Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an apparatus for adjusting the positions of two cameras according to the position of a subject in a stereoscopic camera that captures a three-dimensional image using two cameras.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As is well known, images captured by the human eye have a three-dimensional effect because images captured from different directions by the left and right eyes are captured as images synthesized by the brain.
By taking advantage of this, by providing two cameras on the left and right sides and synthesizing the images shot toward the subject, it is possible to obtain an image having a three-dimensional effect even if the image is projected on a plane. .
[0003]
Therefore, a stereoscopic camera has been proposed which can support two cameras on one platform and perform stereoscopic photography while adjusting the relative position.
That is, as shown in FIG. 10, when photographing at the same magnification, in order to obtain the same three-dimensional effect as the image captured by the human eye, the lens positions of the left and right cameras are set to the distance between the human right and left eyes (about 65 mm). It is only necessary to shoot each of the subjects after separating them. In addition, if a zoom lens is used, even if the camera is located behind the distance between the human and the subject, the distance between the left and right cameras is increased, and each camera is set in the same direction as the direction in which the left and right eyes of the human face the subject. By performing zoom shooting with the camera facing, a stereoscopic image having the same feeling as a video captured by a human nearby can be obtained.
[0004]
As described above, in a three-dimensional camera in which two cameras are incorporated into one, a mechanism for adjusting the distance between the left and right cameras and a mechanism for adjusting the angle toward the subject are required.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the positioning adjustment device of the conventional stereoscopic camera, since the parallel and the angular movement are performed by different operations, respectively, the operation is complicated. Also, the optical axis alignment of the two cameras was fixed by fixing the right camera, and the left camera was operated by providing spherical adjustment plates at one place in front and two places behind and moving it up and down. Matching was difficult.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of such a conventional problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a positioning adjustment device for a stereoscopic camera with good operability.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
For this reason, the apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention is an apparatus for positioning and adjusting each camera according to the position of a subject in a three-dimensional camera for performing three-dimensional imaging using two cameras, wherein each of the two cameras is mounted. A pair of left and right stages to be placed, and a support member for movably supporting each stage, forward and rearward with respect to a reference axis directed toward the subject, a support member for the right stage, and a support member for the left stage. A translation mechanism for equally distributing the amount of movement of the support member via one shaft, and for parallelly moving the support member in equal amounts in opposite directions to the left and right, and a parallel movement mechanism provided at an intermediate position between the one shaft; A clutch mechanism for interrupting the rotation of the shaft at an intermediate position so that the convergence angle can be changed.
[0008]
According to such a configuration, when the pair of left and right stages are moved in parallel, the translation mechanism equally distributes the amount of movement of the support members of both stages in the front-rear direction, so that the support members are equidistant in the left-right opposite direction. Move in parallel. Further, the sub-convergence angle is varied by setting the shaft in the disconnected state at the intermediate position by the clutch mechanism. Therefore, it is possible to perform parallel movement and change the sub-convergence angle with one shaft.
[0009]
In the apparatus according to the second aspect of the present invention, the parallel movement mechanism includes a pair of guide members disposed parallel to each other on the left and right sides of the reference axis to guide a support member, and a right and left direction relative to the reference axis. A pair of lead screws that are disposed in parallel with the guide member, are reversely wound around the reference axis, are screwed at equal intervals, mesh with the support member, rotate and move the support member, And the one shaft for rotating the pair of lead screws via a bevel gear.
[0010]
According to this configuration, the left and right cameras can be moved in parallel via the support member and the pair of left and right stages.
In the apparatus according to the third aspect of the present invention, the shaft is configured to be bendable by a flex shaft.
According to such a configuration, the distance between the input and the output is kept constant, and the rotation can be changed to an arbitrary direction and transmitted freely. In addition, the arrangement of the devices can be made freely, accurate centering is not required, and even if there is some eccentricity, a constant torque can be transmitted accurately.
[0011]

According to this configuration, the parallel movement and the sub-convergence angle adjustment can be performed with a single-axis knob, so that the operability is improved and the structure is simplified.
In addition, by using a flex shaft for the shaft, the distance between the input and output is kept constant, and rotation can be changed in any direction and transmission can be freely performed. Then, the devices can be freely arranged, accurate centering is not required, and even if there is some eccentricity, a constant torque can be transmitted accurately.
[0035]
Also, with respect to optical axis alignment, by providing an inclined stage on the left camera side and a height stage on the right camera side, accuracy and operability can be improved.
In this embodiment, the camera distance adjustment and the angle adjustment are both performed manually. However, it is needless to say that the adjustment may be performed by driving a motor.
The stage on which the tilt stage and the height stage are placed may be either left or right.
