TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a range hood that is installed above a gas cooker (gas stove) in a kitchen and that sucks and exhausts combustion gas, oil smoke, odor, and the like generated by cooking. To a range hood that is automatically detected upon detection of a hood.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Recent houses are becoming more airtight, and when using gas cookware, it is necessary to exhaust combustion waste gas, oil smoke, steam, etc. to the outside using a range hood installed above the gas cookware. .
However, the operation switch of the range hood is not always operated when the gas cooker is used. For example, it is often not operated except when ventilation needs are significant, such as when baking fish.
As an improvement and measure for this, the use of the gas cooker and the operation of the range hood may be linked.
[0003]
As a method of this linkage, a sensor that detects the use of gas cooking utensils is attached to the range hood, and it is completed only with the range hood, and the range hood is operated and stopped in conjunction with the use and stop of the gas cooking appliance The method is desirable.
Against this background, a sensor that detects the use of a gas cooker using a sensor and automatically controls the operation / stop of the range hood based on the detection signal has been developed.
As a sensor for detecting whether or not the gas cooking appliance is used, a “temperature sensor”, a “gas sensor”, a “flame sensor”, and the like can be considered, and the “flame sensor” is superior in terms of responsiveness.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in addition to a stove in which a pot or the like is placed and heated, a gas cooker in which a "roaster (fish grill)" is incorporated in a frame of the cooker is widely used. This roaster is structurally concealed by the frame, and therefore has a problem that the flame (ultraviolet rays contained in the flame) rising in the frame is hard to be detected by the "flame sensor". That is, when roasting fish with a roaster without using a stove exposed on the upper surface of the cooking utensil, the "flame sensor" must detect the use (burning from ignition) and stop (fire extinguishing) of the roaster. For example, the range hood (blower) continues to be stopped without being driven, and when the user notices the state, the range hood is manually operated to operate.
The applicant of the present application has proposed Japanese Patent Application No. 8-272336 as a device that can cope with these drawbacks using the “flame sensor”.
[0005]
The above suggestion suggests that modern gas cookware has become ignited by electricity (battery or commercial power) and to fly sparks on all stoves and roasters, and that the flame sensor detects the ignition spark of the gas cookware. Focusing on the fact that this ignition spark emits ultraviolet rays sensed by the flame sensor, the flame sensor detects this ignition spark and starts operation, and after the start of operation, the flame sensor detects the flame of the roaster burning. After the detection becomes impossible, the operation is continuously performed for a certain period of time.
That is, the blower unit is built in the hood, and the hood or the blower unit in the hood is provided with a flame sensor for detecting the use of gas cooking utensils, and the operation and stop of the blower unit are detected by the detection signal of the flame sensor. In the range hood which is automatically performed, a delay operation button for operating the blower unit continuously for a certain period of time after the detection signal from the flame sensor is lost is provided on the hood.
The user can select the delay operation time from, for example, 3 minutes to 40 minutes.
[0006]
However, if 30 minutes or 40 minutes are selected and set on the premise of using a roaster, in the case of normal cooking, when the stove is ignited, the ultraviolet rays emitted by the flame are sensed and the blower is operated to turn on the stove. When stopped (fire extinguishing), the UV sensing disappears, and then the selected delayed operation is continued. Therefore, even after cooking is completed, the blower is operated for a long time, and the air exhaust operation is performed more than necessary, which causes a problem of exhausting the air-conditioned indoor air.
In order to solve this, switching of the delay operation time is performed at the time of completion of cooking or during cooking, or the operation is stopped for 2 to 3 minutes after the completion of cooking by operating the "OFF" button. However, the manual operation is less effective in automatic operation.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and has as its object to provide a range hood in which automatic operation corresponding to actual use is performed.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
By the way, even if the latest gas cooking utensils emit only the sparks of the roaster at the time of roaster ignition, the sparks radiate more intense ultraviolet rays than the ultraviolet rays emitted by the flame. I discovered that most of the light was transmitted and reflected through the gaps between the front glass and the stove, and was almost always detected by the flame sensor installed in the range hood. This ignition spark is normally generated continuously for about 5 seconds.
Therefore, the range hood of the present invention determines that the roaster is used when the time from the detection of the ultraviolet ray to the detection of the disappearance of the ultraviolet ray by the flame sensor is within the detection set time, and determines that the roaster is used. Minutes) Automatically enters timer operation.
The detection setting time is set to be longer than this, for example, 10 seconds, since the ignition spark generation time is usually around 5 seconds.
[0008]
Further, in the case where a lighter is used to light a cigarette in the vicinity of a gas cooking appliance, it is considered that the flame of the ignition is determined to use the roaster and the blower performs a predetermined timer operation (malfunction). However, in such a case, in order to avoid unnecessary timer operation of the range hood, it is convenient to use a switch that turns off the timer operation circuit in the hood or near the hood.
The preset time for the timer operation is set based on the actual situation in which fish grilling is completed within 20 minutes if normal grilling is performed once, and within 30 minutes if it is performed twice consecutively.
Further, the mounting position of the flame sensor may be a position facing the entire upper surface of the gas cooking utensil installed below. For example, the flame sensor is mounted downward on the lower rear side of the front plate constituting the hood.
[0009]
According to the above means, when the roaster is ignited, the ultraviolet rays emitted by the ignition spark are detected by the flame sensor, and the ignition spark disappears in about 5 seconds, and the burner of the roaster ignites and burns. Is not detected by the flame sensor due to the structure of the roaster. Accordingly, the time from the detection of the ultraviolet ray by the flame sensor to the detection of the disappearance of the ultraviolet ray is about 5 seconds when the ignition spark is generated, which is shorter than the set detection time. Therefore, the control unit determines that the detection by the flame sensor is to use the roaster, and performs a preset timer operation.
[0010]
If a stove other than a roaster is used, the flame from the ignition of the stove to the burner after the burner is ignited is detected by the flame sensor. It is longer than the set time, so that the operation of the blower is stopped not by the timer operation but by the detection of the disappearance of the ultraviolet ray by the normal flame sensor. Therefore, the operation of the blower for a long time even after the cooking is completed is eliminated. It should be noted that the operation stoppage by the normal flame sensor is not stopped at the same time when the stove is extinguished. Even if the stove is extinguished, combustion waste gas and cooking smell remain. Sometimes it is done.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an example of an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

Therefore, it is possible to provide a range hood that can achieve complete automation.
When a lighter that lights a cigarette is operated near the stove, the flame of the lighter is detected by the flame sensor, and if the time until the flame disappears is within the set detection time, it is determined that the roaster is used and the blower unit is used. It is conceivable that a malfunction occurs in which the timer operation is performed. However, the malfunction described above can be prevented by operating a switch (rooster) that turns off the timer operation circuit.
