharge port is closed, the valve element on the other side is configured to open the other of the supply port and the discharge port.
[0025]
The working gas is preferably an inert gas pressurized to a higher pressure than the gas pressure in the inlet chamber.
[0026]
According to this invention, since the pilot valve is constantly in contact with the low-temperature gas from the accumulator, the rise in temperature is suppressed. Accordingly, it is not necessary to use a heat-resistant material for the pilot valve, a low-cost material can be used, and the generation of a heat stick is completely prevented.
[0027]
Further, since the gas pressure in the accumulator is directly applied to the pressure in the pressure chamber that acts when the poppet valve is opened and closed, the pressure can be set to a high pressure, and the driving force of the poppet valve can be set. Can be increased. This improves the responsiveness and operability of the poppet valve.
[0028]
On the other hand, when the poppet valve is closed → opened, the supply port is closed and the discharge port is opened by the pilot valve to open the pressure chamber to atmospheric pressure, and the upward force required to open the poppet valve, that is, the opening / closing force, is reduced. As the size increases, the responsiveness and operability are improved.
[0029]

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, since the poppet valve is made of a heat-resistant composite material having a low thermal conductivity, the temperature rise of the outer peripheral sliding portion of the valve is suppressed, and the use of a heat-resistant, oil-resistant rubber seal ring is used. It is possible to prevent leakage of gas in the outer peripheral sliding portion, and to prevent generation of a heat stick of the poppet valve due to the leakage.
[0054]
In addition, since the poppet valve has a through hole with an orifice symmetrically with respect to the axis, occurrence of imbalance of gas fluid force can be avoided, and the occurrence of poppet valve stiffness caused by this can be prevented. The poppet valve can be operated smoothly.
[0055]
Further, as described above, since the poppet valve is made of a heat-resistant composite material having a lower specific gravity than the tungsten material according to the related art, the poppet valve is light in weight and the responsiveness of valve opening / closing is improved. As described above, a poppet valve device having high durability, good responsiveness, and smooth operation can be obtained.
[0056]
According to the third and fourth aspects of the present invention, since the low-temperature gas sealed in the accumulator is used as the working gas for the pressure chamber for opening and closing the poppet valve, a low-cost material can be used as the material of the pilot valve. And the occurrence of heat stick is prevented.
According to this invention, the operating pressure at the time of closing the poppet valve can be easily increased to the pressure in the accumulator, so that the valve opening driving force increases, and further, when the valve is closed, the pressure chamber is completely closed. Since the pressure can be reduced to the atmospheric pressure, the valve opening force from the lower surface of the poppet valve increases. Thereby, a poppet valve device with high responsiveness and improved operability can be provided.
