【0052】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fuel injection type internal combustion engine and a control device therefor, and more particularly to a relatively small fuel injection type two-stroke internal combustion engine suitable for use in a portable work machine such as a chain saw and a brush cutter, and a control device therefor. About.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a two-stroke internal combustion engine, a carburetor type fuel supply device is usually used. As an example of a fuel injection type, there is a technology described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 64-73165. . In this technique, a fuel injection nozzle is arranged in a cylinder head portion of the combustion chamber in order to directly inject fuel into a combustion chamber, and a fuel pump is driven by utilizing pressure fluctuations in a crankcase. The fuel is supplied to the fuel injection nozzle by a fuel pump to directly inject the fuel into the combustion chamber. In the fuel injection process, that is, the state in which the fuel is injected from the injection nozzle, the piston descends, When the pressure in the crankcase rises and the piston almost reaches the bottom dead center, the fuel pump is operated with the pressure in the crankcase to supply fuel to the fuel injection nozzle, and the fuel is injected from the fuel injection nozzle. The fuel is injected into the combustion chamber by the pressurized pressure of a pump.
[0003]
Further, as another example of the same fuel injection type two-cycle internal combustion engine as described above, a fuel injection nozzle is arranged in the middle of an air passage (scavenging passage) leading to a combustion chamber, and the fuel injection nozzle is provided on a heat conduction wall constituting a cylinder wall. There is a technique in which fuel is injected from the injection nozzle toward the combustion chamber to vaporize and mix with air passing through the air passage and supply the air-fuel mixture to the combustion chamber (U.S. Pat. 999).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in recent years, the reduction of harmful components in exhaust gas and the reduction of noise have been strongly demanded even in a small two-stroke internal combustion engine due to increasing environmental problems. In particular, as a problem peculiar to a carburetor type two-stroke internal combustion engine, reduction of HC in exhaust gas due to a blow-through phenomenon of an unburned air-fuel mixture from a cylinder chamber, or unburned fuel due to a blow-back phenomenon of fuel toward an air cleaner Prevention of gas emission is a major issue, and its solution is desired.
[0005]
In recent years, in a 4-cycle internal combustion engine, a lean burn engine or a direct injection engine that directly injects fuel into a combustion chamber has been put into practical use, and reduction of harmful components in exhaust gas by lean burn technology has been considered. The application of this technology to a two-stroke internal combustion engine is sought.
[0006]
The first prior art (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 64-73165) suggested that the fuel injection nozzle is mounted on the cylinder body and the fuel is directly injected into the combustion chamber from the injection nozzle. Compared with a carburetor-type two-stroke internal combustion engine, it is possible to reduce the emission of HC due to the unburned air-fuel mixture blowing out of the cylinder chamber or the emission of unburned fuel gas due to the fuel returning to the air cleaner side. However, since the structure of the engine itself has two cycles, the reduction of the unburned fuel gas emission is not sufficient due to the structural problem, and there is room for improvement.
[0007]
Further, in the above-mentioned technology, since fuel is injected from the fuel injection nozzle by the discharge pressure of the fuel pump at the time of the discharge operation, it is difficult to adjust the fuel injection timing and the fuel amount, and it is difficult to perform lean combustion. It is difficult to control the air-fuel ratio. Furthermore, the above-mentioned technology does not improve the peculiar phenomena of the two-stroke internal combustion engine such as the rattling of the piston during idling or the loud combustion noise.
[0008]
On the other hand, the second prior art (U.S. Pat. No. 4,876,999) impinges fuel on a wall of an air passage leading to a combustion chamber and mixes it with air. As with the two-stroke internal combustion engine, fuel is easily blown out to the air cleaner side for taking in air into the engine, and unburned fuel gas may be discharged to the outside via the air cleaner. There is a problem.
[0009]
Further, in the proposed technique, the fuel is collidingly injected from the injection nozzle toward the heat conduction wall constituting the cylinder wall, so that the air-fuel ratio control of the engine such as the lean-burn combustion is troublesome.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and has as its object to minimize the change in the structure of a carburetor-type two-stroke internal combustion engine and to easily apply the fuel injection timing. And a fuel injection type that can easily control the adjustment of the fuel amount and the like, reduce the harmful components in the exhaust gas, prevent the fuel from returning to the intake side, and reduce the engine noise. A cycle internal combustion engine and a control device thereof are provided.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, a fuel injection type two-stroke internal combustion engine of the present invention is basically a crankcase pre-compression type having an air intake system, Arranges an air-fuel mixer upstream of the heat insulator, the air-fuel mixer has an air circulation passage, a throttle valve arranged in the air circulation passage, a diaphragm pump for supplying fuel, A fuel injection nozzle having a fuel heating element, An intake port or a reed valve is provided downstream of the air / fuel mixer.
[0011]
And the present invention Pertain to Preferred Specifics of a Fuel Injected Two-Stroke Internal Combustion Engine What As an aspect, the fuel injection nozzle is: There are several, The internal combustion engine Is , AC power generation means and a control device, wherein the AC power generation means and the control device Is As an integral unitary structure, the internal engine Is disposed in the vicinity of the cooling fan-equipped rotor.
[0012]
The fuel injection type two-stroke internal combustion engine of the present invention having the above-described structure is provided with a fuel / air having an injection nozzle in place of a conventional carburetor in place of the carburetor. Mixer , The accuracy of controlling the flow rate of the fuel with respect to the intake air can be improved, and the fuel / air Mixer The external structure of the conventional internal combustion engine is the same as that of the conventional carburetor, and only the internal structure is partially changed. of Instead of a vaporizer, it can be easily replaced.
[0013]
In addition, since the ignition control device, the AC power generation unit, and the control device have a structure integrated with the fuel control circuit, the control device can control both ignition and fuel injection, and can be handled as a single unit. In addition, by arranging the internal combustion engine near the rotor with the cooling fan, the entire internal combustion engine can be made compact.
[0014]
On the other hand, the control device of the two-stroke internal combustion engine of the present invention basically includes an ignition control device and a fuel control device, and the fuel control device generates DC power into a rectangular continuous pulse wave, An injection mode control means for controlling an injection interval by adjusting the number of outputs of the pulse wave, wherein the injection mode control means outputs the pulse wave to the fuel injection nozzle every time or thins out the output number. It is characterized in that switching control to a thinning injection mode is performed.
[0015]
Further, the fuel control device includes an injection amount control unit that controls a single injection amount of the fuel, and the injection amount control unit controls the fuel based on a signal corresponding to an engine load such as a rotation speed of the internal combustion engine. , And is characterized by selectively controlling the heating of each heating element arranged in a number of fuel injection nozzles.
[0016]
Since the control device for the internal combustion engine having the above configuration includes an injection mode control unit as a unit for controlling the fuel injected from the fuel injection nozzle, the electromotive force of the AC power generation unit is generated as a rectangular pulse wave, The operation of the internal combustion engine can be performed by changing the fuel injection mode by appropriately selecting injection every time for each pulse wave, thinning injection in a plurality of forms, and the like. For this reason, by performing the thinning-out injection at a low rotation speed such as an idle rotation that does not require a large load output, the stability of the rotation of the internal combustion engine can be improved, and the exhaust sound at the low rotation speed can be improved. Sound quality, and discomfort due to noise can be reduced.
[0017]
Further, since the control device for the internal combustion engine of the present invention includes the injection amount control means as means for controlling the fuel injected from the fuel injection nozzles, it is possible to selectively control each of the heating elements of a large number of fuel injection nozzles. Thus, the fuel injection amount in one injection can be easily changed. The change changes the output of the internal combustion engine, enabling control that can easily respond to load fluctuations, and accurately and easily controls the air-fuel ratio of the engine such as lean burn combustion (lean combustion). This makes it possible to supply the temporarily rich mixed air required for acceleration or the like to the combustion chamber without a time lag.
[0018]
Further, at the time of the backflow of the intake air from the crank chamber to the intake port side, the injection of the fuel is intentionally interrupted to prevent the fuel from being discharged from the air cleaner through the intake port to the outside. It is possible to prevent fuel from returning to the side.
[0019]
